Late review but will definitely help someone trying to pick right dentist. My last few experiences - first Dr Rane messed up my root canal causing infection within 2 days and i was asked to go to a specialist to remove the filling which was an added $200 out of pocket expense. The specialist showed me the xray how the filling was not done right causing infection. But Dr Rane refused to accept her mistake. Next she kept ignoring pain in my other tooth stating everything is fine finally leading to another root canal. All money ripping. This year she has shown her total lack of interest in her patients and profession. I had scheduled an appointment with her just to realize that she is not available as she is busy doing a beauty contest and the problem is that no one from staff cared to inform to change the appointment till the day i reached there to find it out myself. What is the point of picking a dentist when they will behind the back schedule you with whoever is available. Then no appointments were available for another 3-4 months because she was and is still busy vacationing and doing her fashion shows. I also saw her social media post where she said as a Mrs Universe (which i believe she is not) and a Dentist her smile is important. How can a dentist identify her self as beauty contestant first and dentist later. Definitely lack of interest is seen this. I have been here a couple of times and the staff is very professional and competent. Always giving you a call to remind you about your appointment as well as sending a reminder by post. This last time the place wasn't as clean as you would expect but they are undergoing renovations. I have never had to wait at all before seeing the dentist. My dentist is very pleasant. What else is there to say there is a little discomfort but that is standard with any dentist. read more

I went to this place twice. The first visit (2015), the work she did was okay at the time, but the filling and work she did not as long as I am used too -- less than a year. Also the dental bonding she did was off and I had to come back the next day to get it corrected. She looked and reacted as if I was crazy. The fix was free of charge of course. Second visit (2019), was just for a quick cleaning and a simple dental bond on a chipped tooth with a different dentist. It was a last min appointment and 5 mins from where I live. I also didn't have dental insurance at the time and they have a pretty good deal for people (they provide their own annual insurance plan/discount plan for a fee) The cleaning felt like she was pulling or ripping my teeth apart, but was thorough... i guess. The dental bonding was also bad. I had to ask her to fix it 3-4 times until it was symmetrical and passable before I left. No surprise, both her and her assistant (who wore glasses), looked and acted as if I was nuts when I said they need to correct the shotty job they did with the tooth bonding (Like whats the point of getting bonding done if it looks like you tooth is still chipped... am I right??). When I came home -- I noticed she knicked the bottom corner of the tooth implant I had done in another practice. It was a quite expensive implant and I should definitely do something about it, but never got around to do something about it -- I've been busy (hence the late review). Plus the knick is very insignificant (they probably would deny it and I didn't have the time and energy to go back there at the time)... its just unbelievable she would do that out of anger, frustration, annoyance, or whatever. I have a feeling it was intentional. If I could give this review negative stars I would. They should all start performing their dental work with a blind fold. Definitely not worth the prices they charge as well. Strongly recommend you stay away from this place. read more

Our family has been coming to Dr. Rane's practice for years and this review is long pending. The hygienists are very personable and make you feel at ease while you're on the dental chair. A routine cleaning and oral exam feels like a visit to a luxury salon in some sense. One leaves with a clean fresh feeling and bright pearly whites. Both Dr. Rane and Dr. Lee are very thorough with screenings and gentle when it comes to treatments. Even the much dreaded root canal treatment was painless for one of us. Today's visit was a special circumstance and involved an aging parent who needed to be anesthetized. The office team did a phenomenal job with scheduling the visit, coordinating with the anesthesiologist (Dr. Atlas) and providing us with updates and important information in the days leading up to the appointment. She performed malpractice on me, and has done this to others on a regular basis. When I went to see her, she claimed I had 10 cavities and filled all of them in one sitting. I told my former dentist about this and he was shocked given that he had just taken my X-rays a few months ago. When I asked Ranee for my pre-filling X-rays she refused to provide them, and we therefore refused to pay. She didn't seem to care and to this day has not provided me with those X-rays. I have spoke to others who have seen her also and they have said she saw a large number of cavities, however, when they asked for a second opinion at another dentist - ZERO cavities have been found. I walked in to Rane's Dental scared of not only the pain but the hit to my wallet. Not only welcomed in with open arms and zero judgement. Nidhi met with me before each appointment to make sure I understood my treatment plan. (Even if that meant explaining things to me 2 or 3 times) With an extensive dental plan in place Nidhi worked with me to make a financial plan to match. Throughout this process she has taught me the value in dental insurance, coaching my throughly how to select the right dental insurance when I started my first full time job, opened my eyes to resources like Care Credit, worked with me to build my credit. We went to Morrison at Rane's Dental in Plainsboro to get braces for my daughter. Sorry, that woman is not fit to be a dentist or whatever she calls herself. Instead of ending up with a good set of teeth, my daughter ended up with a cracked tooth. While removing the brackets that held the wire she shaved a part of the teeth which exposed the nerve. My daughter had to get a filling to numb the tooth sentivity. Please donot bring your child to her for braces. You will surely regret it for the rest of your life. read more

if i can give it a zaro star.i woud in this case. please do not ever go there for any kind of services..i went there for a crown and my anesthetic went out 45 mins before the whole surgery finished and they couldn't and wouldn't do anything about it.so I had to lay on the chair in fxxxin extreme pain. it's been 4 months after the surgery. there still bleeding and pain from the area. if I didn't move out of state, I'd go back and ask for refund or some sort of settlement. I seriously believe they got their dental license certificate from ebay or something. read more

I don't where to start ... This dentist office is beyond horrible .. I made an appointment to have my teeth filled and got nothing done Dr. Lee told me she didn't have time to take care of my filling ... She told me they have silver filing but the receptionist told her white would cost more.... The staff is very unprofessional and I felt like it was a waste of my time... Dr. Lee looked tired.. Like she didn't want to even wanted to be there .... No wonder why they have so many open appointments.. I would never ever go back... I highly recommend Dr. Lee. She is very professional and very accommodating. I have been a part of this practice now for 11 years. Dr. Lee and the staff have gone out of their way to work with my schedule and my insurance. Dr. Lee listens to my concerns and also voices some of her own and together we come up with the perfect treatment plan. She ensures that I am pain free during any treatment, including teeth cleaning, which is crucial to keeping your next appointment :-) . If Dr. Lee left her current practice, I would make sure to follow her to her next one, she is that good. So I am a physician in residency who needed some dental work after moving to the area. My brother had a cavity filled and said they were fine. They had a special for a full xray and teeth cleaning for $99. When I went they asked if any teeth were bothering me I pointed to one. They only did an xray of one tooth said there was nothing visible but recommended a crown. I said fine. The tooth hurt more after there crown prep than before. Then they told me I needed a root canal, I said ok ( I was in a great deal of pain by this point). Then they only did half a root canal ( I couldn't eat for around two weeks and was taking an NSAID daily). A week later they did the other half of the root canal ( it still hurt) then a week later they put a permanent crown. It still hurts more than when I went in the first time. There is much much more but I will not go on. I have been to a number of dentists as I have moved around a lot but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Its a money making scheme...when I asked about the full check up because I never got one ( even though I payed 99$ for one tooth) they said I could pay another $99 for the full check up?! Honestly, if I treated my patients like I was treated I would have lost my license by now. read more
