    Kids Chicken Fingers w/ Fries

Some of the best pasta we have had in a long time. Very tasty, great red sauce and awesome service. Even the kids chicken tenders were freshly made in house and were deliciously received by our 5 year old. We will be back

The food is nothing to write home about (the garlic knots are standard, the garden salad is nice but not fantastic, and my spinach ravioli was good but swimming in sauce). The best part of this place is the service and the price. It's a sit down restaurant with complementary garlic knots and a garden salad comes with your entree but my total meal was only $13 (before tip). My server was attentive but not overbearing and everyone was friendly.

Laughable, but twenty-five dollars later, I'm the punchline! Imitation scallops perfectly round and uniform made of rubber and tasteless tuna thawed to an overcooked perfection. Even the service was terrible and I ordered carry-out. Do BETTER!! Lesson learned.

A solid 3.5/5 Italian restaurant choice. It's got the basics along with some interesting chef's specialties like the veal carnivale. The garlic knots were good and the side salad wasn't an overwhelming heap of lettuce. Prices were reasonable but seating is slightly cramped.

I've seen this place for years. Stopped in today. Super cozy. Inexpensive lunch which includes bread, nice salad and an entree. Nice little spot and friendly. Seemed to be busy but quiet.

Garlic! with a side of Linguine con Vongole

everything was reasonably priced and meals came with garlic knots so i was all over it. i ordered the Linguine con Vongole, which is linguine with fresh red or white clam sauce (i got the white). i fear i must report i could not eat it there was more straight garlic in there than pasta and/or clams which was very unfortunate. definitely keeps the vampires away, but not how the dish should be made. in the photo, i took out all of the pasta i could to demonstrate how much freaking garlic was in there. save your money, go somewhere else. update in response to business owner: as the one who was eating just straight chopped garlic, it wasn't clams. thank you!

The food was delicious!! The service was okay and it was not busy when we visited. We were the third table and one other couple walked in while we ate. We had Garlic knots, Spinach ravioli, and Agnolotti Casalinga. Absolutely delicious and fresh.

    Chicken Francese

I don't usually leave reviews, but La Mezzaluna deserves it. The bolognese was the best I've ever had. It was rich, flavorful, and clearly slow-simmered. My partner's chicken francese was equally impressive. It was tender with a bright, zesty sauce. Excellent service, too. A+ all around.

When we sat down, they had served us water and some delicious freshly baked bread. Since my group and I had just finished hiking nearby, it was warmly welcomed. I had their Calamari FraDiavolo, which is a tender squid sautéed in marinara sauce and garnished with fresh clams. It's funny that their menu had "clams" plural since there was only one clam on my dish. I had ordered their spiciest level, and I would definitely recommend that if you like a kick in your meal. It's not too spicy, but it's spicy enough to add flavor to the dish. There was some seafood (squid), but it definitely wasn't plentiful. They had brought us a large bowl of salad for us to share amongst our group also since the meal came with salad. For the price, quantity, and quality of food for the price, 5/5 stars. For the actual taste of the food, 4/5 stars. Hard to say since the price is definitely worth revisting. I wouldn't consider this a date-night place though.

I really appreciated how far apart the tables are to allow for conversations you can hear and more space in the cold/flu season. I had a Chocolate Martini and my husband ordered a Lemondrop Martini (not on the menu) but was definitely good. The basket of the fluffy, soft, warm rolls were incredible and something I will come back for. I got the Mediterranean bruschetta special which came with feta, crabmeat, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and lots of other yummy things on four pieces of bruschetta. It was delicious. The shrimp scampi over the thin fresh noodles was a pleasure - really loved how big the shrimp were and the large helping of pasta. My husband got the lasagna which was good although they used some different cheeses which made it taste a little different but still good. Amanda our waitress was quick, pleasant, and took good care of us. Fratelli's is a Resy restaurant. Make reservations ahead of time, since on Saturdays even at 4:00 pm, all the reservations are already booked for the night. I have returned to Fratelli's for a work group lunch. Kendra was excellent, taking care of our large group with professionalism, efficiency, and a warm smile and manner. I got the !4" pizza which is a deep dish pizza - just perfect - not too buttery. I got sausage which had the long slices of sausage on it, not spicy. You can only eat one or two pieces out of the thick eight slices, the pizza is thick so expect to share or take it home for several more lunches.

While we have routinely enjoyed ourselves here before, our last visit was seriously soured with a very rude, entitled host. So much so that the manner in which he spoke to us actually made my wife extremely nervous. The manager knows who he is. We had a conversation with her about his rude comments & unacceptable behavior after which we ended up leaving. I don't see us ever returning unless the host has been released from his assignment there. It's unfortunate for the restaurant because we are not afraid to enjoy anything on the menu and we tip very well (I was a waiter once, too). What an unfortunate loss for the person who would have benefited from what would have been our time there. We ended up going to Manalu and had a really terrific experience there.

At 6:18pm I called to inquire where my food was - it had been almost an hour and the restaurant is less than 2 miles from my house. Stacy answered the phone and told me that they only had 2 drivers but my order was heading my way. At 6:50pm I called back because my food still hadn't arrived and I was told (again by Stacy) that because it was raining hard and they didn't want the bag to get wet that the driver was "just leaving". WHAT?!?! Yes, it had rained - hard - for about 10/15mins TOPS. Last I checked, cars still drive in the rain. You run a business that offers delivery. I would have fully understood the delay and being short staffed if my food had actually gone out the door the first time I called. I called back a third time 20 mins later. Once again, Stacy answered and used the rain as the excuse even though the rain had ended an hour before. The food finally arrived 2 hours after I placed the order. Unfortunately, I pre-paid when I placed the order to include a tip for the driver. I was never offered a refund or a discount. Here's the thing - just be honest. The food isn't cheap and it took so long to arrive that I ended up sticking it in the fridge. I didn't intend on paying that much money to have "leftovers". Lesson learned. I would NOT recommend. As someone else mentioned in their review there are plenty of pizza places in town. I would suggest any other pizza place over this one.

I'm usually not a white wine drinker, but my fiancé ordered a glass of Terre d'Abruzzo Pecorino, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly crisp, bright, and refreshing--one of the rare white wines I'd happily order myself. For dinner, we had the Il Misto in garlic sauce and the Linguini Vongole in garlic sauce. A fun touch was that they come around with freshly grated Parmesan and will keep sprinkling it until you tell them to stop. The Il Misto was loaded with a generous variety of seafood, and the garlic sauce leaned creamy without feeling too heavy. The Linguini Vongole was equally enjoyable--the clams tasted fresh with a pleasantly briny flavor that wasn't overly "fishy," and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Overall, this was a satisfying Italian dinner with quality seafood, attentive little touches, and a wine that unexpectedly won me over. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
