A bunch of regulars saying hi to each other as they walk in. All that said, big loss to a great place as one of their own staples is leaving. Jessica was kind, friendly, knew the place and kept it all going and losing her will undoubtedly will have this cafe, take a hit. Randy's is going to miss this gem.

Big mistake. 1) it's in the basement of an old folk's home and so it felt odd like we didn't belong, 2) it took over a half an hour to get our food, 3) some of our food was hot, some of it was warm, and some of it was cold. We were afraid to send any of it back because it could take another half hour, 4) the taste of the food ranged from mediocre at best to downright bland and awful, 5) the system for putting away your plates and trays is odd. When we had looked at photos of the menu beforehand, we thought this place would be like Kneaders. This is nothing like Kneaders. Stay far away from this place.

When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.

I brought my husband to the "original" to redeem the name after horrible food and service at the Clifton location. Well, I think they all suck now. This was my favorite place years ago but some things go down hill without the owner present. We walked in and a server was sitting at the bar on her cell phone and yelled across at us "special is on the board pick a clean table" we then sat for 15 mins without being acknowledged. The server continued to sit at the bar on her cell phone. I finally got up and found the stack of menus to get them. Another server then walked around checking the other tables and refilled all coffees...we still have not been acknowledged. I waved at her and asked if we could get service and pointed out how terrible it looks to have an employee sitting at the bar on her phone "greeting" people and then leaving them sit for over 15 mins. She said "I'll let Randy know". Sorry Randy, your place used to be amazing years ago but the service sucks at all locations and the food quality has gone down as well. Maybe you should close a location so you can focus on quality vs quantity. read more

We love going to Randy's, it's that old school, small town diner feeling you get when you first walk in, everyone is real friendly and welcoming. The food is sooooo good, the portions are very generous and the prices are unbeatable. If your in for breakfast, the omelettes are amazing! If they are busy, you may have to wait a few for a table, but the wait is worth it!!! read more

I have never had a bad meal here. I've spent many mornings here. It's a locally owned diner that gives generous proportions and the food is good. I love going here on the weekends even though it's their busiest time. It's worth the wait. read more

I added a single stack of blueberry pancake for $8.99;. My server, Chandra said it was large. What an understatement!! It was 12in wide and had it's own larger platter. Chandra provided 4 softened butter tubs and lots of maple syrup. Lots of blueberries. So I paced myself and ate it all. By 9am, they were 1/2 full and I noticed a few takeout orders. They have their own parking lot with trees for shade. No patio. Two gender free restrooms.

When we first walked in the hostess greeted my friends like they were family. You could tell that she knew the kids and that the kids knew her so they went there often enough. She already knew what the kids like to drink and said she would grab it right away. They also offer wooden toys for the kids to play with throughout their meal.
