Rear ended 11/6/25. Hurt, concussion, wrist in cast, very banged up. Car totaled. I live in LA, CA. I was in a lot of pain and very overwhelmed. My dad is a friend (co-owner) of Rand's Auto Sales. Andy Patterson. In an attempt to help me, dad reached out to Randy (co-owner) for help. Found a Honda 2019 Honda HRV 89,000 miles for same price my insurance paid for my totaled car. Andy's brother insisted I overnight the checks even though day before Thanksgiving (x 2 cheeks). I did, although holidays would delay receipt. I have an email from 11/22/25 from Andy stating car to be shipped within 2 days. Never shipped. Delay after delay. Questions went unanswered. Andy offered to waive shipment fee of $500. My progressive insurance cut off my rental payments 3 days after check cut. Again, Andy did not answer questions re: shipment of car, nor whether there were 2 key fobs etc. texts and calls went answered. I spent over $1,000.00 out of my pocket in rental car fees. My credit union would only release half of the amount compensated immediately. I agreed to pay the price and in all honesty Andy agreed to ship car for 1/2 and to ship when received, holding onto other half until it would clear in approval 10 days. Shipped immediately. I did not receive car until l0:30 pm on 12/18. Of course I took it for a test drive. Within 20 miles, the check engine light went on, there was a fiery smell and the car wouldn't accelerate more than 30 mph. Exited next exit. Waited 1.5 hours for a tow. Dropped off at my mechanic approx 1.5 hours later. Rand's auto permitted my trusted mechanic to do diagnostics. Rand's said, "faulty spark plugs". My mechanic of 30 years stated, "very deep extensive engine problems". Andy Patterson agreed to undo the transaction and while he took weeks to send car from UT to me. He picked up car the very next day to be returned to his dealership. Refused to pay for my tow nor a few days of rental car as I had to start over. He assisted my parents to their satisfaction to obtain their car. Me, not so much. read more

On 07/03/17, I was involved in a traffic accident with my wife and child. A week later I went to Rand's to purchase another Toyota Prius Plug-in, as we had purchased a 2012 in 2016. The accident was not our fault, 17 year old distracted driver t-boned us. The 2012 was totaled, but we were all alive! I called explained my situation and was told they had a few plug-ins available. I went down put a hold on one and contacted the insurance company. Awesome experience the second time as well, from beginning to end. Newer Prius, less miles, a few thousand dollars more but well worth it for the money I save running around the city on mostly electric. When not in the city I average 69 MPG. Anyway, great group of people, no pressure, no hassles, no mark ups. Just an honest dealer. Thanks for selling me a quality vehicle that did not fall apart when it was in an accident. And again for the second vehicle, when I needed a replacement and needed it right away. read more

I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Rand's. As a returning customer, I expected the same level of care and service I'd received in the past, but that wasn't the case this time. I test-drove a car on Friday and was ready to purchase it once an issue with the lights and windshield wipers was fixed. The sales rep told me they'd look at it on Monday and let me know what the issue was. Instead, I had to find out on my own that the car had already been sold. There was no communication from the dealership (even followed up with them on Saturday) to let me know it had been fixed or that it was even back on the market. It felt like they prioritized making a quick sale over respecting a returning customer's interest and time. I understand things can get busy, but a simple update would have gone a long way. This experience made me feel like my loyalty didn't matter, which is disappointing. read more

I had been looking for a 2021-2022 Audi Q7 Prestige with low miles, Black Optic, body color either in Gray or Blue; came across one on Rand's website (via one of the many auto sites), reach out to them and was connected to Corbin. Corbin was very respondent and answered my question. It was nice to work with a dealer that does not add after-market items that hick up the price from the advertised price. They do have a spendy DOC fee compared to what dealers charge in my area. With Corbin I was able to arrange a money wire, I took care of the car being picked up by a transport (highly recommend airryd.com for that), Corbin let me know when the car was picked and where I would find the paperwork inside the car. I have purchased many cars over the years, but this experience had to be the smoothest. Women may be intimidated walking onto a car lot ALONE, fearing a high-pressure sales pitch and confusing jargon or hidden fees but that was not the case for me at Rand's. CORBIN was great to work with, helpful and transparent without being pushy. After visiting three other dealerships, I returned to Rand's because nobody could beat their prices. Their no-haggle approach eliminates the dreaded back and forth game we've all experienced. No surprise fees tacked on at the end, and I even got a discount on an extended warranty. We were nervous buying a car from distance, but Matt help walk us through the process and kindly tolerated our concerns about buying from out of state. He was very respectful and responsive. I just bought my third car from Rand's. I picked a car that I liked, and put some money on it to hold the car while I lined up my financing. I then had second thoughts about the car in terms of how it would meet our needs and wanted to switch to a different car. My salesman, Al Barlow, didn't bat on eye or give me a scowl. He just said, "We want you to drive away in a car that you like." They quickly reserved the other car choice while I lined up financing. Al and Rand's is so easy to work with.
