The service was attentive, as is the bare minimum, but where they stand out is in application technique and craft for the greatest longevity of your mani. I would not recommend this salon for a French pedicure. My experience was disappointing to say the least. Despite the salon not being busy, the technician rushed through the service, resulting in a a far from satisfactory outcome. I requested a French tip design, but the white polish was applied unevenly and failed to align properly with the natural shape of my nails. Resulting in the white tip not going to the ends of my nails leaving gaps. When I politely asked for a correction, the technician's did attempt to fix the issue but it seemed to only make it worse. It's clear attention to detail and patience were lacking in this case. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. If you don't care much about precision or quality then this salon will do you well. read more

Opted for basic green tea treatment, just wonderful relaxing along with massage chair complimentary water and Billions on the tube. It's not clean in there. The garbage can was overflowing and no one emptied it the whole time I was there. There's grime and coffee mug rings on the nail drying counter. They switched from hot cloth towels to cold paper towels and it's such a negative difference. It takes the luxury out of the experience. The technician who did my nails seemed miserable and did the bare minimum. I don't like my job some times either but I do my best to be professional and provide my clients with the service requested. I have been desperately looking for a good quality shop! Yesterday was my first appointment at Rarity and I was so impressed with the work ethic and dedication to quality and customer experience! The booking system to create an appointment is very straight forward and easy! I am an over-planner so I prefer the ease instead of having to be a walk in and take my chances of being turned away or waiting! The staff ensures you're don't mess any nails up by helping you move your things as you move through your services. They made my shape and length perfect and they have a great range of shade options! I really liked how the nails look, but the nail tech was very aggressive with my cuticles. I got cuts / bled on 3 fingers and the nail tech didn't do or say anything, except when she wiped off my pinky thumb, and left me with a bloody nail. She had directly drilled on my skin. It's been a day and my cuticle area is still really red and hurting. I would love to come back but it was very rough. I have been here two times and the pedicures are great, but I've overheard both times manicure customers asking for gentleness or complaining about pain. I still paid full price. Every time I come to rarity I'm always pleased. They're clean, the work is consistently good, and they're always accommodating. I got SNS and my natural nails have never been this long! Their pedicures are also great just wish they had jets in the tubs but the hot stones are a nice touch. Place is small but quality work is always worth the trip. read more

I had a terrible experience all around at my last visit. I came in Saturday for a regular pedicure with callus removal and a gel tip manicure. The person who did my pedicure was so rough and not paying proper attention. She scrubbed areas with no calluses really hard, making a big cut on my toe where there was previously no cut and no callus. She was barely apologetic despite the size of the cut and the amount of blood. There was also barely any cuticle care given during my manicure with no soaking and no cuticle oil. Instead she roughly pushed down my cuticles with her own nails and trimmed them dry. She was going to charge me full price for the pedicure/callus removal and let me walk out with an open gash on my toe and no bandage. I told her I didn't feel I should pay full price given the size of the cut she caused and was finally given a bandage (it was still bleeding.) I had to ask multiple times for them to not charge the extra $15 for callus removal but was still charged $30 for a pedicure that left me with a big gash on my toe. The attached picture is what it looked like as soon as I got home and it looks about the same today. I have a big event coming up in a few days that I will likely still have a big visible cut for and I completely regret having come here for a pedicure. I've been a regular here for a long time but was so disappointed with this experience and how it was handled. I don't feel comfortable coming back and would caution others from coming here as well, especially for pedicures. read more

This was my first and definitely my last time at Rarity Nail. The service was absolutely horrendous. Everything felt rushed, and despite voicing what I wanted three times, the staff member proceeded to do what she wanted. I wasn't even asked which pedicure package I wanted, and what I received was barely half of the basic service. My feet were barely scrubbed, there was no foot massage, and no lotion applied, leaving my feet dry and ashy. My hands were also dry after the manicure. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing, and I ended up stopping the service midway, just paying and leaving. Went to another salon afterwards to get the job done properly. read more

In total, I've been here 4 times and each time I remove my set, my natural nails look horribly damaged. Did a bit of research and discovered my nails are being over-filed resulting in "rings of fire" which takes several weeks to grow out. Considering the fact that I pay around $90 (excluding tip) for a full set w/ simple design just for my nails to be damaged, it's clear that I am overpaying for this service. Cannot recommend this spot enough. Got a powder dip manicure, regular pedicure, and a 20 minute massage for $90. They even did a hot stone massage without an extra charge.
