Rain gutter installed by Rancho Rain Gutters. Jakob, Lucas and his team did a great job.

We strongly recommend Jakob and his team. The gutters were installed before the heavy rain. We had a flood before and these rain gutters would prevent water going into the house. Lucas came to make adjustments quickly. They are reliable, responsive and provide high quality results. Thank you for their work.

Rain gutter installed over the front entry landing. Rain poured down like a waterfall. Problem solved!

Very very pleased with our gutter install. Ruben and his partner...did an excellent job installing our gutter. Rancho Rain Gutters was very easy to work with. Large selection of colors to choose from to match your trim and house color. I wanted our downspout to wrap around to the front of our house...because of drainage issues in our backyard. They did exactly what I wanted. It looks fantastic! Their price was very reasonable too. Some companies had a $500 minimum...but RRG was able to do this job for less. Very happy customer!

It took several months to get Rancho Rain Gutters to estimate and then install our new gutters but it was worth the wait. Luis is very professional, goes above and beyond and does great work. I highly recommend Luis and his company. Thank you.

We had Rancho Rain Gutters install Tracey's new gutters. This was to get our Green Point rating on the house.

Could you tell me if you do half round gutters? I built a small shed and I would like to install a 12' section of half round gutter. Thanks.

Hello, we don’t have a half round machine but I can order that from our supplier.

Overall the team all seem to be doing their job and the execution is quick but the lack of customer communication is not up to par for a 50k project. It felt like I was the project manager all the time, following up on schedule, and then calling to verify. I had a feeling that the teams are split and everyone only does their job based on a scope and not as a team. Sometimes, I just want the truth on timing.... Bc Everytime I get a timing commitment, it's delayed and or no show and then also no updates. The project is still on-going with skirting, commissioning wasn't even done , painting of pipes/conduits... so will update accordingly. 8/6/26 : the team swiftly came the next day and finished painting and commissioning so I will add a star. 8/12/26: Just had a constructive discussion with Dayne and Savannah -- overall very positive. While my earlier frustrations were real, the conversation helped me better understand the complexities of the contractor side of the business. I also came away feeling that OC Solar genuinely puts care and attention into each project. The project isn't fully complete yet (inspections, skirting, and a few other items remain), but the overall execution moved at lightning speed and exceeded my own expectations. At the end of the day, it's the final result that counts so I will increase it to 5 stars.

OMG thank you Van Lund Roofing!!! On Friday November 14th…read morelate afternoon the rain was pouring all of a sudden we saw water dripping from my daughter's bedroom ceiling. Our house isn't that old so I was totally shocked... until I remembered we had solar panels installed few years ago. Pretty sure the installers must've cracked a few tiles walking around up there. I snapped some pictures of the leak, sent out quote requests on Yelp, and James from Van Lund replied almost instantly -- said he could be here 7 a.m. Saturday. Most other places couldn't come until Monday and more rain was coming all weekend, so that wasn't happening. James showed up right on time, found four cracked tiles letting water in, tarped everything perfectly on the spot. It poured cats and dogs Sat-Mon and we didn't get another drop inside. As soon as the rain stopped Tuesday morning, the crew was back. Replaced the broken tiles, sealed everything up, and they were done in 4-5 hours. Roof looks great and they cleaned up like they were never here. Super professional, honest, crazy-fast response, fair price, and they saved us from major water damage. James and the team were awesome to deal with. If you have a roof leak call Van Lund. Priced right and total lifesavers!! 100% recommend!!

We were fortunate to have Ruben G. as our Account Manager.  Ruben was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable -- carefully listening to my questions and concerns and also sharing knowledge so I could better understand the phases of installation. Throughout the entire process - from design to permits, documentation to electrical requirements, we communicated with the various SolarMax team members to make sure we understood what the next steps would be. Every team member was courteous and competent, all of them did their part to complete our solar panel and battery project. We are happy with the service and expertise SolarMax has provided us and would recommend them to friends who are considering solar energy.  To Ruben - our renewed thanks!  We appreciate you for your work. To the entire SolarMax team - thank you for making this happen!

A warranty means nothing when the company fails to provide service…read more We made a substantial financial investment in a solar system that was sold with a warranty. Now that the system is not working properly, SolarMax says its service appointments are booked months out. When we explained that we could not continue waiting while paying high Edison bills, they suggested hiring an electrician at our own expense. Customers should not have to choose between waiting months for service and paying out of pocket to repair a system that is still under warranty. SolarMax should stand behind its product and provide timely service. Their service department has been extremely frustrating. We have repeatedly been promised return calls that never came, and some of the service representatives we have dealt with have been rude and dismissive. Meanwhile, our solar system remains down, and we continue paying for electricity every month. It also appears that service may be different depending on whether you purchase or lease your system. When a leased system stops producing, the solar company loses money and has a financial reason to repair it quickly. Once you purchase your system and the company has already been paid, it feels as though you are "put out to pasture" when service is needed. Also: READ THE FINE LINES: Before signing a contract, carefully read every detail and make sure every promise or guarantee is included in the signed agreement. Do not rely solely on assurances made through emails or conversations. Our experience has shown us that what is promised before the sale may not be honored afterward. We love having solar and are glad we installed it. We simply wish we had chosen a company that stood behind its product, honored its warranty, and responded quickly when its customers needed service. We lost our solar in the hottest months of 2026 and still don't see it being fixed any time soon.
