Amazing vegetarian fare. We will return. Not a place to go to for excellent service or ambiance.

We've had multiple items, (chole batture, hakka noodles, gobi Manchurian, kadai paneer amongst others) and enjoyed every one.

This place is great! Found them on Resy. Apparently it's been here many years but I never go to…read morethis part of town. We had a reservation but the place is fairly big so we didn't need it. For our appetizer order, I started to say we want the platter but she knew before I even said it. Haha. Must be a popular dish. I had seen it in reviews - looked like it comes with many items! We cut everything up so we could all get one bite of everything; a couple items had two or three whole pieces so we each got a few bites. The sauces are extra charge but definitely get them. The chutney is so good and whatever that spicy brown sauce is, is really good. I ordered for the table- shrimp korma, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, palak paneer, aloo Gobhi, lamb kadai, dal makhani, garlic naan, garlic cheese naan and paratha. It was a lot of food!! The dishes came with basmati rice. It was so much rice, our server didn't bring it all- instead she packed it up to go for us from the start. In the end, we finished nothing. We split the left overs- they brought us two containers for each curry so we didn't have to mix anything. And we got styrofoam containers for the breads and rice, and our to go rice as well. We shared the mango mousse cake- very nice, not too sweet, definitely mousse consistency. We sat and talked throughout the dinner. They had quite a few other tables so our server was running around. She kept apologizing to us but we were in no hurry. It was fine. We enjoyed our time. This place is good. We also like Mynt, Tamarind and Jala. I would say the prices here are better than Jala and on par with Tamarind. We do not like Tamara in Lake Mary - expensive and not that good. We would definitely come back here. Service is good, food is great, prices are reasonable and there's a lot of paneer and meats in the curries. A lot. A lot more than most places. And you can avoid the traffic and bad parking situation of winter park. I would recommend this place. Parking is plentiful. I did not use the restroom so I can't speak on that. They have some music playing which can be a little loud. Restaurant was clean. They were very responsive by phone when we typed the address in wrong and got lost. Oops. Haha. They do have a big sign that you can't miss. Go and enjoy!!

Inside, the place is really nice, almost formal. Dark dining room with nice tables and booths. Cool artwork and lamps. Service was very interesting. Our host, maybe owner(?) was super chatty. I prefer service to be get and get out promptly but she was recommending items, asking questions, and determining herself what we really wanted. Hey, maybe some people really like that to get a great experience. I found it a bit much but she was super nice. We got the veggies platter appetizer which was fantastic. The server really pushed the lamb samosas which were fine but I should have passed. And for entrees we got butter chicken, tikka masala veggies, and shrimp korma with garlic naan and a fantastic plate of basmati rice. The meal was great! The sauces/gravies were so delicious. And honestly, some of the best basmati around. Come for the food! Definitely recommend this place. And for Amex users, a great credit as well. Definitely worth it.

I always get the kada masala and it's phenomenal. It's served with all the accompaniments and I always add a samosa and chai. We ordered the chicken saag (saagwala), chicken curry, cheese naan, onion kulcha, and samosas. The chicken saag was a little different than other saags I've had, and it wasn't as herbaceous as I expected. I ordered it mild and it had no spice at all, which was fine with me. The chicken curry was good as well, it was very tomatoey with a slightly smoky flavor. I ordered that one medium expecting a little heat, but there wasn't really any spice, which was a bit disappointing. In both chicken dishes, some of the pieces of chicken were a little overcooked and slightly dry, but the sauces themselves were still flavorful. Both dishes came with rice, which was a little bland on its own but worked well once you mixed it with the sauces. The onion kulcha was definitely a highlight. It was soft and had a ton of onion baked right into the dough, which I loved. The cheese naan was fine, not bad, but not particularly memorable either. The samosas were also really good. The filling was flavorful and they were perfectly fried. They came with two sauces: a green sauce that tasted really fresh and herby with a nice kick, and a sweeter brown sauce (I think tamarind) that was a little sweeter than I personally prefer. Portion sizes were okay but not huge, and the overall price felt a little on the higher side for the amount of food. That said, I'd still come back to try some other dishes, and I would definitely order the onion kulcha again

Came here one evening after work with some co-workers. We take turns sampling different cuisines,…read moreand this place was the best looking Indian place within a reasonable distance of the workplace. So we got off work and raced on over. Ambiance is nice. Good lighting, classy looking tables, some nice, chill Indian music playing softly in the background. Good stuff. Service was good. Our server was very friendly and did his best to answer our questions. We needed some allergy friendly food, and there were a few questions where he just didn't know and made a best guest. That's fair, I guess, but that just needs to be better. Food came out timely and nice and hot, the tandoori chicken sizzling up a storm. Now for the food. I started off by getting a Vegetarian Special Appetizer (A combination platter with samosa, aloo tikki, onion bhajiya, mixed pakoras and chili pakoras) for the table. These are always fun, because you don't always know what you're eating. Samosas are always wonderful, and the onion bhajiya is like a better latke. Get this if you like to sample things. Then I had a Lamb Biryani (Lamb and basmati rice cooked with saffron and spices, garnished with cilantro, nuts and raisins). If you're a biryani fan, I'd probably pass on this one. Not a great example of biryani. Very little saffron and other garnishes. There are other great things on this menu. Of course, I had to get some Garlic Naan (Light bread made with fresh garlic, herbs and cilantro). A+ delicious. Light, rippable, soft, garlicky, good for grabbing food like you don't have silverware and adding flavor and texture to every bite. The Chicken Tandoori (Chicken marinated overnight in yogurt with fresh Indian spices and grilled in a clay oven) came out last and on its own, sizzling like the center of attention like a steak fajita. Chicken was well-cooked and very tender. Lots of good flavor, but maybe a little too salty. Overall, this was a very good introduction to Indian food for a few of my co-workers. I'm glad we came. It was a nice visit.

I will say be cautious with spice because it comes with the heat - but also tons of flavor. My favorites dishes are the Lamb Biryani and the Chicken Tikka. The rice is so fluffy and delicious too! Don't forget the veggie samosas either - they come 2/order and are filling. Today I went in during lunch to pick up food for an office meeting. The staff were very friendly and the smell of the lunch buffet was amazing!! It's a simple restaurant with a lot of authentic flavor that hits the spot, every time.
