I had a very, very important question in regards to a medication which I wanted to know if my mother can continue taking or not it's been 3 days an I still haven't heard anything. I called again I was put on hold 22 minutes then i hung up called right back same person answered and I had to go over the same situation with her and she said Dr just went in with patient well have to give her ma message then she'll call you back. So there it is again unfortunately her PC can't advise anything because they didn't prescribe the medication. I'm thinking of getting a different cardiologist if it takes all this to try to get information about a medication then what's wrong here?

Plus, their offices weren't very responsive or helpful. She had been concerned about the drive to Irvine since she doesn't live in OC, but after meeting him today about a list of issues, she walked out feeling empowered and happy to be in some expert hands. I went with her to her appointment so I was there to see how he treated her. He asked her questions, listened to her answers, and carefully examined her as if she were his own mom. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that level of care and patience. Now my mom can't stop talking about how amazing Dr. Mikhail is -- she said that all her other doctors have never been so thorough. For instance, she has had breathing issues the last few years yet no one had ever had her do a breathing test to figure out the cause. Dr. Mikhail quickly got a test ready for her, then diagnosed and treated the issue. I can't thank Dr. Mikahil enough for all these years of outstanding service, expertise, and kindness. He is the kind of doctor that won't run batteries of tests on you unless it's actually called for. I now live 50 miles away from his office and will still make the drive down to see him. The person on the phone suggested I call back a week later to check for any cancellations that might allow me to see him sooner. I followed their advice and called a week later, but this time, the lady on the phone told me it wouldn't be possible for me to see the doctor earlier because his schedule was fully booked. Since this was not an emergency and just a routine change, I was completely fine with waiting. However, today, less than 24 hours before my long-awaited appointment, I received a call from the office notifying me that my appointment was canceled because they do not accept my insurance. This has been a frustrating experience. I would appreciate it if your office could handle these matters more professionally and avoid wasting patients' valuable time. Additionally, I found the representative on the phone to be quite rude when I expressed my concerns about their procedures.

He's willing to recommend anything that could give you a higher quality of life. I will say that getting in contact with the office can be difficult, but there's only a couple of office staff serving their hundreds of patients and fighting my complicated insurance like mine, so I give them grace. I always have my next follow ups scheduled when I'm leaving the office, and I run into very little scheduling issues with that method.

I have had many endocrinologists over the years and have never had an additional charge for the doctor to review my CGM numbers with me?? Is that not included in the office visit charge? I had to contact my insurance company, their billing office, and finally office manager and they offered no resolution. I have no choice but to pay collections but I would NEVER return to this office because I genuinely feel scammed and taken advantage of as a patient.
