What a spectacular place to stay!!! This was a perfect choice. The grounds were lovely, it is so quiet and tranquil. A perfect escape! DJ up at the front desk was so accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast was great too. We had a fantastic time and will absolutely be back!

Beautiful spot very quiet lovely pool, spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast close to everything!!:-)

"Made to Order" the waitress even said this was already made and no other choice available besides already hard boiled egg.

A disappointing stay. First let's talk about the only good thing... the room is beautifully designed. Furniture is nice and linen comfortable. The bathroom is clean & small but very functional. The rugs in the bathroom are dingy, so gives you that icky feeling to step on. The hotel has no views. Our room faced a wall. Breakfast is not made to order as described. They bring you a list and you choose what items you want and pay for extras. The eggs are already scrambled so it's not made to order according to the waitress. It's like a continental breakfast served in a plate instead of a buffet. The staff lacks knowledge of giving the ideal customer experience. When we asked about their partner wineries they basically handed us a paper ... Housekeeping was great but missed our room do we had to ask for it on the first night. The next day before we left, we stopped at the front desk and asked for housekeeping and the clerk acted extremely annoyed borderline rude and said she would check to see if it would be possible ... it was the attitude that got us frustrated. Very disappointing with this stay. In my opinion it should not be in the Hyatt list.

I've passed by this hotel many times as a frequent traveler to wine country. Rancho Caymus Inn is located in the vicinity of Caymus and The Prisoner wineries which were our destinations. Dinner at the Rutherford Grill was perfect as it is a five-minute walk. I was able to find a great rate on AAA and was pleasantly surprised at the unexpected excellence here! Upon entering the room, the feeling of coziness cloaked the atmosphere. The interiors matched the rustic Spanish villa look of the exterior grounds and architecture. The bathrooms are renovated nicely. I love the extra touch of a heated fan above after exiting the shower. There are coffee and tea in the room with a mini-fridge (containing two complimentary waters) and a nice balcony to enjoy your libations. After dinner, my friend and I wanted to enjoy more wine (without going into the expensive winery purchases). They have a self-serve area with snacks and various beverages which are EXTREMELY reasonably priced! We were both impressed at the large 16oz sparkling Voss waters at $5/each. I remember paying almost $20 for bourgeois H20 in clubs! We were able to find a nice bottle of Honig Sav Blanc for $30 also! You simply take your goods to the front desk and have it billed to your room. If you need something they don't have, there is a mini-market across the street to fill in the gaps. They offer complimentary room service for breakfast also which most definitely exceeded my expectations! I wasn't expecting much more than continental, but there were scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, delicious croissants, berries, mixed fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh juices to choose from! The balcony was the perfect place to indulge in our AM ailment before beginning our day. Checking out was a breeze and we left well-rested and ready to start the day. I would absolutely return to Rancho Caymus! -so cozy, quiet, quaint and peaceful!

Checked in last minute after a long day of wine tasting & fine dining. The staff was great , checked me in right away with a awesome room. My room was large, clean & updated. The free breakfast is great!

We had the corner room upstairs - love the ceilings and room layout. I'm taking the photo from the livi g area that is down two steps.

This is a lovely inn/boutique hotel. We booked with Chase points for a last minute stay and have no regrets! It is located right next to Rutherford Grill (who knew? We have passed it so many times without noticing) and is easy to get in and out of. It's a smaller hotel, but so charming and well cared for. The staff is wonderful. We were greeted and offered glasses of sparkling wine as we were walked to our room. We were shown around the room before we settled in. There was happy hour downstairs in the evening (poured by various local wineries - it was Miner Family Vineyards when we were there), and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. This is at the top of my list of one of my more favorite boutique hotels, and I look forward to staying again!

Didn't have any expectations coming to this hotel since my wife booked it without my knowledge. But I have to say it's a beautiful boutique hotel with awesome amenities for the price. Your in central Napa Valley at a reasonable price

The first and second courses really stood out, especially the risotto, which was truly out of this world. One thing I really appreciated was how seamlessly everything was coordinated. Our party of eight all received our dishes at the same time, which made the experience feel elevated and well thought out. Each dish was carefully explained as it was presented, and anytime we needed anything, the staff was right there to assist. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and added so much to the experience by walking us through each course in detail. The ambiance and view made the evening feel even more special. I was slightly underwhelmed with the lamb main course, as it felt like it hadn't just come fresh off the grill and was a bit cold. That said, by the time it arrived I was already quite full from the earlier courses, so it didn't take away too much from the overall experience. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff made it feel special by bringing out a candle, which was a really nice touch. The nonalcoholic beverages were also excellent. Overall, despite a small hiccup with the main course, the exceptional service, coordination, and earlier dishes made this a wonderful dining experience.

I will say first, from what I saw of the hotel, it is nicely appointed and has great staff. I would consider coming back just to stay. Our lunch was also pretty nice. The service was rather slow, especially since we were one of two occupied tables for most of the time we were there (mid-week), but the food was very good and fresh/healthy feeling. Now, on to the spa. I chose the 80 min peptide lifting facial for $395. First of all, $395 is a price you might pay for a full service spa. This is not that. There is a tiny locker room with a closet sized sauna in it that could fit one or two people. There is one shower and a sink to clean up in. No other facilities. Second of all, the facial was nothing special to cost that much. I have better facials at home at my local salon, and usually pay less than $100. At the end of the facial the esthetician, who had just spent the last 75 mins cleaning all the gunk off my face and out of my pores, then proceeded to put a nasty tinted moisturizer all over my face! I asked her about it at the time, told her that I do not wear makeup of any kind, and even told her I was concerned about it getting on the collar of my light grey sweater. She just slathered it on. Told me if I didn't like it I could use a tissue to wipe it off! When I went to get dressed after my service I looked in the mirror and saw that I did in fact look like a tangerine. Thankfully I had some cleaning wipes in my bag, and was able to get it all off. So I basically wiped off $395 of facial in two minutes with a cheap drug store towelette. Great. So, basically, stay at the hotel or maybe trying out the restaurant, but avoid the spa!

Solage is nestled right on the Silverado Trail in the heart of Calistoga, and the location is unbeatable--you're basically three minutes from downtown and a short, scenic drive from St. Helena and Yountville. The property itself is stunning. It's got that modern wine-country vibe with about 100 detached studios spread across 20-plus acres. When you're sitting in one of the natural hot spring pools or hitting the cold dips at the spa, it really does feel like world-class luxury. Between the mud slides, the gravity chairs, and the fitness classes, you can easily spend your whole trip without leaving the gates. The Food: Solbar is a must. We had the seven-course New Year's Eve prix fixe with wine pairings over numerous years, and each were equally unique and incredible. It's that perfect balance of farm-to-table "health" food and total comfort dishes. For something more low-key, Picobar by the pool has some of the best Baja-style tacos I've had in NorCal. Plus, the whole place is super dog-friendly, which is a huge win for us. The Experience & Pro-Tip: Definitely book through AmEx Platinum if you can. We used the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and snagged a $300 credit, a late 4 p.m. checkout, and an automatic upgrade. I will say, even "perfect" places have their off moments. This year, despite requesting a room close to the spa months in advance (and confirming twice), they initially tucked us away at the far edge of the property. I wasn't thrilled about hiking across 22 acres in my robe and sandals! I spoke with the front desk, and the concierge actually went back and reviewed my recorded calls to verify the request. They did move us about 30 minutes later to a spot half the distance away, though it lacked the private fenced patio and fireplace of our original booking. I was too tired to keep fighting it and just wanted to get to the spa, so I settled in. Despite that hiccup, the service and the atmosphere here remain some of the best in the world. It's not cheap, but for the memories and the access to Napa's best vineyards, it's worth it every time. Can't wait to be back next year.

The room service could have been better as they missed delivery of the pre-ordered breakfast in the morning as the night shift didn't properly fill in the order request and didn't get placed, but the team quickly remedied the situation and delivered not too long after our original request time. The rooms were comfy with a good layout, but the garden out back were covered with fences and it didn't feel as freeing as Stanly Ranch's rooms where the back patio is uncovered. We went back after check in time and commented nobody text us and this lady working was much less friendly and said we only text you if your room is ready before booking- otherwise it will be ready at 4. The lodge was not very full- so it was hard to believe that there were no rooms ready earlier and if the policy is they don't take early check ins, just say that your room will be ready at 4, not let us think we are waiting for a text. When we got to our room it was a complete let down. There are a lot of room types, so do your research. We got a room with a fire place. It was December, we thought how nice to light a fire and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the night- nope fire places are for show (I did go back and it states this in the reservation- but I missed it when booking). I also think the rooms with a view were not available, but we ended up with a balcony that was right next to another buildings roof. It was really too cold to sit outside, so that wasn't as much as a deal breaker as the fireplace this time of year, but we never stepped foot on the balcony. We were unpacking and getting settled and I could not warm up. I think it was after our dinner that my husband went to the bathroom and realized the bathroom window was open, which was why it was so cold in the room. We realized that was probably open because the room was always too hot or cold. We would toss covers on and off all night long & the mattress was way too hard for our liking... the room was a nice large size. The bathroom was clean but very dated. There were nice amenities like a shower cap, face wipes, spa shampoo & conditioner etc. I am assuming because it was off season the grounds were not all that tended too- there was moss growing in the bocce ball sets- the fountains needed painting- but the outside grounds looked like it would be very relaxing if the weather was warmer. The breakfast is nice- we would go into town and get Model or Bouchon and then eat fruit from the free breakfast. Our last afternoon- we had a few bottles of wine to drink and the staff working that day were so great- they set us up in the fireplace room and we just had a great afternoon drinking wine and chatting and was a great end to our trip- what we envisioned when booking a "lodge" in early December- cozy and relaxing. The lodge is at the farthest north end of town- it's close to a few restaurants but most things are a decent walk into town. When the sun was shining it was nice, but at night with the wind it felt far. I'm not sure if we will give this place a chance again. I wanted to give it 4 stars but there was just too much that was ok to tip it above a 3/5 rating.
