My water heater went out. The company that "diagnosed" the problem charged me $99 and said that…read morethis did not include the cost to replace it. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. They sent a kid who tells me the issue may be a cracked heat exchange & carbon monoxide leaking because I told him I had gotten dizzy before he arrived. Instead of telling me at that point he doesn't have the proper equipment to detect a CO leak he runs out to his work truck several times looking for equipment he knew he did not have. When he finally comes clean about not having the equipment he needs, he says for me to call the Fire Dept. because they have the equipment. I'm foolishly thinking YOU ARE A HEATING REPAIR COMPANY if you don't have the equipment someone in your company should right? WRONG!! I called the owner who tells me they tell all of their customers in an instance like this to call the Fire Dept. Owner proceeds to say, because the kid drove here, spent 45 minutes removing screws which he should not have & feeding a camera with as the kid put it, "not very good picture" in the furnace he earned the fee. Kid told me furnace had rust. I had to call a reputable company and the Fire Dept. who both confirmed no CO. Real repair guy says there is no crack and showed me pictures of inside furnace with NO RUST. Thank God furnace is running properly. Not only did these guys make off with $141 of my money but had nerve to say once Fire Dept. comes out call them back, here is your call back!!!
