We've used them before, but something has changed. I had three small bathroom valves replaced and they added a little more pipe to the fitting. (See pix). Charged me $778 and also keep going on about how I should have all of my pipes replaced. I had another very experienced person look and said the pipes were fine. read more

It cost over $600 . to install new faucet and the stopper! A new sink and a faucet would have cost around that. The technician did a great job and was accommodating but the price was exorbitant! I called on a Sunday at 10am with no heat. The woman told me to wait for a call for someone to come. I never heard from them. I wasted an entire day in a freezing cold home, I wish that they had said they were too busy and I could have called someone else. I called another company the next day. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. At least I was able to go to my daughter's house to stay warm and not sit home all day waiting for a call that never came. It's Tuesday. Wow! They want $185 to give us a quote for ductless air conditioning system!!! Never going to use RAPS!

They were super helpful and quick to respond to my issue. I had a gas valve that had been damaged by our appliance installer. I called RAPS at 4pm on a Friday and a kind gentleman walked me through the process and also dispatched someone first thing on a Saturday to fix the issue. Over the phone, he also walked me through the steps to make sure there wasn't a leak and went above and beyond to ensure safety. On the day of the visit, the technician came with mask, gloves and booties and maintained social distancing. He was extremely knowledgeable and fixed the issue quickly. I highly recommend their services!! read more

these people from Raps Plumbs are real smart alec's, gyp artists. They sold us a very expensive faucet, and soon after installation we noticed it was dented - as though damaged in shipment or possibly while it was in their truck. They blamed it on us, which was ludicrous - there is no way we could dent the faucet like it is dented at its end - and they came up with a phony cover story. Nasty, dishonest people. read more

They sent someone out to give me a quote to replace my kitchen faucet. I appreciated that he wore a mask and used boot covers while inside my home. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule the first appointment because the tech was running late and no one ever called to let me know. We rescheduled for a couple days later. It's $60 for them to come out and give a quote, which they do not deduct from the cost if you choose to use them like some other companies do. I paid close to $400 for a basic kitchen faucet replacement (and I supplied the faucet from a big box store). They wanted over $200 if I bought one from them! The tech made a few comments while he was here about how cheap the old faucet is and how the new one is also cheap quality. I didn't appreciate that seeing as though he has no idea of one's financial situation. Bottom line: Raps got the job done, but it was very expensive and I was basically insulted in my own home. Would not recommend. Too expensive for the service requested. I called, told the receptionist that I had to replace a kitchen faucet. I had already purchased the faucet and needed a plumber to install. The receptionist could not offer a quote for the job, or even give me a range of costs. I did agree to have the job done. When the plumber arrived at my house, he had a pre-printed list of jobs and costs, and immediately told me that it would be a minimum of $299. I have no idea why the receptionist could not even give me that as a basic quote. I understand that in some cases there can be complications. Just wondering if "no quote" means, "we will send someone to your home, and then you may simply say "yes" because we're already in your home". Never again. read more

Sure they were speedy But RAPS is incredibly expensive: $700 for 2 1/ hours to replace the waterline to the refrigerator through the wall. That's $280/hour. Yikes Job was done but "I paid through the nose"!! read more

RAPS sent their rep out on a weekend to investigate a leak near our furnace. Being able to call for help at odd hours was a big plus. The water pipes from our furnace are a D.I.Y. mess, but their rep did a good job of working around them to fix a problem coming from inside the walls of our house. The final price was a bit of a shock, but, for a job like this turned out to be, we were glad to have benefited from their experience. They told me up front what to expect. When they arrived they told me what the work would cost to complete. When they finished they charged me what they had estimated. They came prepared and did a very professional job. They are neat they put on booties when going in and out of the house thus not tracking in dirt. I will use them again.
