Take out menu as of 5/21/24

Los Jaliscienses is amazing. It's a market, carniceria, and take-out spot all in one. To order, go straight to the check out counter and order (on your immediate left hand side when you first walk in). Go browse the store or just hang out for a few minutes and they'll holler when it's ready. I've only had the half red/green super deluxe wet burrito and chicken hard tacos (so far) but the food is amazing. Your entree will come with chips and little cups of salsa. I would compare the menu at Los Jaliscenses to El Burrito Jr if they didn't suck. I have very fond memories of LBJ's and have eaten my body weight worth of the Special C but let's be honest with ourselves. Think about your grandma who has dementia but can't help saying mean things to you these days and it's tough spending time with her--you still admire, respect, and love her don't you? You don't just throw out a lifetime of great memories together just because things have changed so of course you still go visit grandma/LBJs. But the food here at Los Jalisciences is for Mexicans, by Mexicans and that is reflected in the amazing taste and good prices. I'll be back for their All Day lunch special for under $10--look at it (the menu) closely.

This place was recommended by our Handy Man who is Mexican and said that if we want authentic Mexican Food, this is one of the places you have to put on your list. I went that very evening and got a variety of tacos and a burrito along with both medium and the spicy salsas. It is a kitchen inside of a market and anyone from the street may not know about this place just like I wasn't. The Spanish Rice is sold by soda cup sizes and actually put in the soda cup when you pick it up. Another tip our Handy Man suggested was to order over the phone in advance because it takes a little while to make or you can order and shop for groceries while waiting. I parked just in front on Hawthorne Blvd which is a busy street so be careful of fast passing cars when you open the drivers side door. They offer delivery services by all the major ones. Not a sit down place but more for pick up or delivery. Prices are very reasonable especially in this economy and it's good to support local businesses.

This is my neighborhood I used to go every week at least three times as in my son I told to order me beef shank but in Spanish it's a different name but as they got confused and they give him rice I went back to the store to claim my money and they said can I give it to me that's fine I just don't want to rice here you go and I order $20 of beef shank in Spanish is chamorro de res but if you don't understand the kid at least send them back with his money to ask again I didn't like the attitude that you're supervisor or lead give me I was nice and polite and I told her I just don't want the rice I can picture the receipt and I'll put you on. I left the rice I just feel sorry for just lost a customer just for $20

I have been ordering the chilaquiles for a couple of weeks now. The flavor is really good , but I keep getting less and less chips and hardly any salsa verde. So sad to have to look for a different place

Bomb!! So good! Not stingy!! I have passed by for years and I've never noticed til now! Found a new spot to eat delicious food! Like other reviews, the food is fresh and made just right! I had a wet burrito, salsa was bomb, lots of meat, my mom had tacos and she said they had lots of meat as well! They have fresh made tostadas they give you with your order! I already know what I want to try for the next round! Also, the service! They were great!! Nice and friendly, fast service... really can't believe I had been missing out all this time.

The carne asada plate is really good! They give you a good portion and has good customer service. I would most definitely recommend.

Do they have meat that you can buy in bulk, either to cook at home or that is already cooked?

Yes, it's a meat market with a small produce area and basic groceries. Meats are fresh and it's super clean. Very nice selection of different cuts and preparations. Very helpful and friendly staff behind the meat counter. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! Recently came here because my friends took me and I was super happy to finally shop here!!!…read moreThis is apparently the largest Japanese market in Gardena (and all of California). It's a very big store that somehow doesn't look as big from the outside, but there are so many things to highlight from here. We were in a city nearby but decided to stop by here because my friends wanted to buy some ingredients. This store was a delight for me as it was so big!!! My favorite section was the many Japanese merchandise of clothes, plushes, and desserts!!! It was super tempting to not buy something haha and I ended up grabbing the box of iconic mango ice cream popsicles!!! It was super yummy and was to my full liking. We ate it straight from the box because we didn't want it to melt in the car ride home. It was super refreshing and delicious. Other highlights was the hot foods bar and lots of Japanese beauty products.

They have a lot of premade food options. Some are decently priced and some are on the pricier side…read more If you go at 7pm or latter they do mark down the sushi and other premade food by 20% off. The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it. I don't know why it seems like every Asian market I've been to is so cramped and hardly any space when trying to get around with a cart. It's the same here.t
