Enjoying a glass of Moscato first!
    Cecilia C.

We eat at Fratelli's at least once a year since they've opened. Two thumbs up all the time. I highly recommended this spot but be prepared that it won't be cheap. Today, we reserved for early dinner at 5:15 pm and they were already busy. We were seated to our table right away and met Heather our server who is welcoming and very attentive. While waiting for the kiddo, we ordered a meatball slider with Diablo sauce and a glass of Moscato. It was tasty but spicy eaters it didn't even really register for us. Next was the house salad with freshly shredded Romano cheese and piping hot fresh house bread. For the entrees, we ordered meat lovers penne, seafood platter, and the roughy special with chipotle sauce, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes, shrimp, and crab. So so good! We were so stuffed that we passed on the desserts. Ample portions definitely. Still took a decent amount of leftovers which will be doctored with some chili oil or sriracha for a little kick Fratelli is spacious to accommodate a big party but can get a little loud when is packed. Again, highly recommend!!

We went to Fratelli's on Mother's Day. It was busy and we didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table in 20 min. The service was good. The waitress was very attentive. Breads are very warm and delicious. Salad was also good. Chicken Chesapeak was huge ! Crabcakes had lots of fillers but chicken was juicy. Shrimp scampi and chicken Milano were also good. We were too full to taste the dessert. Over all our experience with Fratelli was good. We'll be back

Enjoyed dinner here tonight. Food and service were great. Doug was awesome, even though he had quite a few tables, we didn't feel ignored. We were starving and forgot to take pics of our entrees. First time here but we already decided, we shall return!

I was a bit daunted by the prices, but I have to say, it really was that good! The eggplant parm is among few vegetarian options (others being a pasta, salad, or custom pizza) and is delightful; genuinely the best I think I've ever had. I also got tiramisu to go, which was also lovely (and a low enough sweetness to really let the flavor live). The bread and house salad given as appetizers were nice too, although I must say a side vinaigrette or butter would have gone a long way with those. Service was great as well! Atmosphere was okay; comfortable, but crowded and loud even at 3:00 pm -- enough that you also have to speak loud to be heard. It's acceptable, but does cheapen the experience slightly.

Still consistently good but a bit expensive for what you get. A good find in Middletown, but loud inside.

I love to eat at Fratelli's but recently a couple things have made me decide to think twice before returning. The food, drinks, and service are always incredible. Without a doubt some of the best seafood in the area, every single time. What makes this a 3 star and not 5 star restaurant is: 1. The booths; they are incredibly uncomfortable. For someone to enjoy their dining experience, they have to be comfortable and that is not possible if seated at one of Fratelli's booths. I have never gone to a restaurant where the seating was so uncomfortable, I asked to move. At Fratelli's, however, I cannot sit in a booth because I spend the entire time hunched forward trying to be comfortable. Everyone I have gone with complains of the same thing. They have an empty lower back area but a very hard and large upper back cushion that forces you forward. This past visit was a busy night so we sucked it up and I stuck my purse behind my lower back to try and even it out but even then, I was very uncomfortable. I always ask to sit somewhere other than a booth. Perhaps people just aren't making management aware of how uncomfortable the booths are. 2. The ceiling vents. I just noticed that every ceiling vent looked like this, and they are right above areas where people dine. Just gross if you ask me. Makes me wonder how the kitchen is cleaned and maintained if the dining area looks this way. I think I will wait for some seating renovations and cleaning before I come back in. Though once they fix those, it would be a 5 star place to eat!

    Veal Picatta. Excellent
    Richard E.

Amazing! Gastronomic wow! Words can't reach the experience. I loved it! I've heard lots of good things about the food here. Especially the crabcakes and seafood. OMG yes! This evening they had a special... 8oz. fresh, broiled swordfish over a bed of linguine and a perfect garlic cream sauce...topped with an 6 or 8 oz.(let's just say enormous crabcake!) The fish was so moist and flakey tender. The crab was a perfect accompaniment...delicate and rich... (by the way, just to help you understand, the crab cakes are able the size of a softball!) Fratelli's makes their own pasta on site. You can see the room where they make it including a cool pasta extruder! There is just no match for good, freshly made pasta! My mate ordered veal piccata... she thought she had seen it listed on their online menu but it wasn't on the in-house menu. Not a problem we were told. Chicken or veal can be interchanged. Just ask! The server we had really knew his stuff. I felt like I was in a four star Michelin restaurant! But without the four-star $$$$ prices. Prices were reasonable... maybe better than fair for the quality, portions, and professional service. I can't wait to go back!

    Great dining atmosphere!
    Brad B.

Plain and simple, Fratelli's is my favorite restaurant on this side of the Atlantic! The crab cakes are the best anywhere...yes Baltimore, deal with it. They are the size of my fist! The entrees are defintely generous. They are two-meal worthy, for sure. If you don't get a box to take home, and eat all of your food in one sitting, I salute you. The pasta is absolutely sublime. If you get red sauce have it mixed with the diavolo...spice it up! The salad and breadsticks are enough (and outstanding, to boot!) for an appetizer, and come with the meal. However, if you feel the need, their appetizers are stellar! My favorite is the calamari. Huge pieces! Dare I say dessert? Can't go wrong whatever you choose. Carrot cake...cheesecake...just pace yourself. It's a culinary tour de force here at Fratelli's! The atmosphere is nice and subdued. Bright enough, but dimmed lighting. Just enough to allow your retinas to process all of the food you'll be tempted with. You totally get the sense that Tony Bennett is going to stop by your table and ask uou how your meal was. To top everything off, the staff are on top of their game. They will take care of you, and make sure your glasses are full! They say Disney World is the happiest place on Earth...WRONG! This is. Go to Fratelli's! Now! What are you waiting for?

    Chicken Marsala
    Leo M.

Attended for a graduation dinner. Our server was very kind and accommodating for one of our gluten free members. We've been twice, today the music was a little too loud. I got the chicken marsala and it was very good, though the pasta comes as a separate side with red sauce, instead of in the marsala. I got a Cannoli for dessert which was amazing.

Do they have a kids menu? Anyone remember what is on it?

Yes they do! I believe $9 and includes drink, side and meal. I only remember chicken tenders on the menu.

We took a table in the rear enclosed patio area near the bar. To start we ordered the meatball sliders. Two come with an order and they were good. I liked the toasted slider rolls, the tangy sauce and the spiciness of the meatball. Recommend cutting it in half to eat it without it flying out of the roll. Overall a good start. I ordered the gnocchi primavera which really wasn't in the traditional sense - as the vegetables were puréed together into an orange sauce. Had a good flavor and was served with burrata. Starters and entrees came out very close to each other which wasn't a bad thing. We also added a margherita pizza to share which looked weird - but tasted great. Nice crisp to the crust and thin. I usually think of a doughier crust with this kind of pizza but still good. Dessert was the fudge cake - rich in flavor, adding a coffee. Overall - would have loved to sit inside and get that experience but still good considering we didn't have a reservation. Our waiter - younger guy out back we good, though at times we leaned on the other bartender to help get refills.

I got the basic spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good, tender, and flavorful. These are definitely made in house. My GF got the bolognese and let me tell you this was the star if the show. It comes with fresh made pasta (fettuccini I believe) and a great homemade sauce (you can see the carrots and other ingredients). It was exceptional and I would highly recommend. My friend and I shared the filet mignon with whipped potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked beautifully, the potatoes practically melted in your mouth, and the asparagus spears were fresh and flavorful. We also split the seafood pasta, and the portion was enormous! Loaded with seafood and packed with flavor, it was just as impressive as the steak. My friend's bf got gluten free pasta-- they have gluten free options! My friend ordered an espresso martini, which was smooth, delicious, and the perfect complement to the meal. By the end of dinner, we were absolutely stuffed and couldn't even make room for dessert--which is probably the best sign of a satisfying meal. We did ask about it and I didn't find the response to be helpful, however, I liked the younger hostess so I will leave it at that. She shouldn't get in trouble as my issues are with how reservations are managed (or not managed). While I was just happy to be seated, the rest of our party grew restless and it apparently took 55 minutes from the time we entered to place our order. Having a one year old with us, this made it extremely difficult. It was very busy, however, it would've been nice to have the breadsticks and salad earlier to keep the kids happy. It was over an hour since we entered the restaurant before we could give them anything. We were able to leave after 2.5 hours, which was just very long with small children. No one in a position of power seemed to care about all the hiccups. No one apologized for anything being late or that we had to wait so long with a reservation. The food was good, but honestly, Olive Garden tasted better. Finally, they tack on a 3% additional charge to us for using our credit card. It wasn't mentioned, just tacked on at the end. I know smaller businesses sometimes can't absorb that cost, but they have always mentioned it in the past. I found that in poor taste. I will not be back in the future and I was very disappointed in how little regard there was for us as customers.

Oddest part was while we sat there - there was a 2 top table free almost the whole time we were eating. So - we could have easily been waited on in a normal setting. Nice place overall - different areas to sit, outside dining, etc etc. Service however was atrocious. It may be the fact they don't have enough people in the wait staff, but our waitress was as absent as it gets. Asked for a refill, took forever - after ordering appetizer it would have been good to then put in our entree order - but wasn't until the pizza came out 25 min later that we could do that. Asked for bread, she remembered after our entrees came out 45min after ordered - 4 small cubes. You would think when you're struggling at waiting on a table, you'd try and make up for it. Pizza was good. We got a Margherita pizza - standard and fresh as we watched them make it. For my entree I got the penne vodka and added a meatball. Lol. No sauce on that meatball and it was cold.
