"Yay! I am a fan" might now be appropriate as going to the dentist's has never really be a pleasure nor an excitement but... Having the pleasure of dealing with Rana Baroudi quite eases the pain and anxiety. Had a seriously infected tooth removed without much pain, with proper treatment and a great follow-up. Rana Baroudi made me feel comfortable from the beginning till the end. Waiting for the implant and the crown, I am stepping into her office with serenity and confidence. Extremely professional and clearly skilled, Mme Baroudi is very patient and will answer any questions you might have. Highly recommended! Especially for nervous patients like me!

We tried other offices, but they were fully booked until SEPTEMBER. This office managed to squeeze us in for the following week for a consultation, where they addressed all of our questions and outlined the entire process from operation and recovery. We were able to come back the following for the extraction, so I was very happy with the quick turnaround and their ability to accommodate our schedules. Thank you to Dr. Khayat and his staff!

If you have dental anxiety or a true phobia of the dentist, DO NOT COME HERE…read more I knew I should have trusted my gut from the consultation. I left feeling like Dr. Khayat lacked bedside manner, but I brushed it off because I assumed many surgeons are more focused on the procedure than conversation. I regret ignoring that instinct. The day of my extraction, I was extremely anxious. I hadn't had a tooth pulled since I was a teenager, and I'm now in my 40s. The dental assistant was wonderful. She did her best to calm me down and explain what to expect. She is the only reason I'm giving one star. When the doctor walked into the room, he didn't introduce himself or ask how I was doing. He simply said, "I'm going to numb you," gave the injections ("1, 2, 3...shot"), and walked out. I understood that he needed to let the anesthetic take effect, and the assistant confirmed that. When he returned, he gave me more anesthetic then started the extraction. At no point did he explain what he was doing or check on me, even though I was obviously anxious and could feel my heart racing. I understand that extractions involve pressure and pulling. That wasn't the issue. The problem was that he was pulling so forcefully that my head and neck were being jerked to the side, and I finally had to stop the procedure to readjust myself. I was visibly grimacing, yet he never once asked if I was okay or needed a moment. The only thing he said during the procedure was, "The crown is off." Then my tooth broke, which I understand can happen, but again there was no communication about what was happening. At some point my gum was torn during the extraction. No one told me. I only realized it after he placed a stitch, and I had to ask the assistant what had happened to confirm why I needed sutures. When he finished, he simply said the stitch would dissolve in 7-10 days. He still never asked how I was feeling or whether I had any concerns. Before I left, I asked for an emergency phone number in case I had a problem after the procedure. He laughed and said, "You won't need a phone number." That response was incredibly dismissive. Every patient deserves to know how to reach their surgeon if they have concerns after surgery. I'm a healthcare professional myself, and I would never treat a patient the way I was treated that day. Technical skill is only one part of healthcare. Compassion, communication, and making an anxious patient feel safe matter just as much. If you're having IV sedation, your experience may be different. But if you're having a procedure while awake and you're looking for reassurance, communication, and good bedside manner, I cannot recommend this office. I wish I had listened to the other one- and two-star reviews before scheduling my procedure.

I met Dr. Walker, who is extremely experienced and professional. My extraction was a bit tricky because my wisdom teeth were basically lying very close to my lower jaw nerves. Many past doctors had declined to remove the wisdom teeth because of this and potential risk of nerve damage and permanent numbing. Dr. Walker recommended I get more precise scans on my lower jaw so we could get a very clear view of the area, and let me know that if there was any risk of nerve damage he would recommend not proceeding. After reviewing the scan, he was comfortable we could proceed - he had performed similarly difficult extractions without any of those patients getting nerve damage/numbness. The procedure went smoothly, and the team's care post-op was great. I am really impressed with this practice and in particular Dr. Walker. I truly appreciate his thorough and conscientious style, and highly recommend anyone looking for a professional, patient-oriented oral surgeon.

I am very disappointed with my experience today…read more I was given a 3:30 PM appointment because I was concerned about discomfort around my dental implant after a recent procedure. I had to take time off work and rearrange my schedule to make it to the appointment on time. When I arrived, an assistant briefly looked at the area for less than a minute, asked me to open and close my mouth, and then left. About five minutes later, she returned and told me that the doctor was not in the office and that I would need to come back on Monday. My question is simple: if the doctor was not available, why was I given an appointment in the first place? I lost work hours, had to arrange childcare for my two young children, and rushed to get here on time. Now I am being asked to take even more time off because of a scheduling mistake that was not mine. What concerns me most is the lack of empathy and professionalism. No one sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, it felt as though my time, work obligations, and concerns about a possible implant complication did not matter. If I am worried about a possible infection or problem with my implant, I expect to be seen by a doctor when I am given an appointment. Patients should not have to sacrifice work, income, and family responsibilities only to find out that the doctor is not even present. The quality of treatment may be good, but the customer service and scheduling process were extremely disappointing. Patients' time should be respected just as much as the clinic's schedule.

The kid never complained once of pain and looked at me like I was nuts that wisdom teeth extraction was a big deal. CONSULTATION Honestly wasn't sure if I wanted to do it in multiple procedures or just get it all over with... I went in open minded. The consultation itself was quick & thorough. Watched about a 10 min vid on pros and cons of wisdom tooth extraction, had X-rays taken, and then met with Dr. Reed Rayher and the team. Dr. Rayher was super chill and easy to talk to. He made a few recommendations, answered my questions. I felt comfortable enough to say, "Just knock me out and do everything at once." He also talked to me about using a healing treatment made from my own blood (I have absolutely no idea what the technical name is, so don't quote me ), but it's placed into the extraction sites to help promote healing. My response? "Fk yeah." Anything to recover faster. Now... the one major hiccup. I had planned everything around this surgery.. time off work, my ride, meal prepped, prescription picked up, and even started the required antibiotics and diazepam before the procedure. Then, about three hours before my appointment, I got the call that it had to be canceled because Dr. Rayher was sick. I was fuming. I worked up all the nerves for the procedure just for it to not work out. I definitely cussed up a storm on the phone w/ nurse/clinician. While apologizing for my foul language because I knew it wasn't their fault. Just really an unfortunate situation. Despite that, the team did everything they could to make it right. They got me rescheduled as quickly and the nurse/clinical even took the time to talk with me about the antibiotics that was making me feel awful. They helped switch me to a different antibiotic (thank you... I really hate amoxicillin). && incredibly thoughtful gesture, they also comped my sedation because of the cancellation. They absolutely didn't have to do that, but it meant a lot and showed they genuinely cared about the inconvenience I experienced. Fast forward two weeks... procedure day finally arrived. Same 9 yards. Prepped on the prescription medicine, my ride, meal prep. By the time I got there, the diazepam had already kicked in... I wish I remembered (or asked ) everyone's names because every single person I interacted with was incredibly kind. The assistant who brought me back.. so sweet. Got me hooked up to all the monitors, and even brought me a warm blanket. One thing you probably don't even realize made a huge difference: you narrated everything you were doing. As someone with dental anxiety, hearing "I'm putting this here..." or "I'm going to hook this up next..." kept me from getting startled. That simple communication helped me more than you know. Then Dr. Rayher came in with another staff member.. so I knew it was about to start and my anxiety once again was through the roof cause I know it was about to begin. Not to mention once the sedation started... ive never done this sort of thing. I was definitely panicking... to the point where at one point, I actually pulled my oxygen mask off. I WANTED OUT of that chair. ‍ Whoever gently rubbed my forehead and reassured me--thank you. (I think he mentioned dirt bikes at one point? ). Seriously. That small act of kindness grounded me so much in that moment. Dr. Rayher also continued talking me through the sedation process instead of just doing everything in silence. Again, as someone with anxiety, hearing what was happening made such a difference. Finally, to the person who wheeled me out afterward and patiently went over all of my post-op instructions with me: thank you. Waking up loopy wasn't super fun but your warmth, patience, and friendly voice made the experience so much easier. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I'm now recovering from having all four wisdom teeth removed and a dental implant placed, and so far everything has been going really well. I have my 1 week follow-up and my 3 month implant check coming up. This time im looking forward to it while being coherent. If you're fortunate enough to get referred here, I would absolutely recommend UENO Clinic and Dr. Reed Rayher without hesitation. 10/10 experience. I would not return and would not recommend this practice based on the lack of communication and overall patient experience.

After having a very traumatic experience with another dentist in the past, where I got 1 wisdom tooth removed, it took me years to trust another doctor and remove the other 3 wisdoms. After doing extensive research, I finally decided to see Dr. Carroll. The way I found him was on Reddit, everyone recommended him on there and shared their experiences. Not only was the staff amazing & professional, but Dr. Carroll made everything more smooth and pleasant. Recovery was super fast. I didn't have to take any medication even though pain medication was prescribed. Also, I did all this with local anesthesia because I am scared of being put to sleep. One of his assistants stayed with me for the whole procedure and made sure I was feeling ok, I cannot recall his name but he was the sweetest and made sure I was calm, that's a plus! If you are considering extracting a tooth, do not hesitate to use Dr. Carroll. I 100% recommend him as am the type that has 100% anxiety when it comes to these type of procedures. Yuliya, if you're reading this, you'd be an asset to any dental practice. Five stars for your kindness and professionalism. The areas for improvement: * One of the front desk staff members, Alyssa (spelling?), came to review my balance while Dr. Carroll and Yuliya had stepped out. After sharing my payment amount, she looked at my X-rays and commented that I "actually needed two extractions today." I explained that I was only scheduled for one, but she continued to debate it. I found it uncomfortable and concerning that a non-medical staff member would make that kind of statement rather than checking with the doctor. * When I checked out, I tried to pay with my FSA card, which Alyssa said was declined. I asked her to try again since I knew the funds were available, but she refused and told me the card must not be activated. It later turned out the card was fine -- it has worked before other providers -- so I wish that interaction had been handled with more patience and professionalism. I shared this feedback with Dr. Carroll afterward, but the conversation didn't feel especially empathetic. I was hoping for a bit more understanding, especially around ensuring staff communication stays within their roles. In short: The clinical care was good, but the front desk experience left a lot to be desired. I'd recommend going elsewhere if you value strong communication and patient service across the board.
