Excellent service is rare anywhere you go, but it's what I get when I take my cars here. I'm willing to pay to have Alford's do the work because I trust them to fix what's broken and to also let me know what I need to keep an eye on. But they have NEVER tried to pressure me into fixing those other possible repairs they have noticed. I keep a family fleet of cars going and having a place to bring them where I know I won't be jerked around is great. I highly recommend Alford's repair. I would be shocked if you didn't receive the same great service as I always have.

Elk River Muffler & Brake will be my one and only shop I go to for all of my mechanical needs moving forward. These guys communicate well and are very technical and in my opinion can diagnose with accuracy what other shops tend to miss diagnose. I brought an old gmt800 in and they were able to make her roadworthy again. They replaced my leaking manifolds & the gaskets, serviced my rebuilt transmission at its 30k mile interval , diagnosed and fixed my cylinder 7 misfire, and diagnosed what I thought was a slipping transmission (clogged catalytic converter) all for a more than reasonable price. This shop offers a very personal touch as you can interact with the mechanics working on your vehicle and the guy at the front is great as well. They are certainly worth my commute from the cities and highly recommend this shop
