Rare Transportation was AMAZING! We called them two weeks prior to the bachelorette weekend we were planning. They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. They had a shuttle bus available to fit almost 20 of us girls. With us being from out of town we had no clue on where to go to experience the night life and Peyton was great to give us suggestions. Joyce was awesome to follow up with us to get all the details to be sure we were taken care of and had an agenda. And Lindsey was absolutely wonderful!! He was so sweet and took such great care of us. He was early and texted throughout the night. I mean dealing with 20 wild girls is not an easy task and he was very patient and kind. After doing a search online for local transportation vendors in Alabama, I settled on Rare Transportation. Their website was informative and easy to navigate. I placed an inquiry and a short time later I received a call from Peyton Reid. It was nice that he actually tried calling me first before replying via e-mail! Peyton was very professional and after providing him my tentative itinerary he sent me a proposal the next day. We used Rare in Birmingham, then to Montgomery, and then to our final destination, Atlanta. Joe and his crew were awesome for the trasnportation of the VIP's on to the track on Sunday afternoon (Honda Indy Grand Prix - 3 buses). I mean, they were on time, communicated, had coolers of water without me even asking...they just took care of everything! They made what can turn out to be something that consumes a lot of your time (telling bus drivers where to go or what to do) super easy. We met at the beginning, I gave them instructions and they executed it perfectly. When doing the opening ceremonies actually ON the race track, well that leaves no room for error (or not being where they need to be when they need to be or taking someone to the wrong place). Recently I had company-related training in the Birmingham, AL area. The transportation for the training was provided by Rare Transportation. Our driver was Annette, who did an excellent job in not only getting us to our training facility everyday, but every evening made sure we had rides to restaurants, entertainment (baseball game), and areas of interest in the Birmingham area (Civil Rights Park). Used the trolley for transporting wedding party from country club to church and then back to club. A fun time was had by all. Rare Transportation was easy to communicate with and followed through on all plans and were very helpful. Be sure ask for the AC to be cranked up high if your day is extra humid or hot. The young people will love traveling together for the big events...it's also a good way to keep track of them and it prevents anyone from getting lost or in a wreck going to and from events. read more

We used Rare Transportation to transport our out of town guests to the church and reception for our son's wedding two weeks ago. The staff at Rare was extremely helpful. We wanted to allow our guests the opportunity to leave the reception before the end if needed and the staff at Rare suggested that we set up a shuttle to the hotel every 45 minutes in an effort to avoid any confusion.
