All of the restaurants and tasting rooms are within walking distance from here and they even supply bikes if you want to ride the wine trail. Our room had high ceilings and fireplace with a large glass patio door that opened up to our own private courtyard. Breakfast was included in the main house with options like eggs Benedict , breads, oatmeal, yogurt fruit etc... I would like to come back for a longer stay!

We stayed here because we wanted to be stumbling distance away from the French Laundry (a 1 minute walk away in heels lol) and it was perfect. When we checked into the inn, I mentioned to Wesley that I was disappointed that we missed the wine and cheese hour, he quickly assembled a lovely plate for us and poured us 2 glasses of red wine. So nice! He also offered to take pics of my husband and I around the property and gave us a quick synopsis of everything we could do that was within walking distance. In the mornings, Susan took very good care of us. Always smiling as she greeted us and laid out the lavish buffet breakfast. Juices, water, teas, and coffee included. Other notes: *You could sign out complimentary bicycles *No Tesla charger on the premises, but close by *Ample parking around the inn *Nice welcome card and warm cookies on your bed upon arrival I would absolutely stay here again...last time we stayed at Bardessono (a completely different experience and even more spectacular, but 3 times the cost of Lavender).

The lovely host took me on quick tour and had someone help me with my bags upstairs. You would be surprised how rarely that happened on our trip through Napa. The room was gorgeous. I owned my own cleaning business for 10 years and the level of cleanliness was unparalleled. The carpet was thick and the bed sheets did not have that bleach rough texture you often find in any hotel these days. The courtyard offered a pool and an amazing hot tub surrounded by lounge areas and fire pits. We spent the evening in the hot tub looking at stars and full moon, drinking some wine we picked up along the way. No glass allowed in pool area but they provided plastic wine glasses. The breakfast was sit down style and you selected a few options as part of the package. You could add on for a fee. The English muffin is to die for and domes from local bakery. We stopped at Oakville Grocery on our way and had a nice little charcuterie in our room to snack on. Highly recommend as a stop for treats it's only 6 minutes away. We walked to dinner at Rutherfords Grill that's just across parking lot. You can easily go to the winery near by as well. Overall we were just two girls having a great road trip but I'd recommend this for honeymoon as or romantic getaway as well. Perfect!!

The lady at the front desk, Sue, gave us the grand tour of the inn and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was just ok but the English muffins were really good. The lobby coffee was by far the best. I would love to come back here.

The suites are huge and beautifully done, with a clear emphasis on craftsmanship and small touches that make the space feel special. We especially loved having access to the on‑property hike, which gives you incredible views and a sense of being truly immersed in the landscape. Service was a standout from the moment we arrived. Scott, the GM, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and Maria and Molly were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Breakfast each morning was excellent--plenty of options, thoughtfully prepared--which fit our travel style perfectly since we prefer to head out for lunch and dinner in town. But dinner and lunch are available by request if needed as an additional service. The location is ideal: central to everything in Napa Valley but still serene and tucked away in the hills. We much prefer this intimate inn style over a traditional hotel or big resort, and after this stay, Sttupa Estate is without question our go‑to spot whenever we come back to Napa.

You can borrow bicycles. They greet you with complimentary sparkling wine and cookies upon arrival. In the late afternoon there's a wine and cheese appetizer layout. A couple seating rooms, a balcony with gas fire pit. Just an incredible place to relax. Very close to wineries, tasting, and day spas. The room was nice. We had #7 which is top floor facing Yount St. spacious and nice bathroom. Seating by the window to day dream or read. There was one issue that bugged me a bit... the floor was very creaky. I was so worried of bothering the people below all the time. I gore is to find solid spots to step around, walked gently in my toes, etc, but the creaking persisted. The device as so friendly. Everyone. The breakfast was what I'd call continental plus. Waffles, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruits, and nuts. Plus a cheese and veggie quiche type of dish. Dining area elegantly laid out and delicious food. Nice people stay here too, and we found conversations with a couple couples. I would definitely return to stay again.

There are fruits and vegetables and flowers and just about everything you can imagine in just a beautiful setting. And she is just so proud of what she has and loves nothing more than sharing it with her guests, we know that firsthand. The room itself that we have which is in the cottage House is quaint and simple but really quite comfortable. everything is clean and they are just so attentive for anything you could possibly need or want. As we are not staying in the main house we get a continental style breakfast in the morning and again Mimi goes out of the way to provide freshly baked breads and muffins and fruit that she's picked from her trees and tomatoes that she's picked from her gardens And homemade jams again from the fruits of her garden and does everything possible to make you enjoy yourselves. And this year we have also been fortunate enough for her to provide us with these incredible homemade organic exquisite unusual iced teas again from various ingredients on her property. They are delicious and unlike anything we've ever had. And once again not to be repetitive or redundant, but this is not something that she has to do for us this is something that she wants to do just to share because that's what kind of person she is. Beautiful place beautiful setting beautiful location. no it's not a five-star resort but for what you are getting in this incredible setting it's hard to imagine that every single person that stays here doesn't enjoy it like we do.

I hate to give this review but wanted to let potential guests know that the value didn't equal the price. Ed and Mimi were very nice hosts. The breakfasts were homemade and healthy. Most everything came from their garden. The beds were comfortable and my room was fairly large. The problem is the farmhouse is a little run down. I had ants in my room, the deck was covered in debris from the various trees. Very close to St. Helena off a busy highway. It was not hard to get in and out but it wasn't the quiet place advertised. Again, nice people, the Inn just a bit worn.
