I am not sure why it is called salad, as it is really orange jello with pineapple bits. Yet there it was, nestled amongst the potato salad and egg salad, next to the rotisserie chicken. It was enjoyed that same evening and my patient sank back onto the pillows, the post-surgery pain a little more bearable.
