My boyfriend had an event and the entire place was rented for the weekend. The people were friendly, accommodating and professional. We came in today for Sunday Brunch. The service was amazing, as usual. We had the breakfast tacos and Italian omelet. The tacos were good, very yummy and not something we've ever thought would taste good but they were very good! We also got to try the Italian donuts, they were so yummy and moist... there was a spice cake one with cream cheese and one with a chocolate coconut glaze, both very yummy! We ordered some dinner entrees to take home. I had the Ravello Ravioli and my boyfriend had the chicken Alfredo. The raviolis were AMAZING, so flavorful and are my new favorite. Staff is very sweet and helpful. However the food was a huge disappointment. The sauce was something close to marinara sauce instead of hearty Italian pasta sauce. I can't explain what was in the raviolis but it wasn't anything like a meat filled ravioli. read more

Food is great and staff is very nice. My fist time in the restaurant. The only thing I would say negative is that they need to lay off on whatever they use to clean the floors and or wait until customers are out. The fumes were overwhelming.. I'd rather smell their delicious foods while eating rather than cleaning supplies. .. other than that I would return again. read more

I chose this place for my baby shower, we reserved "the big room". The big room looks great, I just loved the look. BUT, "my fully staffed" event was nothing like stated in the contract! Firstly, our food was LATE, no announcement the food had arrived, we asked the one employee we did see, for more tortillas please, he was not nice and had an attitude! Oh we also had to pick up after ourselves! My family helped to clear out plates to play games. Secondly, this absurd lady Liz came in during the baby shower event, and I mean midway of baby shower speech and asked us to pay our dues! Is that professional?! Thirdly, there was a big junk of wood missing from floor, and one of my guest fell!!! Fourthly, the day to pay our dues came. The appointment was set for 1 pm then received phone call to move it till 2:30 then Liz was unable to make it, and instructed us to pay another girl there that met me in the alley way, with no shoes on, asking me if I had cash or card out loud in the alley! I'm just at awe that these people are in business, but also saddened my event sucked because of them! read more

I had the chicken Caesar salad today. The same salad served by the prior owner had thick luscious pieces of chicken. The new owner served it with very thin and somewhat dry chicken. Very disappointing. read more

We had dinner last Sunday evening and I can say the waiters were superb, friendly, witty, attentive to say the least. The place is very cute inside but the food was disappointing. The pasta portions were a little skimpy and I gave my husband my spaghetti so he would have enough as he ordered the same. I had a blah chicken parmesian patty and the others at my table ordered raviolas and lasagna. All of us said the sauce was not cooked quite Italian as the sauce was marinara flavor with squashed tomatoes and a little garlic thrown in. My husband sad my spaghetti sauce is superb to there's and I am not Italian. Sauce needed some red wine and Italian spices. No meat was in the sauce, you have to order sausage or meatballs at a few dollars a piece and ice tea and soda is $3.50. Too costly for what you get. The bread was tasteless for Italian bread but they kept bringing it. My husband said you need a good cook there or have him follow an Italian recipe! I don't think we will go back and there are not a lot of Italian restaurants in Merced. Food needs a lot more flavor and a little bigger portions. Excellent service doesn't make up for lousy, overpriced food. Sorry. read more
