They know how to make great pizza and subs. The delivery, to an odd location near a hiking trail, was flawless.

I ordered from this place on grubhub, I selected no tip and to leave at the door. I will see when it is delivered, the driver would not leave my order at the door and kept knocking for a good 4 minutes. he would not stop until i answered the door, Im a very busy person that is why i say leave at the door. Then i noticed on the store receipt it says cash tip, i selected no tip and im thinking that this guy was thinking i was gonna give him a tip for a delivery service they offer?... i selected no tip yet the store receipt said i would pay tip in cash, this is insanely shady practice and i will not order here again, i do not recommend anyone order here. also like many other reviews the pizza i ordered was more grease than flavor. im just going to stick to dominos, at least they are not greasy. read more

Found this great local place after visiting the battlefields. It's located on the backside of a gas station in a cramped. It's nothing to look at but the food was fantastic. We had a steak sub, a meatball sub and anti-posts salad. The salad came with house made dressing and packed with meat and cheeses. The fresh made subs were hot and ready. The roll was soft and crispy, so good. Don't let the appearance of the place scare you away. We sat at booth inside and they have a couple of tables outside. I was really happy with both their pizzas & their chef salads! I really love a good salad! It was full of meat but it also had olives (green, my fave), cucumbers, cherry tomatoes! And it taste freshly made. We tried 3 different pizzas and they all were great. And they pass my next day cold pizza test, lol! I eat my pizza cold on day 2. Three weeks ago, I posted an honest review of Rascos Pizza in Boonsboro on Google. Like a fool, I found myself ordering from them again (I know). Tonight I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap and asked to add avocado. I also ordered a steak and cheese wrap with just lettuce and tomato, no onion or mayonnaise. Colour me shocked to receive a chicken ceasar wrap (no bacon, no ranch, no avocado) and a steak and cheese wrap slathered in mayonnaise, soaking through the wrap and turning my fries into a morass of potatoey goo. I had the young lady repeat my order back to me on the phone and reiterated the no onion no mayonnaise instructions twice. My wife, bless her, ate her supper without complaint. I guess I was only meant to have salad for mine. I never thought we would ever be wishing for the return of Vesta Pizza yet here we are. P.S. Visiting the Antitem Battlefield (from California) and needed to grab lunch. This place came up on Yelp with great reviews so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did as the food was excellent! We were driving through Boonesboro about 8:30 on a Sunday night, looking for a place to grab dinner and everything seemed to be closed.. we ran into Rasco's NY Pizza, ordered a salad and calzone. They closed at 9, but we saw the city park with picnic tables next door. The chicken avocado salad had TONS of chicken. I was only able to eat half of it. Both items were delicious! We placed an order on a Saturday night at 7:30 for pick up & it was ready in 30 minutes. Fast, friendly service!! We enjoyed a large pizza with sausage & onions. Highlight were the 2 gyros and French fries. WOW! Not the frozen thin pressed stuff; but, rather sliced I assume off the rotating spit when needed for orders! Lots of meat, great taziki sauce, probably the best gyros according to my two teenage sons and food critics! I had a generous slice of stuffed pizza.? We had four different pizzas and garlic knots delivered yesterday. The garlic knots were pretty good otherwise I would have given one star. The pizzas we're soggy. The sauce tasted canned. There was way too much cheese on one pizza so much that my son wouldn't finish his slice and pizza is something he actually likes. The pineapple was definitely canned on our Hawaiian pizza. Thru it all, the staff remained unflustered taking orders & serving food with a smile. The pizza was delicious. Probably the best pizza within 20 miles. The relation to King's Pizza in NY is obvious with the taste. The "wing dings" were so-so. I probably won't order those again. The pizza is enough, anyway. I only had tried pizza. The crust is thin and chewy with a neutral taste. The pepperoni was a bit greasy, but still good and the meatball was better in my opinion. I would say that the pizza was pretty good for the area, but not amazing. The person on the phone was professional and the pizzas were ready quickly and were reasonably priced. read more

I ordered from here for the first time. I have heard amazing reviews from others about this place. I ordered wings, a spinach calzone and veggie calzone. The wings were amazing but my calzone did not have one of the items I added to it. Instead of having a calzone with sausage they put capicola. I had to pick apart my calzone and remove the capicola they placed on my spinach calzone. Other than this one mistake I was satisfied with my order. Just have to be vigilant the next time I order and add an item. read more

We used to order from Rasco's several times a week; when Covid hit - 5-6 times a week to support a local business, and we were never disappointed. The food was always excellent & we sent many customers to them. We placed a$60.00 order in April & the order was wrong - no big deal, mistake happen; so we called them, and they offered to make it right & refund what they over charged us. Second order was wrong & even though it was wrong, we tried to make the best of it. Wrong choice on us - the food was horrible & what they refunded was $2 - so $58 wasted on food we threw away. Took a break & didn't order anything from them again until Saturday evening- ordered a meat lovers pizza with extra cheese, got a half baked pizza with globs of cheese. We called & let them know they brought the wrong order, their response was " that's what you ordered" no offer to make it right & no apologies from untrained staff. I'm guessing that's the issue, from all the negative reviews I've read recently. Regardless, Rasco's will no longer get our business & my suggestion for the owner is that you need to be paying attention to your business & your staff - doesn't take too many customers like us who won't come back to put you out of business. read more

Having Rasco's move into the neighborhood has been a great addition, especially having a competing pizza place (rhymes with Vesta's) who simply doesn't understand customer service and quality. Rasco Pizza is actual NY style pizza and they don't skimp on flavor. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the really need to start paying attention to the sliding toppings. We've had several occasions of pizzas being delivered and picked up that had the toppings slid off to the side. read more

We ordered the mozzarella sticks and Sicilian pizza with sausage. Both were disappointing in taste and preparation. We ordered carryout and were told 30 minutes. Arrived exactly 30 minutes later and had to wait 20 minutes. While waiting I watched one of the guys in the kitchen drop a mushroom in the trash then take it out and chop it and put it in the pile he was working on. The gross guy I was picking up for was still willing to eat our order reasoning that the mushroom was not on our pizza so I took the pizza home. Big King's fan so when they opened closer to home I had to try. Basically the same menu however only take-out, but love their food and again, closer to home! Glad to have good food close by. The pizza is great and if you have not had their "Stuffed Pizza" grab a slice to take home. Trust me, that one slice is a lot of food and so good!
