I recently got my hair done by Kiniya here and she changed my life with 24 inch extensions. She is so personable and made it a really comfortable experience, as well as having a ton of knowledge to answer any questions I had. My appointment was scheduled easily and my stylist was well prepared with everything ready for me. They offer water or other beverages, and overall have a really great homey vibe in the salon. After going here about 4 times now I can officially say I will never go anywhere else. They have good reasonable pricing, knowledgeable stylists, and a great environment. Would recommend this salon to anyone whether you're looking for a simple haircut or the whole 9 yards!

He said something about there being a wedge in the back and I thought he meant that there would be a wedge when i styled it BUT he meant cutting a wedge in the back so it would give it that lifted look. ANYWAY, before we started I told him i wanted it to look good even when it's not styled because sometimes i dont have time to do my hair. The faded out hair color was not his fault MY HAIR WAS ALREADY LIKE THAT LOL the front and side was okay but i really hated the back It was going to be 75 but because i didn't like the outcome, he gave me a discount so i paid 50. But they got really good customer service, I felt very welcomed when i walked in. I forgot the guys name but he is very nice and talkative.

When booking with Graeber they have a very intensive online "questionnaire" to determine what stylist would be best suited for your needs. I was paired with Raul. He listened to me, viewed all of my photos and gave me feedback on my style and photos and we were in agreement on the best path forward. The receptionist also was very welcoming, offered me coffee and gave me a tour. They carry Oribe and Aveda products which I use so that also is great. In addition to cuts/styles they have extensive skin care routines/facials. The services and products are not inexpensive but if you know what you want this is where you can get it. There was a glitch with their online booking system in which it made it appear that no openings were available, thankfully they reached out by phone and I was able to get in. I explained about the issue booking and they said they would address that, so if you don't find a slot online I suggest you call. Also I found easy on street parking so that was definitely a plus. I'd post pictures of my cut but I take terrible selfies, but everyone at work has commented how nice it looks. Thank you, I'll be back.

I couldn't have chosen a better place. I could tell that the receptionist was working me into the schedule, but he was able to accommodate all of the services I had asked for. Yay! The front area is inviting and everyone is very friendly. I had a pedicure with Bethany that was perfect. It's been close to three weeks and my polish still looks great. Rutger was my masseuse, he is amazing! He found tense areas that I hadn't realized were there and stretched/massaged them. He also explained to me what areas to maintain and self-treat as I'm training for my first marathon. Courtney gave me the most incredible facial! Since I turned 35 last weekend, I felt obliged to opt for the anti-aging facial.I was so relaxed! She also recommended a chemical peel (I was nervous, as I've never done one before!) and I'm so happy she did. My skin felt instantly smoother and there was a noticeable difference in the fine lines and wrinkles that I was starting to spy.... The prices I felt were very reasonable for such a nice place. Yet I felt comfortable and completely at home. Overall I really wish I could give better than 5 stars. I'll definitely be back when my travels take me that way again. Thanks for an amazing first impression of Idaho!

Hannah clearly had no idea what she was doing, there were multiple different techniques she was using with random placement. The toner she used did nothing and she still wanted to charge me $135 for a partial foil which I was told would start at $94 for her specifically. I would have appreciated being told she couldn't achieve what I requested instead of her butchering my hair! She blowed it dry and let me walk out like this, didn't touch it with a flat iron or curling iron. I have naturally curly hair and she knew this also. No refund. Was told I could come back to get it fixed but honestly wouldn't trust anyone in that salon after this experience.

Appreciate that they took me in as a walk in. The nail tech was nice and fun to talk to. Would not recommend unless you are willing to sit around for hours for your nails to dry all the way through. This is an unacceptable manicure in my book. See attached pictures of me easily scratching into my still wet polish. The base coat was Seche Vite base, color- OPI Princess Rule, top coat OPI (not sure which one, but clearly not a quick dry), OPI laquer drying drops. I use this polish and base coat all the time at home and have no issues with prolonged drying time so long as it isn't too thick and a little drying time is allowed per coat (60-90 seconds). I don't understand how this manicure is so bad. Consider using Seche Vite quick dry top coat (can cause wronkles in metallic polishes) or Seche Vite gel effect top coat (great on top of all polished i have tried). OPI's quick dry top coat is also decent. I totally appreciate that I came in at the end of the day as a walk in and appreciate that I was given service with no fuss. I will even admit that I smudged a nail that the tech reapplied for me and I smudged my thumb while paying, but there is no excuse for my other nails to still be prone to gouging and smudging 90 minutes after the manicure. I think the tech may be more comfortable with gel manicures as she said that is what she uses kn her nails- to be fair- you can cure those in minutes. UPDATE- it's been almost 5 hours and the polish is still soft- It is easily dented and scratches off. What a mess- very gummy and bubbly! I was so looking forward to not having to do my nails this week, but it turns out I have to remove this mess and do it myself- plus I'm out $30

If you're looking for an experienced and talented stylist working in a well managed and welcoming…read moresalon then here you go! Jen McKeithen is that stylist and she recently joined The Studio Salon in Eagle. THE STYLIST: Jen arrives from Salt Lake City where she had fifteen years of experience as stylist at an Aveda salon - with all the great training Aveda provides. I imagine Jen's former clients in Salt Lake must really be missing her - and their Facebook posts say that is true - because Jen just cut and colored my hair for the first time and both services were simply top notch. My hair is fine - and I have found that unlike fine wine, fine hair does not improve with age - and challenging to cut. I have tried a number of different stylists in the six years I've lived in the Boise area and Jen provided not only the best cut to fit my hair that I've had here but among the best cuts I've had in a dozen years. (And I say that from the perch that my long term stylist in my previous city was crackerjack good.) Jen's advice on color was expert too - and yes hiding gray is part of my needs and wants list at this age - and I'm equally as delighted with that part of her work to improve on what was not looking good previous color work done elsewhere. I'm thinking Jen could work with anyone's hair to do just about anything they needed done. And to make this even better, this talented young woman has a delightful personality so spending some time in her chair is fun for that reason too. I walked in feeling bedraggled and sad. I walked out feeling like a 'zippety-doo-dah' new and happy woman. Because Jen is relatively new to the area, she is accepting new clients. Lucky all of us who find her now! CONTACT INFO: You can reach Jen directly at this number: 801-403-3834. Or through The Studio Salon at 208-938-0302. THE SALON: Warm and welcoming for men and women of all ages - children too - done in an understated, casual-chic, black and white interior styling, the bright and clean space is well managed by owner Emmy Woodke who is also a stylist and so often on premises. And it may be that the only person who wants the client to be happy as much as the stylists doing their work at The Studio is Emmy who is takes to heart her business. This is an completely unintimidating environment for we...ummm...well...more well aged clients who still want to be treated as if we matter for wanting to look our best...and also I'd think it is as welcoming to the young'un set who want the latest in techniques and quality products used. LOCATION: At the intersection of Eagle and Chinden - look for the now for lease former Walgreens pharmacy on the corner as identifier - in the little strip mall that is also home to The Nest interiors. PARKING: Lots of it in private lot. Some accessible (aka ADA) parking. ACCESSIBILITY: Level in the door of the salon and all on one floor. More than ample clear floor space for path of travel from stylist's chairs to shampoo area. Accessible loo too. One would assume 30 years into the ADA being law all salons would do as good a job of getting it right as does Studio. But, alas, as woman with mobility limits from having MS since I was 20 (ye gads...a long time) I can sadly report few salons get it right as Studio does. Good for Emmy!
