My parents frequent this place for their 6.99 lunch special (taco and enchilada). I had the chicken fajita lunch with no tortillas and extra lettuce (eating low carb). The chicken was very tender and flavorful. Ot was a good sized meal at 10.99. 3 adults and two kids ate for under 45$. Cute atmosphere nice colorful menus and pleasant staff. Best Mexican restaurant food we've had in a looooooooong time. This Queso con carne was hard to stop eating. I ordered the Ranch Special for my entree without peppers. Very good. My SO had the fajita Nachos which was overloaded with green peppers. They must have given him my portion that I didn't want. He didn't complain. If you're passing through this town and stay at the Econo lodge (only hotel that allows dogs) you can walk to the restaurant and get lit! read more

Authentic Mexican food in Belle Fourche!? It's true. As we made our way from San Diego to South Dakota and beyond we found this amazing Mexican restaurant. We both had the Birria Tacos special and it was the best Birria we have had. They also make their own chips and salsa. The salsa has a surprising kick to it. We liked the salsa so much we bought an 8 ounce container. Who knew we would find Jalisco en South Dakota? It was so fun practicing my Spanish with all the staff. So kind! read more

Popular restaurant in Belle Fourche! Good sized dining area for the crowds that make their way here for decent Mexican cuisine. Parking lot is adequate also for the number of diners present on the evening I was passing through the area. I was seated quickly although I was alone behind a small group of diners. Wow! Fantastic service. Best Mexican dinner we've ever had! Incredibly flavorful but not too spicy. We had the Guicho special and the volcano fajitas. Both exceeded expectations. I hate to talk bad about a place but this was terrible!!! It resembled Mexican food and that's about as close as it got.... It's was microwaved Sysco damaged vegetables with Walmart discount meat that would make for better shoe leather then pretty much anything else... Don't get me wrong , there's nothing wrong with Sysco or Walmart discounted/damaged foods if you cook it and care what you're doing... or at least have a stove. I felt like I was in the first part of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares! I hate when you are in a place where nobody has ever really experienced REAL Mexican food and you see a place that looks the part only to find out Taco Bell is more authentic of an experience to Mexican food whatever in the hell this was/is... it should be a crime honestly. Other then that the staff was all very nice. Everything seemed pretty clean except for the men's bathroom which I'm not even going to talk about other then to say the blue porta potty at a construction site is exactly what it reminded of... I'm feeling bad about this terribly honest review because the people were nice and it's probably difficult to get everything you need in Mars, South Dakota, but it can be done and if you can't do it then don't label it as authentic anything let alone Mexican food. read more
