The bakery item I purchased (cake) was stale, loaded with chemicals, and left a strange film and aftertaste in my mouth to the point I couldn't even finish it. The employees are stressed out and spread thin due to insane understaffing (one poor unfortunate soul sweating & doing their best to man the only open register) Ralph's prices are much, much higher for worse quality and smaller portions. The only thing that seemed like it was a good deal was Kombuchas on sale...but once I got to the counter learned the price shown on the shelf required the downloading of an app, the linking of online accounts to other accounts, and an incredibly confusing time-consuming process that in the end GLITCHED and didn't even work! Long story short, I will be making sure to leave earlier and drive the extra miles to continue to go to Trader Joe's instead.
