They take the time to explain every medication and make sure you feel completely informed. If I could give this place 20 stars I would! Just when I thought mom and pop pharmacies were a thing of the past, I discover this rare gem of a pharmacy.    I filled my prescriptions here while going through a particularly difficult fertility procedure.  Anyone who has been through fertility treatment knows you have to take A LOT of medication. My questions were thoroughly answered, and I always left feeling confident in managing all my medications. They also have good prices (on par with other discount pharmacies), but what really makes them stand out is the care, compassion, and attentive service they provide. The staff always treated me like a member of the family! They are lovely people, who genuinely talk and connect with you as a person, not just a number. They are such a bright spot in my health care team. Seriously, when I tell you this place is the real deal, I mean it.  I gladly travel 30+ minutes to fill my prescriptions at RSF Pharmacy. read more

Jason and the rest of his staff are angels. Not only have they helped me in every step of a long fertility journey - last night at 8:00 I realized I was short on medicine and forgot to pick up the rest of my doses. I called their emergency number and Jason and his brother rushed to the pharmacy to meet me and get me what I needed. This is a long road and it requires an army to get through and I feel so incredibly lucky to only live 15 minutes away from this amazing place. This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever encountered with NO customer service. When Gelsons closed down I transferred my prescriptions here because I liked the smaller pharmacy and thoroughness of the pharmacy technicians. What a shock to find out they do NOT let you know when your prescription is filled, have told me I had no prescriptions available on the phone and when I showed up a week later (positive I must have had at least 1 ready), was told they had been reshelved after 14 days. After 3 months of this lazy and loathsome lack of customer service, I changed to a large chain pharmacy. Not surprising, Rancho Santa Fe pharmacy only transferred half of my prescriptions requiring a call to my Drs to call the new pharmacy. Honestly, this place would have been shut down long ago if not for location. read more

I just ordered my IVF meds from Rancho Santa Fe pharmacy after doing a price comparison with Carrot Rx's pharmacy (Schraft's 2.0) - the savings were very significant (about 25% cheaper than Schraft's). For anyone doing IVF and paying out of pocket, you'll know how expensive the procedures and medication are, so it was wonderful to realize I could save money on the medications. Pricing aside, the owner/pharmacist Jason was incredibly helpful in not only explaining the difference between/benefits of each of the drug options, but also fulfilling my order quickly to be sent out for next day delivery. It's wonderful to interact with businesses who genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to help make the stressful experience of going through IVF a little easier. Highly, highly recommend these guys. The location isn't always the most convenient (though we're not super far), but the service is impeccable. They're patient, kind and attentive. Brian, in particular, has gone far above and beyond to make sure we understand all our instructions, doses and any other tips we should know. He has never rushed us, never acted like we're an inconvenience, and consistently encourages us to call him or come in if further questions or problems arise. Jason and his staff are the support team you need while going through IVF. Brian takes the time to explain every injection and medication and makes sure all of your questions are answered. He always reminds me that if I forget or need help during the shots just to call and they'll be there to help. I emailed them one evening around 9:30 and Jason called me promptly after to follow up. It wasn't an emergency but he still took my inquiry as serious as if it were. They have always filled prescriptions very quickly when needed. Sometimes you get little warning as to when you need to do your next shot and they are on top of getting the medication to you ASAP so you don't mess up your cycle. Jason and his staff are wonderful to work with. It is rare to encounter a pharmacist that is more invested in your well-being than your physicians. Fertility medications are notoriously expensive, difficult to come by, and extremely time-specific. Jason personally ran to FedEx to make a shipment drop off time, and was rewarded with FedEx shipping medication to the wrong state. He handled not only the refund, but offered to persuade another pharmacy to price-match his lower medication cost. Our insurance's pharmacy didn't mail the medicine on time...in the IVF scheme is a no-no. We called Jason right after 5pm( I was surprised how quick they picked up especially since they were technically closed). When I made the decision to freeze my eggs - due to my age and my Stage IV Endometriosis - I knew it was the right decision... but I was still a little trepidatious. Excellent service! As someone who has worked customer service and still am, I know crisis usually happens 15 minutes prior to closing and usually puts any business to the test. Well, I was one of those people who called 15 minute prior to closing on a Saturday because I was silly enough to accidentally left my medication in the car and had to get new ones, ASAP! When I called, Jason was really sympathetic and came up with a solution with me as I was in a bit of a panic. As I was on the phone with him, he told the pharmacy technician and pharmacist what happen and they got my replacement med ready while I was still on the phone! 2 minutes to closing! Then he drove the drug personally to Fedex so I can get it Monday morning in Boston since I had to travel for work. We spent months of preparation prior to our travel to San Diego to begin IVF procedures in a fertility clinic. Upon reading the email from our fertility clinic late in the day that we were supposed to collect our meds from Santa Fe Fertility Pharmacy and commence injections the same day, we realise the pharma was closing in 10 mins. We went into panic mode and called them immediately - we were so luck that Jason picked the phone and was so kind to offer to stay back and wait for us together with the pharmacist Bryan. We were at least 30 mins late past closing time. Without these super people and kind souls , our months of IVF preparations and travels to US would have gone down the drain. 100/100 for Jason and Bryan for going the extra mile for us. In addition Jason made himself available for questions in the event we have questions during the injections and medication. What a super person! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! RSF pharmacy has exceeded my expectations in numerous ways; from their impeccable customer service to their professionalism to their knowledge of medications. There is no reason to call any other pharmacy or go anywhere else. They not only match prices, but they beat them. Besides that, the customer service they provide to ensure you're comfortable with what you're getting and are satisfied is unprecedented. Prior to calling RSF, I had called at least 5 other pharmacies to get pricing for meds that I needed and it felt like I was talking to a robot that only read me the prices and then asked when I want to place an order. This is by far the BEST pharmacy I've ever been to in all of Southern California! Or anywhere else, for that matter. These guys go above and beyond for their customers. I've been working and moving back and forth between LA and San Diego, and they have worked way outside the box to accommodate my schedule, including waiting outside for me with my medications after hours because I couldn't make it there by close, and delivering straight to my parents' doorstep along with detailed instructions on everything. Very very friendly staff! Jason is the to go person! He goes out of the way to make sure the meds are delivered to you on time. I had such a stress free time with my medication delivery because of their efforts and helpfulness. They make sure you have the meds that you need and you don't even miss a single day. Jason even went out of the way to make sure I get my meds delivered by Monday. I called him on Saturday at 2pm (they were supposed to be closed) but he answered my call. They were closing in an hour and the gentleman clerk offered to take my package to fedex on his way home which was out of his way.
