I called him and he was available to come out within a couple hours. When he got here and inspected the unit, he immediately identified the issue saying we had a bad capacitor. Our hot water heater died in the evening and we found Dayco through Yelp. I filled out their form…read moreand got an email asking when I would like a free estimate - (ASAP!). It was a 20 year-old water heater and the tank had worn out - so when Tyler came the next day around noon, there wasn't much to diagnose. He explained all our options and gave us a good price for a very good replacement. We said 'go!' and we had a new heater in about four hours. He also explained a few mistakes the previous installer had made with some of the plumbing (the reserve tank was on the wrong side of the valve and the plastic tubes were too close to the exhaust valve, which could have melted them). Anyway, Tyler was awesome - very professional, very proficient, very personable, and able to explain everything to someone who's definitely not a plumber. Can't recommend Dayco (and Tyler!) highly enough. Will definitely be calling again if we need anything else in the future.

Unfortunately, my experience was not so good. I had a toilet that kept running. Simple, right?…read more First, they installed a new expansion tank on the water heater. That didn't work, I could still hear water running so I was told it was the pressure in the water line to the house so they put a pressure valve on the meter. Well, I called another plumber and he figure out immediately what it was. Fixed the upstairs toilet and my problem was solved. Their first trip cost me $240. and their second trip cost me $385. I don't even remember what the last plumber cost me but it was very little and he solved my problems.
