The entire facility is absolutely immaculate and just may be the cleanest restaurant in Central Florida. The Lamb Vindaloo as well as the Chicken Tikka Masala were amazingly delicious and the Garlic Naan was steaming hot and it perfectly complimented the meal. Staff were very friendly and welcoming toward us. I ordered the lamb korma ($20.99). It literally is the best I've ever had. I eat Indian often and this was simply amazing. Generous portion too and extremely flavorful. The Naan is an add on and an additional cost but it was not too bad overall for $4.99. Service is a bit weak but they are nice and the place is clean. Bathroom not so much. Overall, I give it 4 stars for great flavor and lamb. Very tender in all bites. I would eat here again. Also the mango custard is smooth and refreshing. Great way to end. read more

Our waitress prioritized other tables leaving us waiting when we arrived and also when we left making me chase the check; I hate that! No refills. No follow up. No tea. No ice for the ice water. She didn't even run the food out. Sure, she was sufficiently pleasant but not good. So, you'll get more food here but you'll also pay more; they sort of push you into buying larger "family" style portions and everything's also a la carte down to the naan which isn't "the usual" Indian experience. One main, rice, and an appetizer was enough for two people with a boat load of take away. It's a shame they don't do a lunch menu or offer combinations because the pricing sort of forced a lack of variety you'll not get at other Indian restaurants unless you want to pay for all the extras. Canned sodas and plastic condiment/portions cups didn't bespeak of the quasi snazzy atmosphere and price point. Overall, meh. read more

I love korma and this is better than many of the Indian places I've tried in NY. The veggies were nice and had some paneer in it too, but I want to try a meat korma next time. Butter chicken: a nice standard one, with a little more tomato flavor than I'm used to. The chicken was just slightly dry but overall this was a good dish. Shrimp biryani: we had this as medium spice and think that was the way to go as it added a lot of flavor. It also comes with two side sauces although I don't think it adds much to the dish. We tried Persis in n a recommendation from a student in my class. He gave me a list to buy and that's what we went with! For entrees the butter chicken was delicious, the chicken biryani rice was the perfect spice level ( I stuck with mild spice) Chicken 65 and mango lassi smoothie along with garlic naan were the best! So for all the food on our table we pay $80 with tip and if you pay cash you get a 10% discount on your bill. $80 for all this food is amazing! It's super filling and you can take it home and it reheats well. The butter chicken is like $18.99 same for the chicken tikka. Rice that comes with your meal is unlimited far as I know, we've came here over 10x and never been billed for more rice even when we ask for some to go. read more

Food is excellent - 5+ stars! Prepared expertly, and with a varied menu that offers more dishes than the typical Indian restaurant. Wish the service was a little better and hope it will improve. For example - don't bring the appetizers and entrees at the same time. Check on the table at least once after the food is brought to see if everything was brought ok and if we need anything, refill beverages, clear finished plates. Don't pressure people to fill out an online review by putting the QR code in their face and asking them to fill it out now while paying the bill. It would also be nice to be able to make a reservation, at least during busy times on weekends, since it does get busy. I hope this place does well - the food is really good. Meh. I was genuinely excited to try Persis for lunch today - they split their hours, open for lunch, close, and then re-open for dinner. But upon arrival, I got the feeling they were under-staffed and scrambling to take care of their customers. The restaurant - simple but pretty - has indoor and outdoor seating, and I get the feeling they do a very strong take-out business. My Shrimp Vindaloo was good, the curry itself was delicious, but I was not a fan of the rice. I don't know what it was, but I should have gone with the naan instead. I ordered a Dr. Pepper, which came in a can (which I love), but I had to ask for my check twice. I doubt I'll return, but I did appreciate how clean this restaurant was. read more

This has got to be the nicest looking Indian restaurant in this area! I loved the Indian music videos playing on the TV. We ordered the Garlic Naan which was sooo good, I ended up ordering another. The butter chicken was delicious and the sauce was perfect with rice and the naan. We also got the Paneer Tikka Masala and that was okay. The best dish here is hands down the Lamb Biryani, very aromatic and flavorful. The Lamb was tender and spiced perfectly. The Mango Lassi was good but the Mango Custard was even better, wish it was a bit larger though. I wish they had a lunch special here as it can be pricey but it is definitely quality food. Traveling through and found this restaurant on this site. Was a little concerned when i walked in at 6:15pm and only one other customer seated. By the time i left an hour later, it was almost full. I was deebating between Chana Masala and Chicken tiki Masala. Waitress looked at me and she did not hesitate and pointed to Chana Masala. WOW, it was incredible. Had always wanted to try out this "Indian" place ever since it opened. Today I finally got that chance and was not disappointed. Was a late lunch so not many people in the restaurant. Greeted promptly and sat down. Had the chicken Kadai and it was really good, got medium and was just the right spice with a decent amount of chicken.
