[Parking]: Free private parking lot with plenty of available spots. [Reservation & Price]: Our party booked an advanced one-hour reservation session on the website from 4 PM to 5 PM on a Saturday. The price is $20 + $0.51 booking fee per adult (ages 16+) for a one-hour session. [Experience]: Our party checked in at the front counter and hung out in the waiting area. The waiting area sells various pug merchandise and also has a touchscreen pinball machine. There is a unisex restroom available. Once our party stepped into a separate pink & clean room, the staff went over instructions on how to handle the pugs. Visitors are allowed to pick up the pugs but cannot carry them while standing. Any pug wearing a pink bandana is available for adoption. Each of us received few free treats to start, but additional treats like pupccino (a small pup cup), sausage treats, or fruit cups are available for purchase. The staff was friendly and was playing fun & energetic background music during the pug session. Our party didn't stay for the entire hour and left around the 45-minute mark because we had a dinner plan afterward. [Conclusion]: Our party had fun playing with the pugs and took plenty of photos. It was a fun and Instagrammable experience & I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who's visiting the Escondido area.

All the pugs were precious and adorable and the hour we had with them was such a delight! A lot of them were excited to play while others just wanted to chill in their little beds or on your lap. I could tell all these pugs were really well cared for and that the staff were invested in their well-being and happiness, so it felt good to know all parties were having a good time during the whole session! Also, I recommend buying some extra treats for the middle of the session as the whole atmosphere changes during treat time!

Tucked away in a remote location and surrounded by lovely open land, TERI Common Grounds feels like a hidden little escape. The grounds are beautifully maintained and honestly, I felt like I was in Big Bear or Idyllwild rather than San Marcos! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and there was live music playing outside when we visited. The woman who took our order at the counter was also so pleasant and kind. Loved her! The pricing was very reasonable, and the Hawaiian bowl was really tasty with lots of flavor. I also tried the Orange Dream smoothie with protein, which was such a nice treat. I was especially impressed that it didn't have the odd texture or aftertaste that protein drinks often have. There was plenty of parking in the adjacent lots, which made visiting easy. I would definitely come back for the food and to enjoy some more live music. I also have my eye on some of the decadent looking sweets I saw in the display counter! Such a lovely spot, and definitely one I am happy I finally got around to trying!

The café was very busy because we were there to eat before a concert. They had a band playing in the café as well. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The selection on the menu was very good. They serve coffee drinks in addition to smoothies, sodas, beer, and wine. There is something for everyone at Common Grounds Café. The service was great! At our table, we tried the following food: fish and chips, Caesar salad, grilled Italian Panini, chicken wings, and a common ground burger. No complaints! Everyone was satisfied and we left with full bellies.

A friend from Idaho informed me that Invita Cafe was trying to be ruined by people who were…read moretriggered and unhinged that this family owned business was honoring and paying respect to Charlie Kirk after his assassination by placing "Thank You Charlie Kirk" stickers on their coffee cups. After my friend shared this with me, I was determined to support this business because I couldn't believe people would do that to a business for simply thanking a young man for all that he did during his 31 years on Earth. Despite Invita being far from where I live, I've been blessed to visit their Rancho Santa Fe location on two occasions and both times, I was served delicious coffee and received outstanding customer service. I'm giving Invita 4.5 stars because on my second visit, I ordered a featured coffee, but decided to change it up because it wasn't too flavorful. There are two Invita Cafe locations in San Diego with their Rancho Santa Fe spot and their other location in Carlsbad. As I indicated above, my first visit was the Saturday after word got out that people were disparaging the business and it was jam packed with customers out the door. The Rancho Santa Fe cafe is one of several businesses in Cielo Village. This village can be reached utilizing Del Dios Highway, which is a scenic route surrounded by a lake, mountains, and foliage. There is plenty of parking at this small outdoor strip mall. Invita Cafe is across from Beyond Pilates and Q1 Real Estate. Nuevo is also located here and Invita is next to Goli Pizza Eatery. The coffee shop has brick on the outside and there are outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee and food. After being in the long line that first Saturday, I finally got to see the inside and the color scheme is black and white. There are accent pics, decorative lighting, and a corner where there's merchandise you can purchase. It's a small space with counter/stool seating. The employees behind the register were diligent handling the crowd seamlessly and they provided friendly customer service. The two times I visited Invita Cafe Rancho Santa Fe were on Saturday. The first time customers were lined out of their door and the second time, I visited at 7:30am, which was 30 minutes after they opened. Both visits, I ordered coffee, but besides coffee, Invita's menu consists of tea, wellness drinks, breakfast items, salad, flatbreads, toast, and sandwiches. When I return, I'll make sure to try their food, but on my two visits, I had to try their coffee since Invita is a coffee shop. During my first visit, I ordered a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut. After my first sip, I could tell Invita uses quality coffee beans because the coffee was tasty, the hazelnut made it flavorful, it was rich, and it seriously was an enjoyable cup of Joe. During my second visit, I tried one of their featured coffees that was displayed on their counter, but after taking a few sips, I informed the young lady who made it that it wasn't flavorful. I asked her for a white mocha with two pumps of hazelnut, but this time, a young man remade it and it was as delicious as my drink when I first visited Invita. During each of my visits, the staff placed a "Thank You Charlie Kirk" sticker on my coffee cups and I really appreciated Invita's gratitude to the founder of Turning Point USA. Invita Cafe is definitely out of the way from where I live, but I'll make the sacrifice to support a business who recognizes the impact Charlie Kirk had on Americans and the youth of America. Besides the nice sentiment of appreciation for Charlie, I'll return to Invita because they serve really satisfying coffee.

Now that we live in Ramona, we have been venturing out and trying the different eating establishments. This place is like Cheers, where everyone knows your name. It has a great vibe and decent prices. The plates are HUGE and definitely shareable. I have been here a few times now, and I always really like what I order, with one exception: I am not a fan of their biscuits. I have tried on a few occasions and they do not do it for me. Today's was really not palatable. You can tell it was overworked and not cooked properly. You could still taste raw flour. It stuck to the plate it was on; that's how poorly cooked it was. On the happy side, we had great breakfasts. I ordered something different today, their Au Gratin omelette. It tasted great, but did not taste anything like Au Gratin potatoes. I would order it again. We also had chicken-fried steak with gravy and a chorizo scramble. Both were tasty and super filling. I understand their cinnamon rolls are out of this world. Since I rarely eat sweet things, I have yet to take a bite. Hoping next time I go out with friends, someone orders one. There is outdoor seating, and the establishment is dog-friendly. So bring Fido along and enjoy a meal. *Please excuse the photo. I forgot to take one before I started eating my omelette. You can see how dry the biscuit was in the next photo.
