In late April, during a time of an urgent health crisis for a family member, my sister inadvertently dropped her phone in the washing machine. Weeks later, together with my two sisters, I accompanied them to Phone Electrik to see if it could be repaired. They were given an estimate of $800.00. My sisters decided to try another repair shop that they had used previously. They got the same answer that the phone could not be repaired. So we went back to Phone Electrik and told them what they had been told. My sister was hoping to retrieve the photos and data from her phone as some of the photos were of a younger brother who had recently passed away. The owner and his son told my sisters that it would be costly but she was willing to pay the price for getting the photos and data back. The owner told us that they had some other contacts who could assist them with the retrieval of the photos and data so my sister agreed to leave the phone with Phone Electrik in hopes of a miracle. Two weeks ago, they called my sister and asked for her login information. Today we received a call from Phone Electrik informing my sister that they were successful in retrieving all of her data. We drove to the shop and after a purchase of a new phone from her phone service provider, Phone Electrik was able to download all of her retrieved photos and data into the new device. Amazing!!! It was costly ($700) but well worth it for my sister. We were touched beyond words by what they were able to do for us. The owner and his son were extremely cordial and friendly and their dogged determination resulted in my sister recovering her lost data but more importantly the photos that were irreplaceable. It's rare in times like this that a business owner would take the time and effort to resolve a problem that seemed hopeless. The owner and his son gave my sister hope that the data and photos could be retrieved and they delivered. Hope is a good thing!!! read more

Over changing ppl. Blank screen mint my phone is lit up. Face ID isn't working now. I'm not able to get into my bank account, school portal anything I have my Face ID on. Uggh, I hate it when companies can't just answer for their mistakes, everybody does them but few acknowledge and correct. Mr. Sardor, this was definitely the store I went to and speaking of, you're on the corner of Crenshaw and Artesia. There is no "report" because one was never done or was spoken about. And this "date base" of yours is non-existent, you guys didn't even ask for my name or anything beyond my phone number to call me when my phone was ready. Please don't make me a liar here by saying you have no such name on your "data base" and that it was another store that I'm speaking of. I will say this, it's possible that you don't purposely not fix the issue so that the customer can return. So maybe you just don't fix it correctly because of lack of knowledge, idk.... but what I do know is that it wasn't fixed correctly. read more

Funny how it was 170$ yesterday when I went in the store. Then they quoted me $140 on yelp messenger. What's even better is empire phone repair less than 5 minutes away from you quoted me $89 and was polite and didn't tell me I had to replace the entire front screen just to replace the speaker mesh on the front of the iPhone. Located on the corner of Crenshaw Bl and Artesia Bl in Torrance in the small center parking is small and tight and fills up when all the businesses are opened. Came here to have them remove the battery out of my old IPhone 4. Yes 4 I keep it for nostalgia reasons and it's part of my IPhone library of the past phones I've used/have. I have almost every iPhone from the 3s to the 15 Pro. The battery was expanding in the 4 and I wanted to remove it for safety reasons. It took about a hour since they had a couple of customers before me. Overall experience was good and i would come back again if any of my older phone's battery starts to expand up. read more
