What a lovely stay we had! Accommodations are easy and simple, super clean, and the host Vicky was so incredibly helpful and responsive. The welcome goodies were such a sweet addition. My family/I and friends booked a last minute escape from Los Angeles to relax. We had toddlers, babies, and adults with one dog. I cannot recommend this place enough. The team went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. There are fruit trees on the property, a pond, horses, chickens, and plenty of grass to run around. We were able to get three separate houses for each family and everyone will remember this time. It was close enough to Indio to be able to get food and what we needed but was enclosed and remote enough to feel relaxed. The wifi worked great for remote workers and the property itself is fantastic. I can't wait to go back again. read more

My 12 yo daughter was trying out horses at this center last weekend when she fell off a horse and landed on her head and shoulder. She was unconscious for a bit, was taken to ER where she underwent MRI, MRA, CT scan, etc. A week later she still has slight pain, some memory loss and has seen neurologist and scheduled follow up appointments. Certainly we are responsible parents and we know the risks of having our kids participate in equestrian events What troubles me about this facility is that not one person has extended the courtesy of a phone call to simply ask "is your daughter OK?" Not one person. I have left three VM and two messages on their website...and no reply. So my advice to anyone is "avoid this place" as these people have no courtesy, no compassion, no empathy. They should be ashamed. read more

I just came back from looking at this facility. It's a nice property with decent riding rings with jumps. There's also a race track and a polo field. I was told there was a bridle path around the property, but when I went to look at it, there was cut briar brush with nasty prickers all over the trail. Ouch! What's nice is that the professional riders board one side of the facility and across the way is much quieter barn where the special needs / handicapped adults ride. The woman who takes care of the buildings also gives lessons to older adults who are interested in riding. But if you're a professional rider or a bit more advanced, you'll be put on the other more populated (busy) side. The barns are OLD and in need of repair. But they'll hold up for a winter show season. There is turnout and pasture. But the woman told me the big pasture has rattlesnakes. Some horse got bit and died a couple years ago -- so no horses are supposed to go in that one. The board is $650.00 or $550 depending on if you sign up for lessons. read more
