The food here is straight off the Sysco truck nothing we had was good. The burrito was a Sysco store bought tortilla not fresh one of those thick cardboard tasting ones .. the cheese inside was a slice for sandwiches not even melted. Pancakes were decent it was a large very thin pancake. Eggs if you don't order fried they use a egg mixture (not real eggs) we had scrambled eggs ... it was gross. Recently came here after a half marathon and it's ok. It seems like there stuff is mostly from canned stuff and not scratch made and not much flavor. For example I got there Chile Relleno breakfast which supposedly has there "award-winning pork chile verde"...tastes like canned gravy mixed with other stuff, but sure doesn't remind me of Chile Verde and don't think it's worth calling it "award-winning." I think that phrase is deceiving. My sister didn't really enjoyed her Chile Verde Omelet either. Other than that, food was ok and surprised that a regular drink to them is what CA would consider a Large drink so that was kudos. But I don't think I'll be coming back again if I happen to be around the area. read more

It was busy, but didn't take long to get a seat. Our server was professional and friendly, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, including three different hot sauces LOL. The food was great, we ordered one traditional breakfast and a Philly cheesesteak lunch special. Portions were very generous, everything was prepared as it should be. First, the bad, we sat down and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to us and there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. Secondly, we saw multiple customers come in and the host was not there to tell them to seat themselves, so they were standing there for about 15 minutes and several parties eventually left. Now the good, the service was fine once they actually came over, and best of all the food was great! I had the southwestern country fried steak with homemade pork chili. After being overly disappointed with our hotel's "hot and fresh" breakfast buffet for a whopping $50 for 3 adults, we decided to try a local place. WOW.. best decision we made all trip. Ranch House Grille is a local gem! Great food, friendly/attentive service, wide selection and awesome prices. Before going to church we found this local place that people we talked to and from the reviews on YELP, we decided to try it out. The place is located in a strip shopping area off the beaten path. The entrance is deceiving for the large restaurant you find inside. It was very simple favor with a lot of cool things hanging in the walls. It was a little pricey but worth it. We both had inlets and the food tasted great and was hot. The tea and coffee were good and the service was fast. Other servers assisted ours and each other during the entire meal. This place was a nice little gem of a breakfast joint and I did not expect much when I saw it from the outside. The waitress was super sweet, reminded me of the stereotypical small town cute waitress that all the locals adore. I tipped her accordingly, great service is followed by a great tip I always thought. I kept it simple, just ordered 2 pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. Others ordered their more robust menu items like steak and eggs with all the fixings. I'm used to IHOP pancakes and was expecting those of a similar size so I ordered two. Boy was I floored when I was presented with two huge pancakes! One was the size of 2 ihop pancakes, you'll get your money's worth here. Everyone else was happy with their orders but they could have cooked the potatoes a little longer, they seemed uncooked whole they should be crispy. Also the steak was a little bit on the fatty side but that my appeal to most diners, it was just too much for us. Overall, excellent service, great food and nice atmosphere inside. Let's start with their fresh eggs. They are very good and seem very fresh as claimed. Then the claim about fresh cut steaks. BE AWARE THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THEIR COUNTRY FRIED STEAKS. The country fried steak was straight out of the Walmart frozen section where you get 12 for $8. This was the smallest, nastiest, piece of Chinese factory made crap. With all their claims, I can't believe or understand how this nastiness made it into their kitchen. The service was fair. Have you ever received a "thank you" or "can I get you anything else", where the tone says "I am annoyed your here, that I have to work , and I hope you leave soon"? Well that was the vibe behind the correct words. The menu is a stapled set of advertisements for local businesses. They encourage you to take when you leave. The actual menu could fit on 1 page instead of 6. They have a disclaimer - if you have a noisy child that may annoy other patrons, you may be asked to leave. - Great policy. However they should also try to apply it to those who are watching videos or playing games on their cell phones without using headphones. How annoying it was to listen to that while trying to eat, while watching restaurant personnel ignore it. I came here for breakfast while in Page and this place is as good as it gets. They open very early, 6am for those looking to get an early start. It's located right off the main road and although parking was limited, it wasn't hard to find a spot. It's seat yourself to any table when you arrive. The ambience is pretty cool with a country vibe to it. The menu is embedded in the middle of their replica newspaper. It's loaded with everything you can think for breakfast. My waitress was ultra friendly and extremely attentive. She mentioned she had been working there for many years and it showed. The service was fast and she took good care of us. I got a ham and cheese omelette with home fries. Besides being delicious, the portions were huge. You can actually skip lunch after your meal here and just wait until dinner. The place was pretty crowded and judging by the fantastic service, you knew this was one of the better restaurants to dine at.
