I had a great experience with Randy - installing a lift and new steering components on my 2020 Gladiator. Randy was very transparent with his suggestions and didn't mind that I supplied my own parts. I've been going to Randy for at least 16 years. He first lifted a Dodge Ram for me, followed by my 2012 Jeep and now he's been helping me work on my 2019 Chevy Trail Boss. He's the go to guy for Suspension, Gears, Lockers and any off road accessory. He has installed on my current Chevy a after market front bumper and winch with lighting and a under the passenger seat ARB air compressor. He doesn't shy away from installing bumpers he's never worked with. He can make it work and custom fit things if needed. Very detailed on the little things like trimming only what's needed in the wheel wells etc. When it comes to prices he is a fair man. Respect his time! I read a review from a guy complaining about not getting a straight price. There's some things that can be quoted like installing gears or replacing your shocks. There's other things like having him install a front bumper he's never assembled before and can't tell you how long it'll take. I can tell you from experience, I trust him, he's fair, he won't cheat you or over charge you. I've left my truck there plenty of times without getting a quote and have always left satisfied with his price once he's done. No need to fear being ripped off here. I recently purchased a lifted truck instead of helping me with simple answers you'll be met with condescending tone and a smugness given to customers. Guess who's back, back again!! I break it, Randy and Steve fix it. I first met Randy back in 1999 and was impressed with his rigs and off road skills in Azusa Canyon. First became a customer when he lifted my Dodge Ram in 2005 and have been coming ever since. I now own and 2012 JK and I would trust any other person or shop with it. Randy is not only knowledgable and straight forward with you but he is also very personable and genuinely cares about his customers. He saved me money on my Garvin bumpers since he is an authorized dealer as well. He's replaced my front driveshaft, stabilizer shock, lift, bumpers, gears and now he's about to redo my rear end and rear driveshaft. There's nothing he can't fix in house. Excellent excellent craftsman who knows his trade well. Most of the stuff I've damaged he's warned me about months or more in advance as potential issues due to all the aftermarket upgrades. I called in to get a quote on rebuilding some Total Chaos upper control arms and some Icon shocks for my Toyota Tacoma. After speaking to Randy not only did I think the price was fair but I decided to get the suspension installed by him. Randy was very responsive and accurate with his estimates time of installation. When I went to pick up my truck I wasn't completely satisfied with the height level. Randy suggested adjusting the front shocks and adding blocks to the rear to level the truck. Went today to get an estimate for a lift for my 2018 F250, hoping to book something at Randy's in the very near future. I was referred by someone that had gotten some work done at Randy's, who had told me that Randy had fair prices. I took an estimate with all the parts that I wanted for a Carli lift instead of starting from scratch by explaining what I wanted and wasting Randy's time. Randy looked at my list DECLINED to provide me and estimate and asked me, (your looking for the cheapest, I said no I just want a reasonable price. He asked, if his estimate was more will I not do the work at Randy's). My estimate was $13,000 at another shop, which I thought was way to high, that's why I hoping to get it done at Randy's for a reasonable price, NOT FREE. I don't really understand his business practice. I guess he does not need the business. I don't recommend Randy's with his questionable business practice. Great place with good people who do excellent work at fair prices. I took my stock 4wd SUV in for some work (rear-end going bad). I gave them every opportunity to do more work than necessary and/or charge me more than what was fair. ok i have a tahoe with 17" lift 44 tire rand helped with new front d60 axel i bought randy did not test articulation and was 1.5" trvel on front drive shaft with 9" movement on springd went 500 ft in azusa canyon and used transfer case as bump stop broke the back of transmission off completly i only paid him 4070.00 so he felt he was not responsable for not doing the work he claims he is so all knowing his respons was classic i didnt know it would move that much & i guess i should have used a long travel drive shaft if i could i would take it somewhere else and now it is read more
