This place was a real find as we passed through Gettysburg. The pizza was really well made and tasty. The cheese steak was outstanding. The service was friendly and quick. Nothing fancy here, but the pizza was delicious and the cheese steak really beyond expectations and I've eaten a lot of cheese steaks in Philadelphia. We were on a long drive and this lunch stop made the day memorable. If you are in the area, by all means, pay them a visit. read more

This was my first experience with this establishment and quite honestly the reason I'd ordered here is that nobody answered the phone at my usual place, and my second choice was closed. I was able to order and pay online, and their was an option for curbside delivery. I drove over immediately after ordering and we t inside to wait as it only took my 10 minutes to get there and park. There is ample parking. There are not an abundance of tables ( I didn't count) but the place does seem to cater to the locals which is Gettysburg College. They have a bathroom which i had no need to explore, and a limited selection of beverages to go. I wanted 2 liters of Diet Coke, so I was good. The young woman at the register was friendly enough. They do have a charge for using credit cards. ( I paid online with PayPal. ) Our selection was extra cheese and pepperoni which i was served right out of the oven. It was a bit greasy, but therefore was most satisfying, particularly since it was 6pm and I'd not eaten anything at all since the morning. We enjoyed the pizza at home. I refer the reader to the online menu selection which is more than cheese and pepperoni pizza. They have soda on tap, but I didn't notice how many they had. I'm glad I found Antica Napoli and most likely will return and try something else when im.hungry and with little time to cook! Try it if you're in Gettysburg! read more

After reading the reviews, I recommended to my extended family of 6 to eat lunch at Antica Napoli. They are very honest in their estimation of their own skill. As a professional baker, I care very much about any yeast-leavened items, the crust of their pizza is good enough to eat, alone. The outside rim of your pizza will glisten an make a small 'crack' when you grasp it-- this is your invitation to enjoy something truly yummy. We ordered two 10" personal pizzas, each for teenage boys, and yes- it will fill them up! We also ordered an antipasto salad, a 3 meat medium, and a custom medium pizza during a weekday lunch rush. All our food, despite a clerical error by an employee, was out in less than 20 minutes. All was fresh, hot (minus the salad), and delicious. I only wish I lived less than 16 hrs away; I'd be back regularly. read more

They had very good food and it came quickly. The staff appears to be friendly and we were asked a few times how our food is and if we needed anything. It appears to be a family run business and we are always ready to support small local businesses. A few things I didn't like is they have quite a few rules you have to follow (I don't remember what they were) but there are papers up everywhere. They also don't seem to serve you water for whatever reason. Parking is a bit tricky. The restaurant itself is bright and not very inviting. It seems more like sitting in a cafeteria. Passing through to VA on our way back from NY. Owner greeted us with a friendly welcome and ended up chatting about youth football (one of interests too). We split and shared the special cheesesteak and personal pizza and while both were very good, the cheesesteak was one of the best we've had in a really long time. I have been hoping to try this place for at least two years now. When we visit the group usually talks everyone into Tommy's. Man, I'm happy we went here. No contest. The plan was a simple cheese slice (they sell it by the slice) but instead we ordered a medium Margherita. It came out quick and with a smile, with such a wonderful basil smell, and we took it just down the road to enjoy it and the sunset from among the cannons on Benner's Hill. It had great crust, great sauce with a good amount of garlic. I'd call it a great pizza with plenty of fresh basil, though it could have used just a little more cheese, but overall excellent. This restaurant is awesome. I have tried both the Sicilian and Grandma Pizza and they were both excellent. The owner and staff were welcoming and attentive. My brother and I were visiting from out of town with 5 kids varying in age from 9 to 2. The staff could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. Food came out fast and fresh. As I was cutting up pizza for my 2 year old, someone who appeared to be the owner came out and offered to cut it up in the back. He said they do this for all parents because he has kids at home.
