Mesa: towering pancake sandwich, three pancakes layered with two strips of bacon, two sausage patties or links and topped with two eggs!
Linda L.

Love hitting up new diners when traveling. Stopped here for a bite to eat en route to the airport, and holy moly was it ever good! They're known for their breakfast, so naturally that's what we all got. Ordered the Mesa (you gotta see the photo to believe it!), Blueberry Pancakes, French Toast Combo and a Veggie Omelet. Let me just say, now we definitely know why they're known as Grand Junction's best breakfast spot in town! Everything was so dang flavorful, plentiful and down right delicious! Service was also great...Tammy was friendly, professional and took awesome care of us! Highly recommend!

First time here; was a pleasant experience. The food was very filling, almost couldn't finish. Would recommend to anyone. My favorite thing was the steak and eggs was a normal steak not the thin steak I have had at a lot of breakfast places.

We were in town for a swim meet at Colorado Mesa University and thought we would stop in for breakfast at Randy's Southside diner. Everyone was super nice to us when we were in there and I ordered the full French toast meal and it was really good! My mother-in-law, who came along is not known for eating her entire meal, but she did which says a lot about the food! Nice job!!

South Southside Breakfast Burrito is so good I loved it

I usually go in to have breakfast in the mornings. Full order of biscuits and gravy w Cholula hot sauce. Always hits the spot for me! The staff are all very nice and polite. Cooks are awesome and consistent from my experience. Tip them 15-20% of the whole price it makes a difference and it's just the right thing to do! If you get it you get it if you don't you don't

Vegi omelette/ egg whites with fruit

I stopped by this local restaurant for breakfast during my travels and just love these great spots. I usually order breakfast without hash browns and toast and sometimes my unique requests can be a pain on trying to substitute... but my waitress Elisa said this is no ~~~trouble~~~at all... I got fruit for a small up charge which I'm totally cool with. My omelette, fruit and coffee was delicious and Elisa was even nice enough to make me a hot coffee to go for my long drive. I'm from Las Vegas and the quality of food and service I received by Elisa was top notch. Her friendly personality and engagement makes me want to return to this great place.Elisa's professionalism and sense of humor made my morning. I can tell a lot of the patrons are regulars and that's says a lot. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, and if you're lucky enough to live in Grand JCT., then you have a great spot and I'm jealous. I would for sure be a regular. Thank you for a great breakfast and service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Mountain of food. Oatmeal, eggs, pancakes.

What a cute place! When I arrived on a Thursday night it was POPPIN and they had live music which…read morewas a super fun vibe. You go to the counter to order and then find a spot where you can. They had plenty of outside area (a patio with seating and some open space where you can enjoy a drink while waiting to find a seat somewhere) which was perfect for me because I got a cocktail and Togo food. Lots of people had raved about the Massaman katsu curry so I had to try it! It did not disappoint! At first I was disappointed to see how full the bowl was but the amount was PLENTY! I was stuffed after a few corn and about half the curry plate. I am so happy I tried this place out! Will definitely be trying it again when I'm back in town!

I also really appreciated that they had hard kombucha on tap, which was a unique and welcome option for me. I spent most of my time out on the outdoor patio, which is very nice and was filled with lots of people hanging out, making for a really lively and fun environment. However, my biggest complaint about this place was that the food was pretty bad; while I understand that it's primarily just a brewery, I was still quite disappointed by the quality, especially since the menu items were not cheap. Come for the beers, skip the food and same yourself some dough figuratively and literally.

This used to be one of our favorite local breakfast spots, but it's really gone downhill. Service…read moreis minimalist by design, ambiance and decor are nice but dark & dreary during the winter months due to the lighting. I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.

The greens added a little kick, the onions perfectly sliced; almost paper thin. The green chiles cut into little morsels add that Smokey bit we crave when we think of fiesta style foods. There were bits of queso fresco crumbled over the whole thing, giving that tang. Even the brown rice was treated with the utmost respect and has the most amazing flavor and hearty texture! Lastly, I'm sure someone back there made that citrus crema from scratch and I basically licked that little ramekin clean! Thank you, thank you! A stop anyone in Junction will not regret!

Prior to arriving in Grand Junction, I had looked up dinner options and the menu for this place…read morelooked really interesting. So we stopped by on a Monday evening for dinner. This is very much an American version of an Irish pub - basically an American bar with all sorts of green everywhere. The hostess was welcoming until she went to seat us at the table right next to the door when there was tons of open seating. So I asked for a different table and she seemed put off by the request. Our server was Brittney and she took our order. I ordered the Highlander Sliders and hubby ordered the Irish Stew and the Malted Vinegar Chips. I checked to be sure the sliders would be well done. When our food arrived, it all looked fairly good. The sliders were burnt, though. Well done doesn't equate to charring the outsides. They were dried out because of that but the sauce they use helped. They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. Overall this was somewhat of a let down. I was really looking forward to a good dining experience but they missed the mark.

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.
