Drove a hour away after work to this shop after having previous work done on my old vehicle in 2020-21. I'm having calipers, rotors and brakes installed. They call me and said I brought the wrong parts, pay us $50 and come pick up the car. Randy says I'll leave the key underneath the steering wheel column (I have two sets of keys and a steering wheel lock) I drive down to pick my car up 08/09 8pm the doors were locked and I left my second set of keys home. I drove back home same 1hr drive. I come back the next morning on Sunday and unlock the car with my set of keys I brought from home. I search when I get in the car for the keys and they're no where to be found. I reach out to them in regard to this and I'm told "well Randy said he put them in there, this has never happened before." I understand Randy said he put the keys in there but they're not in my vehicle. I tried starting my vehicle without my second set of keys being in side and my car says "key fob not detected". I've searched under carpet, in the gas cap, trunk etc everywhere the key could be. Keep in mind this is my NEW CAR I purchased the week prior & I just wanted to upgrade the brakes system to Brembos. My car key has my steering wheel lock on it (people like to steal the car I own). My keys appear lost at this point I asked what are you guys going to do about it and the lady asked me "what would you do?" "Randy said he put it in there and he's sure he did". I told her I would do right by my customer. She said that would be up to Randy and I ask to speak to him and she said he was busy. That was on 8/19 yes they've been "looking for my key" for over 2 weeks 08/23 and still no resolution or follow-up. I asked her so what do you guys want me to do just deal with it huh? It really breaks my heart to write this review because I trusted them with two of my cars for almost 2 years, but this very last situation was the worst customer service I ever experienced in my life, and I have to share to prevent someone else from going through what I just went through with this business! They had my car for almost 3 1/2 weeks. I had to reach out every single time to inquire about what was actually wrong with my car. I never received an invoice or even an understanding of the work that they were due to complete. This was very unusual because All of my previous accounts with them did not go this way once I questioned why my vehicle was there for so long and why I did not receive a service plan or action plan on what they will be doing to fix the vehicle they became offended. I explained that I was spending thousands of dollars on rental cars due to my car being in their possession for almost 3 weeks and they were offended. Randy told me he did not want to work on my car anymore and to pick it up without completing any work without confirming, what was wrong and very rudely, even though I was not rude on any of the phone calls I made. Even worse, I live an hour away from this business and was forced to go into emergency mode to ensure that my car was going to be safe because they did not assure me that my car would be left safely for pick up. I had to spend $250 on a tow truck to tow the vehicle from this business back to my home. I will never go there again and I advise those who like to call in and inquire about their vehicle if it's been held for three weeks without an invoice being sent out, not to come here either! read more

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME !! -They definitely have my business. Coming here for all my car necessities. The shop is so clean I've never seen an auto shop look so clean. They have two dogs that are the sweetest. -My first time here and Randy took such good care of me I was astounded. He explained everything that was wrong with my car thoroughly and that he could have my parts shipped there in no time at all. It was immediate because my brakes were really bad. -He had my parts within 2 days and called me to bring my car back, he fixed and cleaned everything i needed in a little under two hours. All I could say was, I was smiling like I had bought the car brand new that day. I promise the car didn't even drive like that when I first purchased. The car is a 2016 Fiat 500X. Went to this shop in January 2021 and just getting my car back June 2021 and no repairs was done at all. Communications was horrible, I had to call multiple times because I wasn't even notified when the diagnostics was done. Then after calling for months without a call being returned I finally got a appointment to go check out what was wrong with my car. I agreed to the recommended fixes and they still didn't get done. Fast forward to the present date. I called and told them I was taking my car out of there. I was then notified that my car was in worse shape then when I brought it in. I drove it In and had to have it towed out. Car is super dusty inside and out side. Now my transmission is completely out, my front chevy emblem is missing off the car, and now my hood won't even latch. They had it held down with a stretcher. I will under no circumstance reccomend this shop to no one. read more

Took my car here in 1996 and I am surprised it is still standing. I never forget that Randy charged me $2000 for a transmission because that was "the problem with my car." Two months later, my car broke down. Kapult. Dead. Went back to complain and he said there was no guarantee that car would run after replacing transmission. He couldn't tell me what was wrong with the car. True- there was no written guarantee so I lost not only $2000, but I lost my car, too. People, be wary of this business. read more

When there are so many mechanic's that will rip you off. I had to offer a review. A local mechanic stated I needed a tie-rod. Took my car here. No, I didn't. I would strongly suggest taking your car to this mechanic. Work completed, that NEEDED to be completed. And at fair pricing. This mechanic explained what needed to be done, and what work could wait. RANDY and MICHELLE is very unprofessional. They never return any phone calls and she can't answer any questions and always answers the phone. People do your research before taking your vehicle to this so called "mechanic". He gives you a song and dance before repairing and he's very slow. His sign states $49 for diagnostic test and then he wanted to charge me $79. My car sat on his lot for an entire week and he never looked into it. He wanted to charge me based on the codes I gave him from a failed emission test. He could not show me the test that was done on the car therefore I refuse to pay and he got very ignorant. I would never go back there even if he was the only auto shop in IL nor send my worst enemy to him. BE CAREFUL!!!!! read more
