Dr. Mike is very knowledgeable and personable. The office and dental rooms are very clean. I am not sure about the pricing here because I have nothing to compare it to and have been going here for at least ten years. They have many hygienists who are lovely. They have seen me in emergencies pretty quickly. They do schedule out their hygiene appointments far out so it is hard to reschedule one if you need to but they work very hard with you to find a good time. I highly recommend. read more

I have been having my dental work done at Raven Dental for over 30 years. I have always been very pleased with them. First Dr. Fred and now Dr. Mike and Dr. Dan. I've primarily been seen by Mike and I couldn't ask for better care. He is a leader in all the new technologies and treatments and never once has he tried to push treatments or procedures that were not needed. He cares more about your Dental health than your money. He once came in on a day the office was closed and made me a temporary cosmetic fitting so I wouldn't leave for a cruise the next day with a missing front tooth. All of the office staff, techs and hygienists are friendly, professional and always remember your name and take the time to help you however they can. Never again. Went here because they are friends with someone i know. When I made the appt last week, I clearly told michelle that it was very hard for both me and my son to do the xrays. She told me they could do the panoramic xrays where nothing is in our mouths. That never got told to the hygienist. The hygienist started putting it in my mouth and it wasn't working. He went to go get a lady named Andrea. Andrea tried to talk me into the mouth ones. I was willing to pay for the panoramic ones. I got up started to leave and grab my stuff, Andrea attempted to block me from leaving and was trying to convince me to still have the mouth xrays. I left, I was chased out of the office by michelle. I told her from my car, that wasn't what we discussed over the phone. I'm sure they didn't want almost $700 walking out of their office but thats what happened. Next time, make sure you tell someone that the patient can't tolerate xrays in their mouth. Never again. Hope you enjoyed the loss of business. read more

I've had mixed feelings about my past dentists; from uncomfortable and guilt laden to comfortable yet uneventful. I've visited Ravens Family Dental twice now, once for a cleaning and once for a single visit crown, and both experiences were the best I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the dentists are knowledgeable and passionate. They communicate throughout the entire visit, clearly explain your x-rays, and answer every question happily. The technology is cutting edge, which made my visit for a crown fascinating. I watched as my teeth were recreated on the computer in 3D and Dr. Raven designed the perfect crown. I then had the opportunity to watch as the CEREC carved my crown in about 10 minutes, right in front of my eyes! Dr. Raven even stayed after hours to ensure that my smile looks just as beautiful, if not better than when I came in. I'm going to have more work done, so the receptionist is calling my insurance carrier to determine how much coverage I have left. I have never left a dentists office happier. Finding the right dentist is very important to me for many reasons and I plan to visit the Ravens for many years to come. I highly recommend Ravens Family Dental! read more

I can't say enough good things about this entire office. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, supportive, and understanding. The staff are very down to earth and Dr. Mike has a great sense of humor. The office is very flexible and will do their best to get you in. I called, as a new patient, about a cavity I needed filled. Dr. Raven got me in the next week and managed to fill my cavity rather than sending me off for a root canal even though it was border line. Had absolutely no pain during the filling and the hygienist and Dr. Raven did everything they could to ensure that I was comfortable. After wards they did their best to schedule me for my next appointment in a way that would maximize what I could get out of my insurance. This is a wonderful practice that is very focused on patient care. I have some dentist chair anxiety from childhood, but Dr. Dan explained everything in a calming, friendly way. Excellent technology allows you to see the offending tooth on camera, and also get crowns done in one day. His light handed technique meant very little, to no discomfort. I have had a few bad experiences with dentists in the past but decided to visit Ravens Family Dental after doing some research and couldn't be happier. Both Dr. Michael and Lujana are fantastic. It had been a couple years since I had a cleaning and when I went in, the hygenist was personable and informative. The office was clean, modern and everyone was so nice. I ended up booking a follow up appointment to fix a tooth and Dr. Michael fitted me for a veneer and spent a lot of extra time filing it to get my smile just right. I honestly can say I couldn't be happier and I will definitely be back and recommending them to others. they truly enjoy what they do and want to make the experience a good one for the patient. Dr. Dan Raven is gifted!! and Amazing. I am one of those unfortunate people who had a very very bad experience when I was 7. I never went to a dentist again..the mear mention of dentist made me sweat and shake, and have anxiety. Needless to say 50 + years later several of my teeth are rotted, in the front no less, and by back teeth are halved as they had cracked and I could not chew. I was in pain and my daughter in law, who drives all the way from CT to MA because "no one else touches her teeth", she has an amazing smile by the way, practically drags me to her dentist, Dr Dan Raven, who so patiently took me, a sweating, shaking, hurting person and not only did he fix my teeth, but put me at ease, and didn't hurt me at all. In fixing back teeth that were halved and the halves that were left were rotted, he made it able for me to really chew my food; which oddly enough made me loose 14 lbs in 3 months!!! He is of course now in the process of fixing the rest of my teeth. He gave me what I didn't have for over 50 years, no fear of dentists -- well at least no fear of his dentistry. Ravens Family Dental is by far the best dental office I've ever been to. I've been going since October 2012. Their staff is incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. All the doctors are very honest in their assessments and I was sold on their consultation after having a cracked filling from a previous dentist. They never tried upselling me for a root canal after I had incredible nerve pain from the cracked filling. They simply replaced the filling and did a great job on restoring some of the shoddy dental work that had been done over the years.
