Simply put I had two ice cold Coors light bottles for three dollars each, shredded beef taco custom made for myself. Everything turned out exactly as expected and the service was perfect. Plenty of parking for RVs easy access to the highway and if you're off throating it is great to stop on your way home and stop and fill your belly. I will definitely return and try more items and update my review after. Btw, watched football at the bar on the big screen and there is tons of seating. Cool place.

Steak fajitas with beans and rice. Rice didn't taste fresh but reheated.

Stopped by on the way back from El Centro in the late afternoon around 4:30pm. We ordered a steak fajitas, two fish tacos, a lengua torta, and asada fries. Wife said the rice tasted reheated the food tasted okay but not great. Saw that they had increased their prices on their menu with most items now over $10. $60 for the four of us and it just didn't feel like a $60 meal. I get that a lot of small businesses like this is struggling due to covid but unless they increase their quality of food to match their prices, they simply aren't going to survive.

Driving through from Glamis. Friendly staff and comfortable setting. First time here and I am impressed. Definitely will repeat in the future!

This is a great Salton sea spot for a quick bite and a cold beer. It has a full atmosphere, great diner food. Service is quick and with a smile. The vintage bar has a nice 1980s naughahyde soft cushion for you to lean into. Great tacos with what seemed like a homemade salsa, super fresh. Somebody got the burger and fries and loved it, fries were big by still crispy. Bartender poured our beers into frozen mugs. No ac, but still a fun spot in 100 degree weather.

    Chilled glasses!

Takes awhile to get served after ordering but they only have one cook and one waitress. The food is worth the wait

We were not disappointed at all. Upon arriving, there was a musician playing, and they did seat us off to the right so we could not see but could hear still. There is outdoor and indoor seating, but at the time we came it appeared that the outdoor was reserved for an event. We happily sat inside! Having met Jeremy's parents earlier in the day who also recommended his restaurant, and they were just lovely, we had hoped to possibly meet Jeremy too. I wanted to try everything, but we opt on getting a few dishes to share. Our son ordered the filet mignon and they were able to substitute mashed potatoes for fries. Amazing!! The mac & brisket appetizer appeared to be the highlight and specialty and we just had to order it. Every bite was cheeesy and delicious with the brisket very moist. We couldn't go without ordering the Brussels sprouts and it had a twist with ponzu sauce and pineapple. Definitely a different take and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste. Every bite was foodgasmic and I highly recommend!!! I knew coming here that some Yelpers have experienced wavering in quality, so glad we did not experience that at all. As of the date that we came, we understood that the restaurant had been listed for sale, not sure if Jeremy sold it yet or not. I hope not, we plan on coming back this summer!

My daughter's meal was fish and chips and not that great. The prices are high. If you wanna get a steak, it will be $60, thank you. The chairs are hard and it's kind of like a regular restaurant. Feel not the luxurious feel that it was many years ago. Just too pricey for an average restaurant

The place is a tiny little restaurant tucked away on a desert Road not much to see but it is definitely worth the nostalgia and history of the area. The food was delicious. We had the fish and chips. It was very reasonably priced and boy was it delicious big fat pieces of Cod deep fried perfectly. French fries were equally as good. it was a great comfort, food restaurant, and a great place to go while you're passing through for a quick snack and a cold beer. They were cooking a special that evening of prime rib, but we couldn't stay long enough for dinner. It's a great place and you feel part of history. Our bartender was so sweet and the other worker was equally talkative and friendly.

It was a hassle to drive from Anaheim to the Salton Sea, which is why it took me so long. I came here with a couple of friends and we all had patty melts. These were highly recommended and also featured in the YouTube video that I saw 7+ years ago. One of us had fries, one had tots and I had onion rings. The sandwiches were very good. Tasty and not too greasy. All of the sides were good and my onion rings were some of the best I've had. The service was very good. There were a few people at the bar, and the bartender was also our waiter and cooked our food. I believe his name was Tony. He was very personable and ran my leftovers out to the car before we left. He had a lot of interesting facts to share about the Salton Sea area. The ambience is very interesting. It's got a kind of divey and kind of touristy atmosphere. My friend said it reminded her of the cantinas down in Baja California. There is a great view of the Salton Sea and plenty of picnic bench seating outside. We ate inside though, because it was kind of windy.

We didn't have reservations and requested to be seated inside. There was a little awkward first impression with the hostess who told us that there was only one inside table left in the back corner. She didn't come across very friendly when we asked if we could see it before deciding if we wanted to sit there or not. I understand they were busy but she was a bit short with us. We were seated in Isabel's section and she more than made up for it. What a gem! She was so friendly and very nice. She made sure to check on us often and we had a lovely time at your restaurant because of her. We are giving this review 5 stars because of Isabel. The seared ahi tuna salad and the ahi tuna nachos were both delicious. The fish was fresh and so very tender with a light dressing. The pulled pork tacos were good too. The brownie dessert was a bit dry though.

Instead, she bit into a sharp chicken bone hidden in the salad--something that absolutely should never happen. This wasn't a small, soft fragment either; it was sharp enough to cause immediate, severe pain and pierced her gums. This is not just a minor oversight--it's a major failure in basic food safety and kitchen preparation. There is no excuse for serving food in this condition, especially something as simple as a salad. We trusted this restaurant to provide a safe meal, and that trust was completely broken. What makes this even worse is that the situation could have been far more dangerous. If swallowed, this could have led to choking or internal injury. No customer should ever have to worry about that when ordering a salad. I strongly urge the restaurant to take a hard look at their food prep standards and quality control, because this is unacceptable. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

On a scorchingly hot summer Saturday, we found ourselves meandering through the Anza desert south of Palm Springs. There is nothing out here, folks, except the barren desolation of an abandoned dream that is the Salton Sea. Nestled among the forsaken blocks of a residential community that never came to be is Las Tias Mexican Food. A little slice of culinary heaven in the midst of blight, it is worth every hour of the drive to get there from wherever you are. This is the place that earns you your legit "hipster dining" credential and provides anecdotes to drop at that next gallery opening or trendy gala. A pop-up style restaurant in the garage of the proprietors, Las Tias is authentic enough to be two hundred miles south. These ladies are making it all from scratch, right down to the homemade masa and hand-pressed tortillas. We watched them prep fresh veg and meats, including pollo, carne asada, al pastor, cabeza, birria, and more. Even beyond the tacos, the menu is substantial and everything we tried was delectable. The portions are generous, to say the least, and their simple salsas are flavorsome. Any doubt we might have had about this random little spot was completely alleviated by the steady flow of carry-out customers the entire time we were there. We chose to eat in, which meant sitting at one of the two tables set up under an event-sized tent outfitted complete with misters and fans. After a day of hiking in the hundred-plus degree weather, we were delighted to come across this little oasis. Load up the gang, road trip through the desert, and get yourself some tasty grub and an experience you'll talk about for years!
