Recommend the tea lead salad and the Burmese pad thai, but we also tried the minted jalapeno chicken that was a good blend of flavors I never thought matched! The food arrived hot! There was an uber deal for buy one-get one which was great since I was feeding multiple people. The noodles here aren't great. They break easily and just aren't my favorite. The basil chicken was ok. Very dry chicken but the flavors were nice. The dishes I did really enjoy were the paratha (great texture and sooo yummy) and the sesame chicken which is usually not a dish I would like! So very hit or miss for me. Slow to acknowledge and even slower to seat us. For a party of 5 he sat us at a table for 8. Now onto the food. Presentation was fine, tea leaf salad was good and coconut rice was perfect, but that's where the pluses end. The rest of the dishes oddly seemed cooked by someone unfamiliar with Burmese food. The flavor profiles of the eggplant, beef, noodles and curry were just off. I just can't excuse watery lukewarm curry with rubbery pieces of chicken. We didn't get sick or anything, but we didn't really enjoy the meal either. The guys ate it bc they were hungry & it was expensive. We sat, ordered, had to call for our waitress a few times for simple requests as she was busy doing something at the table, the music was loud and the ppl in the kitchen were yelling. We ordered 2 salt/pepper shrimp because our 23 month old enjoyed eating them (@$21/each), country beef dish (@$22), fried rice (@$16), and an eggplant dish (@$22)... the beef was either smooshy or hard and there wasn't much and no potatoes as the fish indicated, the eggplant was tasty but not worth paying the same as a main meat dish. Basically whomever priced the menu needs to go bank and fix it. The salads, are the same price as a main dish... it's weird. Our bill came... $112 for two people and a baby.
