Sebastian did not offer assistance to find our 14 guests alternative accommodations, he just stopped answering his phone. He also has not been forthcoming about our refund. BEWARE and do not book with this company because you could be screwed. He ruined a vacation and has cost us so much heartache. We are currently filing a claim with VRBO. Search his name and his company. He has already been removed from LA AirBnB.

Great outdoor area, comfortable living space, room for everyone to hang and not be on top of each other. I was particularly impressed with Globe Home and Condos. The renting was easy, the agent who met us was delightful, everything was very above board and easy. I spoke to other places and prices kept changing, extra fees mounted up, it was a bit dicey. One thing Globe Homes does is allow you to buy a $45 insurance policy so you don't have to lay down a huge security deposti. It is great. I also appreciated that they got back to me regarding my inquiry quickly. I had many questions and was debating between a few homes and they always gave me a very prompt reply. Other agencies I've used could take days to get back to me and different agents gave me different answers. Globe Home rents in Palm Springs but I noticed they also rent in Venice, Santa Monica and W. Hollywood which is cool since I live in Hollywood and I would use them to rent a place for friends and family who don't fit at our house. Thanks Globe Homes - you made our Christmas very Merry and Bright.

I stumbled upon it due to purchasing tickets for a recent show that took place in their Disney hall room on the property. Reading up on the smoke tree ranch it's a property that has housed some legendary stars and celebrities over the years. The property consists of homes and a hotel with cottages that span the desert landscape. It appears this property is used to host private events and weddings overall. I didn't stay at the hotel/cottages but it looked very cute and off the grid in the sense that you just come to have some relaxation, hike, and to utilize their different sports facilities on site. The Disney hall was a small little venue but perfect for the event I came for. I liked that they had staff service with some small bites presented and they opened up a bar area in the lounge. Very cute area for hosting small gathering or talks. I really enjoyed this property and will keep my eyes open to see what other events may be held here in the future as the vibes were good and it was a very private, intimate setting.

DON'T FART TOO LOUD!!…read more It was Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, around 9:00 in the evening, and we were a group of 50 year old women having a normal conversation in the pool. We were not loud, and we were not playing any music. The neighbors next door to the right (1966) were the source of the issue. They deliberately came outside to record us, listening in on a private conversation and trying to turn it into something it wasn't. Despite the fact that we were simply talking, we were recorded at the property line, and no sound measurement was ever taken. When we tried to discuss the issue calmly, an employee called the police on us stating "non compliance" and even her own coworker questioned why she did that as it was completely unnecessary. The police were called over a quiet poolside conversation at 9:00 on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. On top of it all, we were hit with a $500 fine for talking in the pool. What made it worse is that we were never given any warning. No one ever came to us and said keep it down, or asked us to move inside, or gave us any chance to adjust. Even after the neighbor complained, which is what started all of this, they skipped straight to putting us out. No conversation, no courtesy, nothing. They just removed us. That was callous, and it showed they were not interested in resolving anything, only in penalizing us. The whole thing felt less like a real noise issue and more like a setup. It is hard not to wonder whether this is part of how they operate: welcome guests in, watch for any excuse, and hit them with fines to pull in extra money on top of the booking. The speed and eagerness to record us, penalize us, and call the police over nothing left us feeling like the fine was the point all along, not our behavior.

The house comfortably accommodated my group of six, with its three spacious bedrooms, and four bathrooms that ensured everyone had their own private space. The beds were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring or lounging by the pool/spa combo. Speaking of the pool, it was an absolute highlight of the property. The inground pool and accompanying spa were immaculately maintained, providing the perfect oasis to cool off during the day or unwind in the evening. The multiple outdoor sitting areas allowed us to soak up the sun, enjoy meals al fresco, or simply relax with a book while appreciating the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape.
