Very Disappointed! My daughter made an appointment for myself & granddaughter for pedicures for my granddaughter's birthday. When we arrived for our appointment we were told it had been cancelled by someone at Inspire Salon & Day Spa earlier that day (no one notified my daughter of the cancellation) We were offered to reschedule @ a measly 20% off, however since she had school the next day and the weekend was already filled with birthday activities that was impossible. not feeling very inspired ... Worst customer service. From the second I stepped into the door. No smiling almost looked straight through me. Then came the weirdest experience I've ever had at a salon... The person who was working on the person I was with said she had to stop working because something looked like it was wrong with her toenail (she gets her feet done religiously and has never ever been told such a thing) because she could lose her license. OK understandable, do what you gotta do... very weird but whatever. Then the person working on me (the person who hasn't been smiling since I saw her at the front desk) starts debating saying that she was just trying to help and that basically we are being rude even though my friend said it was fine and she would keep me company while I got my feet done since her lady refused to work on her. Making an already awkward situation more awkward... Then, this woman, who I'm guessing works there but was not confirmed, comes in and starts rubbing the back of the girl who stopped working on my friend and then just stares at us the whole time glaring as I'm trying to continue having a pedicure that I wish was just over by this point. I asked her what was going on and if there was a problem... she doesn't respond but continues talking to the girl who works there and glaring at me. Super uncomfortable. That's when I said "OK enough is enough this isn't relaxing" and got up and left. Stinks cause I have a gift card there that I will now be unable to use. I will take lost money over having to be in this awkward situation ever again any day of the week. And let's just say people weren't lining up out the door. read more

The biggest rip off. My husband and I went to Inspire separately and both got manicures and pedicures. My manicure was decent. However we both had similarly bad experiences with pedicures from 2 separate women. They do not take off the dead cuticle or clean under your toes. Every salon ive ever been to did that. Also she painted and cured gel polish on my skin. The gel wasnt filed to smooth side either . We feel scammed. read more

I surprised my husband with a couples massage at Inspire the day after Valentine's Day. The staff are all super friendly. They offered us drinks before going in. The massage therapists made sure of any possible allergies and asked if there were any spots that needed extra attention. Everything was amazing and relaxing. Unfortunately my massage therapist didn't have enough time to get to my feet because my neck and back were so tight and tense she took extra care of that. I'm a little bummed but that it ok. Review based on nails service does not reflect on hair, massage, etc. Covid-19 related reasons I would deem this establishment unsafe: I called to confirm with reception staff that masks are required by staff and clients due to the mandate in ada county. I was assured that yes they were requiring them. Upon arrival there are multiple signs stating to wear masks. However, 100% of the other clients were not wearing masks or had them pulled down around their chins. Staff made zero attempt to ask clients to don or correct their masks. Also the staff were wearing their masks incorrectly with their noses out or around their chins. As a hospital employee I can not express to you how unsafe this makes me feel. I specifically called to ask for this exact purpose. Secondly, nail service related issues for why I would not recommend this establishment. The nail technician who did my nails was inexperienced, describing how for years she has only done hair. It was the most painful pedicure I have ever had in my life! One of my nails was cut so short I bled. Would possibly be open to their other services in the future post pandemic. Who knows the masseuse can't make you bleed right? read more

I was in Boise on business and had some time to kill, so I stopped in at Inspire. They were the only place to have openings on a weekend on short notice, and how lucky was I! I couldn't have chosen a better place. I could tell that the receptionist was working me into the schedule, but he was able to accommodate all of the services I had asked for. Yay! The front area is inviting and everyone is very friendly. I had a pedicure with Bethany that was perfect. It's been close to three weeks and my polish still looks great. Rutger was my masseuse, he is amazing! He found tense areas that I hadn't realized were there and stretched/massaged them. He also explained to me what areas to maintain and self-treat as I'm training for my first marathon. Courtney gave me the most incredible facial! Since I turned 35 last weekend, I felt obliged to opt for the anti-aging facial.I was so relaxed! She also recommended a chemical peel (I was nervous, as I've never done one before!) and I'm so happy she did. My skin felt instantly smoother and there was a noticeable difference in the fine lines and wrinkles that I was starting to spy.... The prices I felt were very reasonable for such a nice place. Yet I felt comfortable and completely at home. Overall I really wish I could give better than 5 stars. I'll definitely be back when my travels take me that way again. They were rude, never offered me any amenities while offering them to others right in front of me, messed up the scheduling of my services and then didn't apologize for the mix ups. I really enjoyed my first pedicure here with Braxton! She did a great job and the costs were way more competitive than I expected. Some frills (massage chairs and bubbling water basins) that are common in other salons were not at Inspire, but I was totally okay with that for a more competitive price. My sister and brother purchased a 200 dollar gift certificate for my adult daughters birthday gift. She scheduled for the first time to have a massage and when she drove in from kuna was told they had an employee issue and she would have to reschedule. She did reschedule and showed up to the male employee telling her the masseuse had family issues and had to leave early. She could reschedule or take a shorter massage from someone who wanted to leave as soon as possible. She asked for the cash to be refunded for the gift certificate because twice now they canceled on her and was told they don't offer refunds(even though the gift certificate doesn't say no refunds.). Also when it was issued the salon put the date of the purchase as the expiration date. My daughter was very upset and the mas was yelling at her. So she came to me. I called and spoke with a nice lady who explained they fired the first masseuse on the day of my daughter's first appointment and the second time they canceled was due to the masseuse having a family emergency. She told me they don't even do hair at this point. Then offered a free massage to compensate my daughter for the inconveniences... she reluctantly agreed and on the day of that massage was told , while in the waiting room, that the masseuse was running late from another appointment and would be 45 minutes late to take her. She gave me the gift certificate and told me to just get product with it because she will never go back. I went in today and took up 5 bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Explained to the man I had 200 on a gift certificate and needed to spend it. None of the bottles were priced. The too large ones were 30 each ,He told me, but after ringing up the two smaller ones (one being the small pump version of the large refill shampoo) told me I was at 197 already.. I put the last bottle back as he bagged up my 4 bottles and he never included a receipt. I feel he just stole over 100 dollars from me but hope no one else makes the mistake of going there to experience the unprofessional and frankly criminal behavior. For 200 dollars we only got 2 bottles of shampoo and 2 of conditioner. One large refill and one pump bottle each. read more

Everyone at the spa is so warm and friendly. I was given a tour and it's such an amazing place!! My left should/neck was in agony after a long flight from New York and a previous poor night's sleep. I walked in and had the best of luck to have Rose as my massage therapist. She was so intuitive in applying the exact pressure I needed. Afterwards my pain had subsided and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. She is also a hair stylist, so she was able to trim my bangs so I looked fabulous and felt relaxed as I embarked on my evening. The next day I had ZERO pain and feIt spectacular to get through my busy day. I will definitely be seeing her again! It is very unfortunate that I have to write this review. My wife has been a client of Joys for the last 6 and a half months. They have a standing appointment every two weeks on Tuesdays. My wife is Autistic and struggles with time management and accidentally scheduled a doctors appointment on top of her massage appointment and didn't realize until the night before. When she called to try and reschedule the woman who answered the phone met her with anger and frustration. Adding a cancellation policy and requiring 24 hours notice to reschedule is no problem. But anger towards a disabled woman who didn't know of the policy and didn't mean to make the scheduling mistake will not be tolerated. Joy is incredible, We hope she switches salons so that we can work with her again in the future. We will never be returning to this establishment. read more

Very gentle when doing my eyebrows with little to no redness after wax:) She was very knowledgeable, professional and very intuitive, my jaw was hurting and she must have felt that because she started working it out and my neck area, I never had that before from an Esti! The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. The massage therapists take the time to sit with you and discuss what type of massage and areas of focus you are interested in. I'm giving only Three Stars for two reasons: 1st - Before and after the back massage the therapist lays a hot towel on your back. While this feels nice at first, they leave it on your back far too long. It was a very unpleasant feeling having a cold, wet towel on your back - twice! When speaking to other clients, they experience the cold, wet towel on their back as well. 2nd - When it came to the scalp massage, my therapist Jan spent about two minutes just scratching my scalp. That was a big let down. Otherwise, the overall experience was decent and the pressure was good. I might be willing to visit again, but I will try a different therapist and I will speak up about the cold, wet towel. read more

First time at Inspire and I was thoroughly impressed. I had a Swedish massage with Joy and she was nothing short of amazing. This is a full service salon and spa and while I didn't see the whole salon, what I saw was great. High quality products, lots of organic skin care which I love. The pedicure area is cool, I've never seen a set up like that. The spa area is quiet, comfortable, and clean. I also love that the salon is open concept when you walk in, I hate when I am having my hair done and the salon and reception area are kind of one big space. Inspire seems to be broken up so each type of service must have its own area. The spa is decorated nicely, modern clean style and I think the prices are very reasonable. The other awesome thing is they are open on Sunday, where I live you would never find a salon/spa open on a Sunday so this was awesome. I do not live in Meridian or even Idaho, which is probably a good thing or I would be here every week. I highly recommend! read more

I was there for more than an hour and half, charged for a full manicure ($30!!!!???!!) and literally all the girl did was wrap my nails in foil and scrape my polish off. And, my nails are totally destroyed! At one point, my hands were soaked in a red dye and I left with red and purple hands. Beyond the ridiculous mark up and extremely slow service, the woman who did my nails said commented on my wedding ring and actually said "I used to have one like that but it was about twice as big as that." So rude. Terrible service from the moment I walked in (pushy receptionist, asking for my phone number multiple times despite me not being from there and stopping for a "quick" polish removal) to paying $30 for shredded nails and red-stained hands. Wonderful and friendly staff and a lovely building and atmosphere. My full set of acrylics to almost 2 and a half hours! They lifted and started to come off in a week, the girl doing them was nice, just not very good at nails. She went looking for help but the girl had went to lunch...so i was left to hope for the best. I would have left and went elsewhere but my nails were paid for as a gift from a womens military veterans group. So i was pretty much committed at that point. In the end, it was 50 bucks for a sub par set of nails that took way to long. They were saved and repaired beautifully by Twee at Fashion Nails.
