Thank you to the wonderful staff members for allowing my friend and I to drag out our dinner to make plans for a baby shower/gender reveal! This shindig won't happen until mid July, but my friend and I wanted to hash out major details. We met at a very unbusy Ranchers back on May 5, 2026. We ate. Planned. Ate some more. Planned. Had dessert. Planned just a bit more. And I really wanted more cookies, but I refrained. Lol. All of the employees were super friendly and gracious. I just wish they would switch their system up a bit... I would rather pay for the buffet before we receive our plates instead of after our meal because it never fails I stand at the counter waiting for someone for several minutes. This place was infested with flies!!!! They were everywhere. This is a buffet and they had a good selection but you couldn't even try to enjoy it bc flies were on the food ,tables and flying around every inch. The manager Peggy was super nice and apologized for the flies. I made some suggestions to help keep the flies out . All.the staff waa was very kind and it probably is a nice established if they didn't have the fly problem and cleaned the blinds and walls.It could use some updates. Unfortunately i would never go back . It was my 1st and last visit. Good luck to Peggy with getting rid of the flies. Only reason they get 2 stars is because the staff is really kind and customer friendly. read more

I can't even begin to describe how bad this place is. Everything on the buffet was cold. The highlight was the salad bar which was at best a 2 out of 5... First dinner in Hobbs, NM and it wasn't bad...wasn't bad at all. I got the 5oz Sirloin and my coworker got the New York Strip I believe. Both were very good and was very flavorful. They had a good selection for salad but you had to becareful and take a good look at what looked fresh or not but overall most items were decent. With your steak you get potato or sweet potatoes...I got both and was mighty happy. It's a no frills place and family oriented apparently. General goodness no complaints here really but nothing fancy or special about this place. For genuine goodness at a great value come here. read more

I like their food, and the buffet (a Sunday tradition of my wife and I). Their prices are good, service is fair. The condition of the facility is a bit worn, and could be a bit cleaner (not worrisome, but that aspect could use work). The restrooms are pretty bad. They do keep the salad bar and other bars clean, as well as the tables. read more

Was expecting better with the good reviews, but I should know better here in Hobbs. Ate here on a weekend nite about 90 mins before closing, but it seemed the buffet food had been there since the day before. The taco meat was just that...ground beef that was unseasoned! The other items were passable at best, inedible at worst. Maybe the order menu is the way to go here. This place has REALLY gotten much better since some of the previous reviews of this place.If you haven't already,try one of the burgers.The burgers are delicious!The fries are also very crispy.If you are going to get the buffet,the best day to go is Sunday,because the buffet is fresh on Sundays.The service is also great!So I am giving this place 4 stars. read more

I have been traveling for work for almost 7 years. This is the worst place I've eaten at. "The Whole Thing" buffet seems to imply there is a lot to choose from. Dried chicken strips , dried popcorn shrimp, dried ribs, mediocre salad and vegetables. The cookies were dry, too! This place was the WORST place I've eaten in a long while!!! Not only was the food bad but so was the service. The bus boys, a waitress with bad blind highlights, the "manager" and cashier were all sitting at a table close to the entrance when we arrived and didn't even greet us. We stood there for about 5 min before I got fed up and asked if we should get the plates and drinks from behind the counter ourselves. The girl with the bad highlights then proceeded to throw the plates on the counter with a friendly eye roll. My husband has eaten here two other times and hated it. He didn't order their sirloin chopped steak like we did the first time. I suggest you stick to their chopped sirloin and you'll be happier with your meal. read more

This place has some of worst food I have ever had. Do not ever eat the ribs they are like eating bbq rubber bones with no flavor. The only thing good is the bread and some of the deserts. The salad bar is OK. Everything else is horrible. I am sure the employees never eat there. read more
