    Veggie burger and chips
    Nat A.

First time visiting with a local resident. The bar staff waited on us and there was one a chef. The staff were attentive. It was late on a Tuesday night. Our party of three ordered garlic parm wings, fish and chips and veggie burger with chips. The chips are homemade and tasty. Fish and chips were tasty. The wings had a different type of batter on them. Not bad, but not what we expected. The veggie burger was not what I expected. Didn't enjoy. Prices were reasonable. They close at 10p. Typical pub food, decor and vibe. I'd return, but not to order the veggie burger.

    Burgers and fries!!

Stopped in during the pub crawl. Long Island Tea was really good. We each had the pub burger. You won't find many better than this one.

Smothered Steak with tots and a super yummy roll.

Local Dive Bar with surprisingly good food and great friendly service. They were very busy on a Friday night, full house! I would suggest giving it a try if u are in the area and dont mind the local dive bar experience. It was a nice warm June evening and they also have some outside tables if you would perfer.

With this change in ownership (some big time lawyer) I just hope the place doesn't become too litigious.

Being a…read moreSunday night the kitchen was closing at 10pm and even though we only had three minutes to order, our waiter Pat, just told us he would get the order in. Although they were fairly busy the food came out in 10 minutes. We ordered fried mushrooms, they were the usual you get anywhere but for the price, it was above average in quantity! I love salads so I ordered a side salad thinking it would be small and a start to my meal, it was huge for a side salad. I was full after my salad and a few mushrooms. The grilled cheese and crinkle fries were tasty and portion size was way more than expected for the price. Now to the best meal of all...the Monte Cristo was AMAZING paired with sweet potato fries!!! My wife ordered this and I have never had it so I tried a bite, WOW! Portion sizes compared to price were outstanding! I can't say enough good about my experience. They are located right next to the river so be sure to walk over and take in the water.

My son loves the fish. My daughter loves the tenders and I love almost every sandwich they have. Service is always great... Sometimes sassy but that's what's fun about it! And the bar is an all-time Bay City favorite with the old-school feel.

We made a reservation through their website, which sent us to the "Taost" app. When prompted in the app, we included info about food allergies and mentioned our anniversary. Though the app prompted us the provide this info, no mention was made of either at dinner. Though the dining room was almost empty, the hostess seated another couple at the table right next to us a few minutes after we sat down. As it turned out, I was closer to the man from this other party than I was to my wife....not an ideal setting for what was meant to be a romantic anniversary dinner celebration. It was especially annoying because there were so many other empty tables available. We each had a cocktail, (A "Mule" and a "Perjury"), which were excellent. Dinner was another story. Petite Caesar Salads were ok, not great. Chicken Picatta and Lobster Oreganata were horribly salty. The chicken and lobster were cooked alright but were almost inedible because of the saltiness. Either the "chef" didn't taste the sauces or didn't care. Either way, yuck! Never again.
