I began an implant procedure in October 2024. The periodontist clearly stated a 3-5 month healing window before the next phase. It's now nearly June 2025--and not only has my follow-up been delayed, I've been rescheduled four times without proper explanation. Yesterday, I received yet another call pushing my appointment back by another month--this time due to an unexplained "emergency." That's the fourth cancellation, with zero accountability. Ironically, when I had to reschedule an unrelated appointment (due to a family emergency), I was warned I'd be charged 25% of the appointment cost if I didn't give 24 hours' notice. I did call and leave a message the day prior and followed up the day of to try to work something out. Their double standard is appalling. The front desk and management are completely unhelpful, disengaged, and frankly, dismissive. The staff lacks basic communication skills and empathy--qualities that are non-negotiable in any medical environment. While the doctors may be skilled, the operational failure and lack of professionalism at this office overshadows everything. I will not be returning. And I will be escalating this to the district manager immediately.

When I asked for my records to be forwarded to a new dental office, they first told me the new office was in their corporate group so the new dental office can access it on their shared cloud (which wasn't true when I checked with the new office), then that told me that they sent it (which also wasn't true when I checked my email and received only a few xrays when I've been their patient for the past several years. They were problematic even before this last incident. When I had oral surgery, the surgeon told me they could put me under and it'd be covered by insurance. I trusted him and went ahead. I called to make him an appointment a few days later, and when we got there, the facility was beautiful and clean, and the waiting area has freshly baked cookies and water. The assistant showed him to the waiting room, and on the way showed us all of the certifications of the doctors, their modern machine that can do same-day crowns, and gave a free reusable water bottle filled with some gum, drink powder, and chapstick. I was very impressed and assumed that the experience would be great. However, my partner had a very bad experience. The appointment was for 1020am, and they did the x-ray, then he waited an hour, and then they did the exam and told him he had to come back to do the cleaning and the earliest opening was in two hours. How disrespectful of people's time to assume they can come in two visits. Why couldn't they do the cleaning during this hour where they had him waiting for nothing? They never told us when I made the appointment that it was broken up into two visits - in California for these new patient specials they always do it in one visit. So then he went back a few days later for the cleaning and it was HORRIBLE. Usually there is a dentist who cleans, and then an assistant who mans the suction, but this was one lady doing it all herself. She was not communicative (usually they tell you when they're doing the suction, when to close your mouth, etc, she said nothing) nor detailed (she jumped around from a left tooth to a right tooth when usually they go sequentially), and an overflow of saliva built up in his mouth. Then she POKED his lip with the sharp pick point and didn't even apologize!!! And she was scraping a tooth and missed and scraped his mouth!! Ugh!! How is this person allowed to even clean people's teeth? I'm very disappointed that we didn't get to experience the good dentists that other people refer to in their reviews. My partner was in shock after the appointment and said it was the worst teeth cleaning experience he's ever had. The fact that they have this incompetent tooth cleaner to where they hurt you is unforgiveable. Definitely will not be going back.
