After going round and round with both the local service dept and Honda corporate and even showing all the text messages and pictures of the error message on my dash prior to the warranty expiration date, they still would not cover the repair and wanted to charge me many hundreds of dollars to fix the issue. A friend recommend Malek at ESS and while it was a drive from where I am, I was so frustrated with the dealership service dept, I scheduled the time to meet with Malek. After doing a full diagnostic they found the issue which was based on an old lingering code that had not been cleared from the electronics. Taking my car to Malek (ESS) I learned that dealerships only want to sell parts to make money instead of actually fixing the issue for a much lower cost! My car works great now with no errors popping up and all the car's original functionality performing the way it should. I plan to bring my car back to Malek for all future maintenance and repairs! He is the best and so much less expensive than the high priced dealerships!

It would not accept a charge so I called and talked to Justin and he said bring it in and they would look at it. I informed him at that time I had a 3rd party warranty on the vehicle and he said they would deal with it. He called and informed me that he had to run a diagnostic on it and said warranty company would not cover the charges only parts and labor lie number one . Went on to tell me it would be an ungodly amount per hrs. And would be around 750.00 I said OK not realizing he has not actually talked to them. Didn't hear back from him so finally after a week I called concerned I was going to pay more for the diagnosis he informed me he would do it for 750 but he wasn't able to figure it out and felt it personally needed to know. I said ok didn't hear back for probably another week to him telling me I needed hv charge cable and hv batteries he wasn't able to do it but referred me to someone else to the tune $20,000 or higher. Said I would come get the vehicle what was owed he stated $930.00 was not happy but wasn't leaving the vehicle either. So went got the vehicle ended up taking it to a guy close to home good guy he told me that my high voltage charge port was cut and missing a fuse and warranty company voided my warranty and could not be fixed had to buy another cable$1200.00 so I call Justin a real winner he admitted to cutting the cable without consent and said it was necessary for the diagnostic $930 ago and said he didn't ​feel any obligations to make it right was totally comfortable with what he had done and said he was stepping away and not going to have any more conversation about it i could talk to the manager which would be better thought referred me to Janet or something I ask her if she could find a cable good or bad just wanted warranty company to cover it she said I quote "at the end of the day we are not replacing the cable" in was appalled being in a family that owns a business i cant imagine being around long. So you just might want to watch yourself doing business with them because you can definitely come out worse than you go in. So I don't have any stars by this business

They even provided Uber transportation to the airport for me to pick up a rental since all their rentals were out. Ok so here it goes, my 24 year old daughter who lives out in Texas was celebrating her birthday on…read moreApril 5th and suddenly she comes out of a store near Lewisville and her radiator fluid was leaking, she had her car towed to Garage 62, Wassim the owner on a Sunday took her call and accepted the 2016 VW Tiguan in. As her Dad out here in Southern California of course i was helping her through this and talked to him on the phone about what the problem was, he said it was $80 to diagnose the issue and that would be applied to the labor and part total cost. I said no problem, he then said it was the water pump and gave me a final cost of $900.00 including the pump to replace it. I then immediately checked around and the nearest shop around was considerably more so I decided to go with Garage 62. He then promised to use the top of the line pump and as promised he sent me pictures of the part before install and on Tuesday evening he had finished all the work and my daughter went over to pick up the car. As requested he put all used parts in a box and gave them back to her and test drove the car prior to handing it off. My daughter said it looked and ran fine and that the temp gauge was where it should be at, he also included all radiator fluid. He did require half of the 900.00 up front for parts and some labor and I was a bit skeptical at first to give that but in the end he did a fine job. From here on out I will have Wassim work on her car for oil and maintenance. Wassim likes to text more than talk over the phone due to his English but I was ok with that. I've acquired car knowledge only through owning the ones I've had and it's all been bare minimum. All that to say, I have not felt like she was talking over me. I have not felt like this company is trying to take advantage of me, AT ALL. Unfortunately mechanics have a bad reputation but this company has proven to me that they are honest people. I've had to get an oil change and all of my coils replaced. They tried to see if my car would allow just the second coil being replaced but after starting my car a couple times, my car wanted 1,3 & 4 replaced as well. Anyway, I had to leave my car overnight which it's in an area that didn't give me any anxiety so there was no fear of my car getting vandalized. My car is running good-as-new so I'm def pleased that the problem has been resolved. You are able to buy the parts for your car and they will use those, since that can cut on cost. Those parts will not be under their warranty. I had to get my car fixed asap so I didn't go that route but it's def good info to know if you don't need to get it fixed immediately. My only complaint? That I am unable to interact with the mechanics in the garage. I love chatting with people and making new friends but then again..... this is already the hottest and most humid summer I've experienced in DFW (yall, I work outside as a laborer so I get to stand on this soapbox) The opposite of a complaint now: they offer free candy, cokes & water and also free play on arcade games while you wait. Called Beas since they are by my office. Diana got me in same day and the work and price was outstanding. Didn't try to sell me a bunch of service I didn't need. Kudos Beas, you all are great!
