The best part of this place is the service and the price. It's a sit down restaurant with complementary garlic knots and a garden salad comes with your entree but my total meal was only $13 (before tip). everything was reasonably priced and meals came with garlic knots so i was all over it. i ordered the Linguine con Vongole, which is linguine with fresh red or white clam sauce (i got the white). i fear i must report i could not eat it there was more straight garlic in there than pasta and/or clams which was very unfortunate. definitely keeps the vampires away, but not how the dish should be made. in the photo, i took out all of the pasta i could to demonstrate how much freaking garlic was in there. save your money, go somewhere else. update in response to business owner: as the one who was eating just straight chopped garlic, it wasn't clams. thank you! read more

I'm leaving the Martinsburg area soon and some friends of mine took me to this restaurant last night and from the outside it kind of looks very nondescript almost like something you would not want to go into but I was so impressed with the aroma as soon as I walked in, it smelled like I was in my grandma's Italian kitchen And the food was so good. I didn't even think to take any pictures but trust me when I say it you don't want to pass up going to this place. The server comes over and brings a basket of garlic knots, which are to die for and with your entrée you are given a salad made with Romain lettuce, red onions, cucumbers, and green olives, and the dressing taste just like my mom's salad dressing that she would make with red wine vinegar and olive oil I ordered the veal marsala and the portions are so large, I had to take home a to go box and I can't wait to have it for dinner tonight. When we sat down, they had served us water and some delicious freshly baked bread. Since my group and I had just finished hiking nearby, it was warmly welcomed. I had their Calamari FraDiavolo, which is a tender squid sautéed in marinara sauce and garnished with fresh clams. It's funny that their menu had "clams" plural since there was only one clam on my dish. I had ordered their spiciest level, and I would definitely recommend that if you like a kick in your meal. It's not too spicy, but it's spicy enough to add flavor to the dish. There was some seafood (squid), but it definitely wasn't plentiful. They had brought us a large bowl of salad for us to share amongst our group also since the meal came with salad. For the price, quantity, and quality of food for the price, 5/5 stars. For the actual taste of the food, 4/5 stars. Hard to say since the price is definitely worth revisting. I wouldn't consider this a date-night place though. read more

YUM!!!! We've been here twice and both times walked away extremely stuffed and happy. They provide a basket of warm, soft garlic knots for every table. They are scrumptious. Try to resist eating the whole basket because you'll want to save room for the meal. Tonight I had the spinach ravioli and my husband had the lasagna. He really enjoyed his lasagna but kept digging into my ravioli - it was creamy, flavorful deliciousness! We never order dessert, but decided to stuff ourselves even more by ordering a piece of tiramisu and a cannoli. They have amazing coffee so I ordered a cup to pair with our desserts. It was a little piece of Heaven. The prices are VERY reasonable - especially for the portion sizes and quality of food. We decided to come here for dinner since our favorite steakhouse hasn't opened. We saw this restaurant when we went to a famous Mexican restaurant next door (a while back). This restaurant rearranged their tables pretty far apart. It's a big restaurant so it's easier to work on the sitting layout. We had Lexi as our server. She's sweet and helpful. She's the only one running the show because the tables are not fully occupied. She did day that there're two servers on the weekends. I ordered linguini with shrimp and clams in Fra Diavolo sauce. Hubby has veal and chicken cutlets with shrimp and artichoke. We also got a big house salad to share with our entrees. The garlic knots were very good. The salad was so so. Both my dish and Hubby's entree were quite good. They put a lot of garlic in both dishes but wasn't roasted garlic, just raw garlic that mixed in to the dishes. The garlic wasn't on fire much while cooking so the taste of the garlic was between raw-to-cook level. Anyway, dinner was quite good. The price was very reasonable here. Great service! read more

If you're in the Charles Town area of WV and you're looking for Italian food, you should consider giving LMC a try. They're located in a mini mall right off of the main hwy. They have a good selection of dishes on the menu; not too many and not too few. The ambulance is definitely casual... Although they do try to make this upscale casual. I ordered the fettuccine cacciatore. It was quite good. It wasn't the best Italian food that I've ever had but it hit the spot. It was definitely seasoned for a wide range of pallettes. Be ready to add whatever salt or pepper you like on your pastas. It comes with garlic knots and garden salad. This was definitely a filling meal. It was a solid choice. It's also teaming with locals so you know that the community supports this restaurant. Be sure to give LMC a try. You'll quench you Italian appetite quite nicely. read more

We had 5 people, they would not allow us to sit in a booth or push a table together. No communication, we asked why we couldn't move a table together, they said they would separate us, and that's all they could do. Manager came over when we asked why we couldn't sit at a table or booth (we said we could make it work) and was very rude, and didn't not offer any solution, after we gave 3 solutions. I was exited to go to Mezzaluna but it changed when the young server started our meal describing the star on her face was to keep her from popping her pimples! Ordered the stuffed baked clams( translated from Italian) only to receive a bowl of clam shells filled with an orange gravy made with canned clams. When I questioned the server she replied, "That's how they come. It's not my fault". The seafood salad was bland and the seafood was rubbery and previously vac-packed defrosted. The chicken parmigiana didn't stand a chance because the sauce is not fresh but thick and pasty of the canned variety that's been on the heat too long. I was very disappointed as I had heard good things about this restaurant. Next time I'll go to Olive Garden if I want mediocre Italian (style) food. Good atmosphere and garlic knots. read more

The garlic knots were wonderful, but the shrimp and clams dish was some of the worst food I've ever had. The salad was good size but they forgot the mozzarella and it had very little flavor. It seemed to be mostly jarred products dumped onto a plate with some olive oil and no seasoning. Very bland. When asked about the mozzarella, we were give 5 tiny little mozzarella balls. I took my wife & daughter here last night for the first time. We were told there would be a wait, which was fine. After ten minutes the couple in front of us was seated. We waited an additional 20-25 minutes for a table after that. We saw at least five open tables. My wife asked the server how much longer we would be waiting. She told us that she didn't know and that they were trying to "clear out" some more tables to get a break. She said there were only three employees working.
