I had been a customer of Tracey Energy for five years. This year that ended. During those five years I experienced service people that installed the wrong valves on my boiler (two different techs used two different sized valves over two years, neither of which was the one indicated on the sticker on the boiler from the manufacturer). They routinely failed to arrive within the time window I was given for annual maintenance appointments. They were lazy, and I had to look over their shoulders each time to make sure they did their job (this was how I discovered that they had not been using the correct valves--one Tracey tech complained about the value used by the other Tracey tech the year before). The straw that broke the camel's back was when our boiler stopped working in January. The tech came and got it started, but left immediately instead of confirming that the boiler was working properly. If he had waited a minute he would have seen that the relief valve had been triggered. Instead, my 15 year old son had to call me to tell me that scalding water was flowing out of the boiler, flooding our basement floor. When I called the tech back for this emergency, he seemed more concerned that I should not use his mobile number in the future, because it was his personal phone, not a company phone. Eventually Tracey came back, replaced a water pump, that then failed a month later. Overall I found Tracey to be inept, incompetent and with awful customer service. There are plenty of small, family owned oil companies in the area, do yourself a favor and choose a different one. read more

I made an appointment because my central air unit wasn't blowing cold air and sometimes ice would build up on the line outside the house. They were a little late getting to my house, but they call and informed me that they would be late. When the Tech arrived(Ken) he answered all the question I had. He was very knowledgeable, and nice. when he finish the diagnostics on my unit, he said that I may have a leak because the unit was low on freon. I asked him about fixing the leak and he said the leak could be on the line, or outside on the unit or the boiler. He said it would be better for me if I paid the cost for freon every two years instead ripping my unit apart trying to find a leak. I only paid 115.00 for them to come out when every other company I called wanted 165.00 to come out. Tracey service was outstanding! read more

I've been a customer of Tracey Energy for 2 1/2 years and always had great success in speaking with either Joan or Gary when I needed assistance. Both explain things in detail and are great representatives for the organization because they go above and beyond with customer support. During my first year as a customer, there were several times I had concerns with my delivery. Each time I called Gary or Joan, they would listen, help problem solve and offer a few options as to how I could proceed with deliveries going further. They were cordial, as well as resourceful. Jennifer, the owner is also very pleasant and maintains a prudent disposition. She stands by her word, offering quality services as a smaller oil business owner, while remaining true to her loyal customer base. read more

Last summer my Central Air Conditioning unit died. I had been using another company but I had recently replaced my hot water heater with them and was having trouble with it even though it was a few months old, so my husband said I want to call someone that my Dad has used for years. We called Gary Jordan and he came out immediately. He replaced our C/Air, our Oil furnace and he fixed my hot water heater and now he also delivers our oil!!! Every time I call, he and his brothers show up right away. He also has educated my husband and I about our mechanicals and how to care for them so that they last a long time. If you want to be treated like family then use Tracey Energy. Whenever I have to call they know me by name, you won't get that with many other companies. They always answer any questions I have.
