Rancherito's does wonders once again! We have never been disappointed here. We bought the Starving student card at the beginning of the semester, so we got a 2x1 deal on the burritos. This time, we tried Al Pastor and Carne Asada Fries!! My personal favorite was Al Pastor. I think their meat was perfectly made, not too sweet, and it had all the right fillings as well. Paired with some of their salsas, it was a home run. The carne asada fries burrito was also pretty amazing. I find it super filling for me! Their burrito sizes are pretty big!! We always get their horchata because it's amazing!!! This was the first time we go back since their remodel. I may be wrong, but I think they also upgraded their tortillas because these ones tasted so good!! One of the best deals in Provo for sure. read more

2/20/2025 This was the WORST Mexican food I have ever had. I ordered cheese enchiladas, and I could not even cut up portions to eat. The plastic knife would not cut through the tortilla. The "music" was so loud that the cashier could not be heard to ask me for my order, nor to hear my order. I finally held up one finger to indicate I wanted Item Number one. All the sauces were liquids with no fragments of items of them. There was no "normal" salsa with tomatoes, onions and peppers. It's a good spot with lots of great deals from street tacos to enchiladas. I usually get their carne asada fries burrito or 4 street tacos. The burrito is massive, fries are built in, and they have good sauces and typical toppings. The street tacos are nice when I'm not quite as hungry and I flex the toppings a bit. It's within walking distance of the BYU campus so that helps for students looking for somewhere close during lunch time that will be filling! And for like $9 in this economy for a massive burrito that's like mostly meat.. you can't beat it. The only thing that's frustrating with this location is going through the drive through is a mess. They can never hear you and you end up just pulling up to the window and ordering. This usually isn't a problem, but if there is a line.. it sadly means they don't start making ur food until ur at the window and while ur waiting in line they don't start ur order like a drive through normally would. Arrived late to Provo to attend BYU graduation. We were looking for something a little light to eat as it was late. We saw the picture of the bowls advertised with meat, rice, and whole beans. The food came out with refried beans instead of whole beans. The only thing light was the portion as it was definitely kids' size! I took the bowls back to the cashier who was surprised they had refried beans. After about 5 minutes, he called me up to the counter and told me his boss said that they did not have whole beans and he was going to change the advertisement picture. I looked back at the "boss" and the cook who both shrugged their shoulders and smiled at me like I was an idiot. I just took the bowls and turned around. Never again!!! We ordered crispy bean burritos and chips and guacamole on DoorDash. The burritos were good, the chips and guacamole was disappointing. They were packaged together (the guac on top os the chips) and had clearly been prepared this morning as there was a layer of brown on the guacamole and the chips were soggy. Also there was no seasoning, it was basically just mashed avocado. What's more, both times we've eaten here, I got sick about an hour afterwards. We celebrated at "the Ranch." Bad date that night? We drowned our sorrows at "The Ranch." Girlfriends may have came and went to my friends and me, but Rancherito's was always there. My favorite things to get here are the burritos and the combo plates. It's a ton of food for cheap! The street tacos are excellent too. This is the best Rancherito's location. They are lightning fast. The dining room is large and well lit. They're responsive to their drive they. The south Provo location will let you sit in the drive thru shouting at the intercom for 15 minutes, not joking. I always get burritos the size of newborn children here. They never skimp. read more

Here are the rules for Ranchos: It must be after midnight and you must get a breakfast burrito. I swear their burritos are 10x more delicious at 3am. They slap. Period. Their burritos are hella big (left overs for days) and perfect for soaking up all the caffeine from your late night. I actually really enjoy the food here. The reason I am giving this restaurant 1 star is because I found something in my carne asada burrito on 08/13/2019. It felt like I chipped a tooth when I bit into this little piece of .... maybe bone? Regardless, I went back in with the unidentified object and politely asked to speak to a manager to get a refund. The cashier was "unbelievably" rude. 1. Wouldn't contact the manager on my behalf. 2. Refused to give me a refund. 3. My favorite, I had a bandaid on my finger and he accused/interrogated me about it. As if I ripped my finger nail off and claimed to retrieve a 7 dollar loss for the burrito. 4. Just plain rude!!! 5. Asked me if I took a picture of the piece in my burrito... bro I did you one better and brought you the piece! Think about the trouble I had to go through to get my 7 dollars back.
