We stayed here for my birthday celebration and they made everything perfect. The service is excellent. The room was amazing and exactly what I wanted. The concierge desk was so helpful with assisting with scheduling a vineyard tour and recommend dinner reservations prior to our arrival and we loved every minute. I felt my birthday was valued here and I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. The lobby is beautiful. Prime location with restaurants, shops, and bars in walking distance. And street parking isn't bad! The pool is nonexistent but the rooftop area is still nice. I loved the view from my room balcony and felt it was worth the price.

Archer definitely lives up to its reviews, this property is gorgeous. The suite was spacious and homey. Literally stayed in both nights and relaxed. The downtown area honestly had a few shops, bars and restaurants but it is just a few blocks. Used this is a home as while touring Napa and for that purpose it was a bit pricey. Checking/valet was a nightmare. The front desk associate seemed annoyed I had to check in (not busy, around 6:30 pm) didn't explain any of the amenities and just was dismissive of me. When I asked about the parking she told me to park on the street. The street? I researched the hotel had valet. She reluctantly told me Valet was $34/night and just to pull front. Mind you there was a row of cars some double parked. There was no front to pull up to. I waited over 15 mins several cars down from the front with no movement and no assistance. I finally called front desk again and circled around 4x before I was able to pull up front. The manager met us out front and was apologetic. The valet manager was also very sweet and helpful, took our bags up to our suite. The valet has in/out no option to self park and they take 8-10 mins every time you need your vehicle. Would I stay again, unlikely. Paid over $1k /night and the initial interaction soured me impression. At this price point I did not feel like a welcome guest.

We were impressed by the location and the ambiance of the hotel. Wish we had known there were no alternatives to valet parking. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and tasting rooms along with amazing bakeries near by. Roof top bar closed earlier than expected so we never had a chance to go up there. The gym and spa are very nice. Great view when you're exercising. The standard room is nice but doesn't have a lot of space. Would recommend this hotel for the convenience of not having to drive unless you're going to the vineyards.

Overall, clean, nice quality, and convenient location. I have no idea how much this cost since I was here for a business meeting. Pros: I don't say this often at all - their bed is very comfortable and perfectly firm. I rarely sleep well in a hotel and this was the exception (or I was that tired). Also, noise is very minimal (either the guests are extremely quiet, or the place is extremely well insulated). No door slammings waking you up all night long. Quirky, cute artwork in the hallways. Fresh spa water in the lobby. Comfortable, classy lobby and attached restaurant area where coffee is served in the AM. Near all the fun shops and restaurants in the main stretch, near oxbow market if you walk a bit. Cute little treats you get with evening turndown (see's lollies and chocolates, delicious caramels at arrival!) Cons: Heads up, no microwave or fridge (outside of the microfridge that is already stocked and has little space, also didn't really feel cold enough as a real fridge). Classy guests don't keep leftovers I guess? If you have leftovers, prepare for there to be nowhere to keep them. It's not a pool on the roof, it's 6 inches of cold water for your butt and toes. A bunch of us here thought it was more of a wading pool, but it's more like a narrow trough / giant shallow sink? with water loungers. Wasn't very useful, didn't see anyone using it. Coffee was complimentary but 2 of the dispensers were empty even early in the morning. Had to search for someone to flag to get it filled. Parking's kind of a pain if you want to be driving in / out at leisure - you'll need to use their valet and it takes 10-15 to get the vehicle out of wherever it's being kept. Or you can use public parking around the corner but not sure how much that is.

The damage the Archer valet did to my new car

I stayed at the Archer over New Years. I decided to use their Valet service like I usually do at nice hotels. I had just purchased a vehicle that was in perfect condition. When I left the hotel I drove home 3 hours away. When I arrived I noticed that there were deep scratches along the back passenger side of my new car. It's been 4 months of trying to get the Archer to take responsibility for the damage their valet caused. They and their insurance company are denying responsibility because I didn't notice it at the time I checked out. They also refuse to share the video of the front of the hotel of my car on the day I departed that would prove their innocence that they claim. This hotel doesn't care about its guests. Steer clear of this hotel next time you're wanting to stay in downtown Napa.

Edgar Banilla is an exceptional bartender his drink are amazing and I will always come back.

I have a mixed review for this hotel. The hotel has a beautiful lobby , nice rooms with a fireplace on the balcony, and a rooftop restaurant. All great. We did have a few pretty serious negatives to our experience tho . The day we pulled in, tired from a long road trip, it was pouring rain and we could not even find the front door. We walked all around the plaza containing their other businesses- coffee shop/restaurant etc and nearly gave up after walking all the way around the entire building. Once we found the front door , which is located on the Main Street the valet service ( which is required unless you want to park 3 blocks away ! ) was not very welcoming. We had lots of luggage and in the pouring rain we struggled to get our bags onto the cart, they did not help us at all. The guest services man Jorge was great and friendly and even upgraded us to a nicer room for our troubles. Once in the room we tried to hook up our Amazon fire stick to watch t.v. But the tv was flush against the wall and we could not reach the HDMI port. We called downstairs and they said they would send someone up to help. Half an hour went by and no one came so I called downstairs again , at which time i was told "our t.v.'s do not accommodate that' . That is a total lie , any tv with an HDMI port can be used with a fire stick, we guessed they were just too lazy/ busy to come up. The tv was very large , but was not even a smart tv . What the heck ???? Even a basic motel has a smart tv. We went down to the lobby bar to have some drinks and a snack . The hostess in the restaurant said we could sit anywhere in the lobby and someone would help us. We waiting for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us so we left . Other people had food and drinks so I don't know what that was about ..... We decided to just eat dinner on the rooftop and be done with this experience. The hostess was very uninspiring about her job and seated us. The dinner service was decent , it was pouring rain and we got a bit drizzled on between the louvres of the rooftop awning but overall dinner was ok. Due to the "snobby feel" of most of the staff and the lack of t.v. Options i would probably not stay here again. It's a shame because it was a nice location.

Great hotel...beautiful.....been to their others so I really like them...only complaint about this one is the shower...the handheld had no power...the bar is really nice and Matt is the better of the bartenders...he knows how to make a drink. Beautiful room 237, suite..just no balcony?

Lobby is tiny and we were greeted while they were busy with other visitors. Gave us a three level upgrade with outdoor tub but too many leaves and pollen to use. Called for housekeeping and nobody arrived. Have to call to get slippers and tooth brushes and only bought one set even though they confirmed for two. Lounge sets were not covered prior to our arrival which I would expect as part of housekeeping. Hence can't use lounge chairs and patio furniture without cleaning. Spiders on outside furnitures and inside cottage had one dangle down its web right in front of me while sitting on the sofa. Bathtub inside is broken and can't use to take a bath and looks like it's been broken for a while. I liked the folding patio door setup as allows a nice view of the roses in the yard and a nice breeze but a lot of bugs. Could be helpful if there's lavender plants in the backyard. Nice fire place in backyard that can run really hot and keep bugs off you and a nice place to relax in the morning. Shower had nice heated floors but tub not working detracted from the experience. Service is great and everyone was ultra friendly but hard product is missing the spot.

Upon arrival, we had to wait to check in because there was only one person working the front desk. For a resort charging nearly $1,200 per night, this was not a great first impression. There was also no welcome drink or arrival experience offered. The next day I noticed a bottle of wine and cups sitting on a table near check-in, but no one had mentioned it to us when we arrived. I booked through American Express Platinum and inquired about a room upgrade, but was told the resort was at full capacity and no upgrades were available. However, throughout our stay the property appeared surprisingly empty and certainly did not feel anywhere close to full occupancy. I had also informed the resort ahead of time that we were celebrating our 6th anniversary. There was no welcome note, no small gift, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. While not required, these are the types of details luxury resorts typically excel at, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. The room itself was another disappointment. For the rate we paid, it felt small and poorly maintained. Several lights and the television were unplugged, leaving us to troubleshoot them ourselves. The curtains were falling off the rod, and there was visible trash in the backyard area. These are basic maintenance issues that should never be present at a property positioning itself as a luxury destination. Dining was equally frustrating. We attempted to get a table at The Farm and were told the next available table would be about 20 minutes. We were offered immediate seating outside near the bar, but staff failed to mention that this was effectively a different dining experience with a much more limited menu. The service there was poor from start to finish. Our waiter forgot to place one of our orders, resulting in my wife's meal arriving much later than mine. We frequently had to flag him down just to receive basic service. The food portions were small and the quality was mediocre at best. The one bright spot of our stay was the wine tasting at Post Tasting Room with Cole. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a great guest experience. He was easily the highlight of our visit. Overall, Carneros Resort and Spa did not deliver the luxury experience it promises, nor did it justify its premium pricing. Between the poor service, lack of attention to detail, room condition issues, and disappointing dining experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends or family.

Same goes for the wine tasting at their bar, which I was looking forward to but didn't end up trying because the property wasn't walkable during construction. Parking is uncovered but right out front, which was convenient. The lobby felt small and a bit awkward, likely due to the remodel. One thing I really missed was the 24/7 tea and coffee--they had it out on the patio for a while, but it disappeared, and I definitely noticed. Now for the good: the room was gorgeous! The tub was a dream and the bed was so comfortable, I slept better than I had in a while. I didn't check out the gym (if there even was one), but the hotel is right off the freeway and super close to everything you'd want to do in Napa. I will say first, from what I saw of the hotel, it is nicely appointed and has great staff. I would consider coming back just to stay. Our lunch was also pretty nice. The service was rather slow, especially since we were one of two occupied tables for most of the time we were there (mid-week), but the food was very good and fresh/healthy feeling. Now, on to the spa. I chose the 80 min peptide lifting facial for $395. First of all, $395 is a price you might pay for a full service spa. This is not that. There is a tiny locker room with a closet sized sauna in it that could fit one or two people. There is one shower and a sink to clean up in. No other facilities. Second of all, the facial was nothing special to cost that much. I have better facials at home at my local salon, and usually pay less than $100. At the end of the facial the esthetician, who had just spent the last 75 mins cleaning all the gunk off my face and out of my pores, then proceeded to put a nasty tinted moisturizer all over my face! I asked her about it at the time, told her that I do not wear makeup of any kind, and even told her I was concerned about it getting on the collar of my light grey sweater. She just slathered it on. Told me if I didn't like it I could use a tissue to wipe it off! When I went to get dressed after my service I looked in the mirror and saw that I did in fact look like a tangerine. Thankfully I had some cleaning wipes in my bag, and was able to get it all off. So I basically wiped off $395 of facial in two minutes with a cheap drug store towelette. Great. So, basically, stay at the hotel or maybe trying out the restaurant, but avoid the spa!

We flew into Sacramento Airport and made the drive to Napa, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes depending on traffic. Once we arrived, the location of the hotel immediately stood out. It sits just outside downtown Napa--about a 9‑minute walk or a quick 2‑minute drive--and the surrounding area is flat, safe, and very walkable. From the front entrance near the valet, a simple left turn leads you straight to Oxbow Public Market and the Napa Riverfront. The Napa Valley Wine Train station is also right next door, which adds a unique charm to the property. The hotel itself is built along the Napa River on land that was once part of the city's early railroad and milling district, and that history is reflected in the setting. Another highlight is that this Westin is one of the few with a Michelin‑star connection through its signature restaurant, La Toque. Upon arrival, valet greeted us immediately, as valet parking is the only option. Check‑in is located just to the right, and the first thing that caught my attention was the wall of wine bottles--a thoughtful detail that reflects Napa's identity as a premier wine region. The lobby is spacious, inviting, and beautifully designed, creating a strong sense of arrival. We stayed in room 2079, a superior one‑bedroom suite that felt more like a private residence than a typical hotel room. The suite included a dining table, a pull‑out couch, two televisions (one in the dining area and one in the bedroom), a full kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. The space was clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The bathroom was also impressive, and the waterfall showerhead quickly became one of my favorite features. Overall, the Westin Verasa Napa offered a comfortable and convenient stay with excellent access to downtown, the riverfront, and nearby attractions. The thoughtful design, spacious rooms, and ideal location made our New Year's visit smooth and enjoyable. It's a property that enhances the Napa experience in all the right ways.

This allowed us to have a few meals in the hotel and save some money. My kids stayed in the sofa bed, which they said was very comfortable. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and there was bar service at the pool, which was a great plus if you wanted to grab a drink or a snack. My kids also enjoyed the bocce court (although they used it to play football :)). I also appreciated the 5 pm complimentary wine tasting. The location is also very convenient being close to Oxbow Public Market. Overall, this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and greatly appreciate the excellent customer service, cleanliness, and beauty of the grounds. My only pieces of constructive feedback would be (1) to not allow people to hog the cabanas by putting their stuff there and then leaving; (2) put in a sauna.
