The owner stopped by the table and conversed a few other times he was walking by. Their complimentary chips and salsa are heavenly. The chips have a southwest seasoning of sorts, and the salsa is not your typical salsa... but a few bars above. We also ordered queso. It was TO DIE FOR. I need to go back already for more chips and dip. My fiancé ordered the tacos... his three were carne asada, adobo grilled shrimp, and the pork belly. He struggled to pick a favorite. He loved the sauce on the pork belly, and decided the carne asada was his favorite. I went with the shrimp fajitas. Very good sized meal. The shrimp were delicious. The Mexican rice was a bit different than usual Mexican rice... seemed more like a blend of other grains, and instead of your typical refried beans, they were just straight up pinto. LOTS of food. We went home beyond stuffed, and still wanting more chips.

It looked like there were only about 3 tables seated at the time and a few people at the bar. The restaurant has a cool vibe with bright colors and a VW bus in the middle that you can sit in! So neat! We chose to sit outside on the patio, which was a nice option to have. Once seated we were brought our menus and shortly there after complimentary chips and salsa. We each ordered a drink, one was a non-alcoholic grapefruit jalapeno refresher and the other was an alcoholic watermelon basil margarita. The NA one unfortunately didn't have any heat or flavor at all of the jalapeno in the actual drink, but it was ok. My friend enjoyed his watermelon drink, but only had one because it was a bit sweet. We ordered the Pozole Rojo, shrimp taco trio and shrimp fajitas. The Pozole Rojo was great and definitely my favorite part of the meal. It had a lot of pork in it and I enjoy the hominy corn, which you don't see on many menus. My friend really enjoyed the shrimp as did I; it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The beans that came with the fajita were quite bland, which was disappointing. All in all, I would give them another shot.

I do wish everything had been grilled just a little bit more for that extra char, but it didn't take away from how much I enjoyed it. Also tried the queso and it was a little watery but ok good to eat. We were greeted right away at the door and told to sit anywhere, which made things feel super relaxed Our server was attentive throughout and checked in just the right amount. One thing to note, the online menu is not even close to what they actually offer in the restaurant. There are so many more options in person! As someone who likes to plan ahead, I really wish their online menu was updated because I would've loved to look everything over beforehand. Overall, good experience, tasty food, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

After a quick flex over the border into Canada (just to say we did), we swung by this spot... and wow. Certified sleeper hit. Place is super nicely decorated -- warm, cozy, "yes I am a responsible adult who eats at respectable places" vibes. Service? So good it was borderline rude. Like, relax bestie, how are you reading my mind and delivering everything before I even know I want it? Absolutely elite. And the food? When I say quick, I mean lightning-fast like they had a plate waiting for each of us before we even sat down. Flavor was on point, portions were perfect -- not "I need a nap," not "where's the rest?" Just right. Drinks? Cold. Like "Canadian winter sponsored this ice" cold. Bathrooms? Super clean but a little tight, so let's keep it real -- handle your "big jobs" at home before you pull up. This is not the arena for extended performances. All in all, this place slaps. Great food, great vibes, great service. Would 10/10 hit again on our next Buffalo run.

They also had World Cup games playing on a few of the TVs, so if you're looking for good food and good soccer, you're covered. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently outstanding. The chips and salsa are always fresh, the guacamole is always on point, even for someone like me who generally doesn't eat it much, and the carne asada tacos are the real deal, served with fresh pico and a solid side of rice and beans. If you're in the Niagara Falls area and want a great Mexican meal with genuine hospitality, give this place a shot.

And that's for the first on the waiting list. We departed with another person who wasn't going to wait, and turning the corner to the side lot, the man beside us sees a backing out vehicle bump his car! The least they could do is plow their parking areas!! It'll be a loooong time before we return here!!
