Husband ordered two items. El salpicón was ok a bit too sweet. Then he ordered maizitos de pollo and they were extremely greasy, the pinapple sauce was not good. It tasted more like pinapple jam. The order also took 35 minutes and even when we called ahead. Service was terrible. Raspaos - Colombian Near Me - Hialeah, Florida

Raspaos is one of my favorite Colombian restaurants. La Hamburguesa Ranchera is my favorite meal on the menu. The burger taste great and so do the hot dogs. The Raspao caleño without fruits is also delicious. Plus it gives me an excuse to us the leche condensada as dipping sauce like i would with Piña, Rosada, and Ajo. Hey, I know It sounds gross but don't nock it until you try it. As for the service, it's like everyone else says. You pay at the counter, wait for your name to be called and you sit wherever is available. They are their own style of restaurant. I know a lot of people like to be serviced at a table like they would in a big restaurant. But that's not raspaos, Raspaos is quite small and I don't think that would go so well. read more

I usually get the bandeja paisa when I go here which taste very good and brings a lot of food. My main complain with this place is the waiting time, you would think it's a restaurant. My boyfriend and I waited almost 45 minutes for two bandeja paisas....way too long. read more

So sad to say that this is the only place that i like the raspaos which are to die for so yummy and the arepas but the service is garbage i believe they switched owners but i ordered a raspao and the girl carried on her conversation. Finally got it like 45 mins later and when questioned why it took so long if nobody was there she just totally rudely ignored me and carried on with her conversation again like we owe them something as a matter of fact im craving those raspaos but i wil most definitely be looking for another place to dine. One star because it's the lowest option. The service here is horrible. Their fruit salad is terrible and what is supposed to be an amazing Colombian cholado (fruit mixed with blackberry juice and condensed milk) was all artificially flavored with some robitussin tasting juice. We told the people it wasn't to our liking and instead of switching out they looked at us like we were garbage. In addition, my brother was sitting with his fiancé eating a fruit salad and a cleaning lady came by and PICKED UP THEIR PLATE to clean underneath all while sticking her finger in their fruit salad. I have never ever experienced someone picking up my food WHILE IM EATING IT to clean my table. That is unheard of. Although the place has potential, management truly makes it nothing less then a hole in the wall. If you are looking for good authentic Colombian food, this is not the place to go. read more

The food is great, but it is not worth the visit at all. The service is horrible. I've visited this restaurant a couple of times but after my last visit, I've decided to never go again. We waited to be assisted for 5 minutes, while half the staff was just talking amongst themselves and joking around. But that didn't bother me as much as seeing the people who came in after Us. They waited to be attended for over 10 minutes while several of the employees were perfectly capable of attending them. One of the employees even had the nerve to eat in front of these people, and tell them that they'd be assisted right away. We waited for our food for over half an hour, and I still had to go back inside to get the juice that they never gave me. My friend and I ate in the car instead. I sincerely hope the managers see this review and reevaluate their customer service and values read more

I'm starting to think all these bad reviews might be competitors, I come here all the time so do my local friends and I've had friends come from abroad and this restaurant is always on their list to try again. As far as I'm concerned it tastes exactly like Colombian food should taste like (at lease regionally speaking), I've NEVER had a bad experience with either food nor customer service and their prices are fair. This is a self-order, laid back restaurant. The only thing I would like to see is more sauces available on the tables for the perros and burgers rather than having to ask the staff or other customers, but this is far from a big deal and certainly not a deal breaker. read more

Been here many times for lunch. 1. Food is always delicious and fresh. 2. Service is great. 3. Awesome prices. 4. The crazy amazing and huge Colombian burger (forgot the actual name) - bacon, potatoes, pineapple sauce, and like what seems like many many other ingredients make a really unique and awesome burger oh and it's only $6 or so. The arepas weren't cooked. And the chicharrones LITERALLY had 4 pieces on actual meat. The food here is great, but there is one complaint I have about their service: the food always takes long to be served. The quality of the food though makes up for it. Their Bandeja Paisa is incredible. Comes with a nice cut of steak, avocado, rice, beans, a fried egg, a piece of arepa, chicharron (fried pork belly), and platanitos maduros (fried sweet plantain). I was looking for a good place for cholados/raspados and the ones here are not good. they aren't authentic. too sweet. don't have passion fruit (maracuya) as they should have.or the fruits in the cholado are so bland. the blackberry(mora) is just a really sweet and fake syrup. never getting them here again. i didn't try the food but it looked good which is why i'm giving it two stars. read more
