Came here one evening after work with some co-workers. We take turns sampling different cuisines, and this place was the best looking Indian place within a reasonable distance of the workplace. So we got off work and raced on over. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is nice. Good lighting, classy looking tables, some nice, chill Indian music playing softly in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good stuff. Service was good. Our server was very friendly and did his best to answer our questions. We needed some allergy friendly food, and there were a few questions where he just didn't know and made a best guest. That's fair, I guess, but that just needs to be better. Food came out timely and nice and hot, the tandoori chicken sizzling up a storm. Now for the food. I started off by getting a Vegetarian Special Appetizer (A combination platter with samosa, aloo tikki, onion bhajiya, mixed pakoras and chili pakoras) for the table. These are always fun, because you don't always know what you're eating. Samosas are always wonderful, and the onion bhajiya is like a better latke. Get this if you like to sample things. Then I had a Lamb Biryani (Lamb and basmati rice cooked with saffron and spices, garnished with cilantro, nuts and raisins). If you're a biryani fan, I'd probably pass on this one. Not a great example of biryani. Very little saffron and other garnishes. There are other great things on this menu. Of course, I had to get some Garlic Naan (Light bread made with fresh garlic, herbs and cilantro). A+ delicious. Light, rippable, soft, garlicky, good for grabbing food like you don't have silverware and adding flavor and texture to every bite. The Chicken Tandoori (Chicken marinated overnight in yogurt with fresh Indian spices and grilled in a clay oven) came out last and on its own, sizzling like the center of attention like a steak fajita. Chicken was well-cooked and very tender. Lots of good flavor, but maybe a little too salty. Overall, this was a very good introduction to Indian food for a few of my co-workers. I'm glad we came. One of my favorites places to order in on a chill night. The food is always fresh and taste amazing. I will say be cautious with spice because it comes with the heat - but also tons of flavor. My favorites dishes are the Lamb Biryani and the Chicken Tikka. The rice is so fluffy and delicious too! Don't forget the veggie samosas either - they come 2/order and are filling. We recently heard that the restaurant management had changed, so we went expecting some good changes. But were disappointed. The place looks exactly the way it was before. Other than the staff, I didn't see any changes. They had weekend buffet. The food was bland (i can only talk about the vegetarian items). In vegetarian entrees they had Chole Aloo, Spinach gravy with mix veggies and Malai Kofta. There was no daal. Which was very surprising, as all Indian restaurants have some type of daal in buffet. Used to love this place - for years it had the best food, management, service. Then it went under new management a few years ago and we found the food stayed the same goodness, though the service not so much. Last time we went, they seemed to have change some of the recipes, not for the better. We are now exploring other places for our "go to" Indian, even if we have to drive a little further. read more

I was visiting family in Orlando and we had the taste for Indian. This place came up and we all ordered different things. Lamb curry, lamb naan, chicken tika masala, garlic naan, shrimp curry, vegetable noodles, and vegetable rice. Everything was good. Everyone enjoyed their items. This place has been around for years, and I have ordered food to go before during Covid, but never circled back to eat in the restaurant. I parked in this plaza with the full intention of getting crêpes, but the smell of the Indian food reeled us in. They have a lunch buffet every day of the week although it is a little bit more expensive on the weekends ($20 on a Saturday). This was enjoyed by meat eaters and vegetarians alike. There was not a huge variety of options, but I would say there was enough for the amount of money we spent and everything was fresh. They also bring naan to the table. Would return! read more

This is not a huge restaurant inside but I was seated immediately. I ordered the garlic naan, saag paneer and shrimp masala. My food was very good, excellent spices and colorful presentation. There were three waiters for the entire restaurant so you had to wait which is my only negative but the staff was very polite and working hard. The food on the buffet looked promising, so my girlfriend and I were excited about that option. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. And salt. It lacked so much salt that I am surprised no one mentioned it in previous recent reviews. Maybe because it was the buffet? I'm hoping their regular items have more flare, so I may try again one day. The free nan that came with the buffet was very dry and almost like a cracker. Same with the samosas. The water tasted like tap, so I couldn't salvage my taste buds with hydration. When I lived in Altamonte back in 2013-2015 this was my go to Indian restaurant. We loved their lunch buffet and their dinner items. Honestly, I've yet to find a place in all of central Florida that has (eggplant) bharta the way they made it. However, we moved to other areas of central Florida and rarely make it to this side of town anymore. That changed yesterday when I had an appointment in Altamonte and decided to stop in for the lunch buffet. $14 all you can eat and it did not disappoint! What I like about their buffet is that unlike many others, they pretty much always had the same items, so I knew what to count on. To my happiness, they still had just about all the same things as they had years before, with maybe a few updates. The butter chicken was still delish. I really like their raita - many places spice it, add sugar, etc but their is perfect for me. Their samosas were small which made them nice for getting multiples or not feeling guilty if you took some. Their cabbage is really nice and I feel like I rarely see that on buffets. The palak paneer was pretty good, although not my favorite. The biryani was a bit spicy for me. They make the naan fresh for the table, so it takes a few minutes but it's worth it. So hot and delicious. For dessert they had really yummy rice pudding - thick and flavorful. They also had this creamy warm brown halwa dessert. I do not know what it was, but it was really good. The whole buffet was $14 and I felt definitely worth it. The staff continuously stopped by to ask if I needed more to drink and check in on me. So glad I stopped in! read more

If you're craving Indian food, this is a great place. Locally owned. They seem to do a lot of takeout versus people dining in. The dining room is very cozy, and would accommodate a nice little date night for a small group of people. Service was good. They kept on top of things, including keeping the water glass full. Full because the spice will get you. You can alter the degree of spiciness to your each food order. Reasonably priced will definitely be back.
