We finally made it to Curry Up Now after finding out (six years later lol) that the food truck my fiancé used to love actually has a physical location here. We are already planning to come back. We tried the fried ravioli first. On their own, they were just okay, kind of mid, but the tikki masala dipping sauce they came with was so good. Honestly, the ravioli felt more like a crispy vehicle for sauce delivery, and I was not mad about that. The mini samosas were good too. I have definitely had better ones before, but these still hit the spot and I have zero complaints. They came with this brown sauce that I am not totally sure what it was, but I loved it and kept going back for more. Overall, really fun flavors and a cool mix of Indian street food vibes with casual comfort food energy. Next time we are going for the curry burritos because that feels like the main character move here.

Our server Raul was great and made our food super delicious! My husband and I haven't been here in a while but were craving authentic Indian chaat. We came on a Wednesday afternoon - although it was quiet the premise was super clean! We ordered the bhel puri, kachori chaat, and samosa chaat. Portions were good, delicious, fresh, and we left with our bellies and hearts full! Definitely recommend and we'll be back for sure!

I think i get pani puri cravings and curry up now is the ole reliable for the fix. I love coming here during the connecting bar's happy hour. I will sit in the ambiance of the cool bar, eating my snacks, and getting a happy hour drink. Got the pani puri, mini samosas, and fries to share with my friend and me.

First time at curry up now and enjoyed seeing all the creative menu items! The food was very good and quick. The only wish we had was that the food was heated up a bit more.. Some of the items were not that warm or felt a little cold so they weren't as tasty as they could be. Service was very good and friendly!

3.5 stars, rounded up for service. Ate twice recently, for the first time at this location. The good: I get WiFi here, and it's actually a great place to lunch while working. Service is friendly and attentive. Tables are well stocked with napkins and utensils. There's a huge menu. The average: The food is not great. Palak paneer was decent for my taste. The chicken tikka masala didn't have a lot of flavor. The butter chicken was too sweet. The bad: most dishes cost more than their equivalent elsewhere around town. I recently had curry & kebab in SM and thought their dishes were better, but I'm still more likely to come to curry up now for their convenient location, the service, and more comfortable seating.

In a downtown, with a ramen or bubble tea shop on every block, it's nice to see an Indian inspired restaurant. I think if I went in with a more fast food mindset, I would have probably been a bit more satisfied with the meal. Sexy fries: The dish really didn't seem well thought out. The sweet potato fries were fine, but the paneer and sauce felt like it was just tossed on. Wouldn't recommend. Thali: we ordered with chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and spinach paneer. I liked how there was different variety, but the flavors of the dishes fell a bit flat. I wished the naan was chewier instead of a pita texture. Haaka noods: If you think of a standard Chinese chow mein, you'll get a decent idea for it tastes. Samosa: The best dish we ate. The pastry was hot and crispy and curried potatoes were tasty. Mango lassi: comes in a bottle so not sure if it is made fresh. Tasted fine. All in all, they try to go for a modern "cool" vibe feel, but the dishes, aside from the samosa, fell flat.

Do they have Halal food as well?

Hi Amrit, yes we do! Everything in our menu is Halal except our chicken tenders and chicken wings!

Did they increase prices by more than 50% recently? Lot of menu photos from last few years shows thali as $9/$11 and kathi rolls to be $6.5 and now these are $14 and $9…

Yes I believe they have. I understand they need to keep up with the inflation but in some cases the quantities have gone down, for eg. their burritos have become smallereven though the prices went up. I am not a fan of CUN anymore.

From the moment we walked in, the server who was seating guests spoke to us in a very harsh tone. It was my friend's first time visiting, so he didn't realize there was a line and walked inside. Instead of simply pointing him to the line, the server abruptly told him to get back in line. Once we did, everyone in front of us received menus except for us. When it was our turn to order, I pointed directly to the #1 menu item because I couldn't pronounce it. He acknowledged me by saying "okay," so I assumed my order had been entered correctly. About 15-20 minutes later, my friend received all of his food while mine never came. After waiting even longer, I politely asked if we could cancel my order. Instead of apologizing, the server immediately responded, "You never ordered that. I even read the order back to you and you confirmed." This confused me because I distinctly remember pointing to the item I wanted on the menu when I placed my order. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What disappointed me wasn't that my order was missed... it was the lack of accountability and basic customer service. There was no apology or attempt to make things right, and I ended up leaving without ever eating. My friend and I remained polite throughout the entire interaction and even left a tip. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard for me to want to come back.

My only disappointment was the rice--it tasted a bit like packaged rice and lacked the flavor and texture I was expecting. Next time, I'll definitely skip the rice and just get the garlic potatoes because they were delicious. The pita was also incredibly soft and fluffy. The drinks were excellent. We tried the raspberry lemonade and the mint drink, and both were refreshing. An honorable mention goes to the squeeze bottle sauces--they were so good! I believe one was a creamy garlic sauce and the other was a green sauce that reminded me of mint chutney. They really elevated the meal. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a great atmosphere, although it does get crowded and noisy during busy times. The service was good overall, but I did have to keep asking for water refills since the staff didn't check in very often. My biggest complaint was the restrooms. They're incredibly small and poorly ventilated, making them feel hot and stuffy. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food was excellent, and aside from the rice and the restroom situation, it was a great dining experience.

The space is pretty small and casual with an extensive menu of Indo-Asian, Indian, Nepalese and Chinese food. I like the Gobi (cauliflower). It's breaded and sauced up Manchurian style. I've also had the lamb curry which had nuances of exotic spices and was great with basmati rice and roti. They also had a mushroom soup on the menu. It had good taste, but the viscosity was more like a gravy than a soup. I couldn't bring myself to finish it-too much cream and flour or whatever thickening ingredient was used. We wanted to get a bottle of rose which they did not have. They also did not have a bottle of savignon blanc on the menu. So we just enjoyed a couple glasses. The people here are super nice and attentive. The food is exotic with lots of east Asian Indian flavors. This is not a dinner spot for me though.
