Stay away from this business. They are very rude. I was not happy with the way they dropped the ball with my daughter's retainer. No one answers the phone. When you text, takes them hours to get back to you. Apparently, the owner is not happy that I told them the need to so what they need for my daughter. I orderd it and now the owner said to fo someplace else for business. DO NOT GO HERE! The support staff and doctors are incredibly rude and incompetent. read more

A few days ago I got my first Zoom whitening treatment done at Newton Smile Centre. I'm very pleased with results. Before the whitening process I got dental cleaning by Ryana and x rays done by Marinila. I have to admit that everyone was extremely nice, but I must say that Ryana is a top notch! She did the most detailed dental cleaning I have ever had. I will definitely go back to see her in 6 months. Marinila was so careful when she preformed x ray, and I loved her personality. Rafaela -- dental assistant, who preformed Zoom whitening treatment was very informative, patient while providing a good atmosphere for the patients. She was very calm and professional for the entire time. Dr. Aissa performed dental exam, and despite bad news that he had to share with me, he was very informative and professional. UPDATE: I wanted to do a quick update regarding recent procedure I got at Newton Smile Centre. I want to thank Marinila for taking the best impression in this entire world! I got my partial denture done at Newton Smile Centre, and it came out great! Impression was something that I was terrified of because of my previous experience, but Marinila was simply amazing! If I ever need to do it again, I would only let her do it. She was so careful and professional, and no issues whatsoever! Bad service. They took advantage of me. The prices are high and they are charging me for x-rays . They said my insurance would cover it but for some reason they didn't . I went here for the first time last week for a cleaning. I was there for close to an hour and a half. At the end of the visit I was told that I had 7 cavities, which I was shocked to hear considering I take good care of my teeth and haven't had a cavity in years. Upset by this news, I made an appointment with a different dentist for a second opinion. After examining my teeth and reviewing my most recent X-rays, the dentist concluded that I have ZERO cavities. This was my second time getting my teeth whitened and I was genuinely excited about the process. I got the Zoom whitening treatment because I had heard really great things about the results. My experience at the Newton Smile Centre was not at all a positive experience specifically because of the dental assistant. Rafeala was incredibly aggressive during the treatment to the point where it hurt. Before the treatment, the dental assistant puts placements in your mouth to keep your mouth open throughout the procedure.I flinched a few times because Rafeala did not give me details about the process and her actions made my teeth hurt. She also immediately begun and started putting placements in my mouth. I asked her to be gentle because I have sensitive teeth and she responded by saying "this is what is necessary for the procedure." When she took the placements out, I flinched again and she abruptly responded saying "it's not like I am taking out your lip." The experience was unprofessional and I don't believe I will be returning in the future. read more

It has been a little over 5 years since I last saw a dentist since I am TERRIFIED of them. I have to say walking into the Newton Smile Centre was the best thing I ever did. Upon arrival I told the assistant that I was scared and she assured me not to be, that they will be very gentle and she would also let the Dentist know my fear. Right after filling in my new client info form the dentist himself, Dr. Ben Aissa, took me into his office to discuss my history and go over any concerns I might have. He was so pleasant and a good listener. I told them about my allergy to latex and he quickly went in to remove any thing that could be latex (the last time I went to the dentist, even though I told the 3 times about it, they still put it in my mouth and I panicked!) so I was very calm once I heard there would be absolutely no risks in the room. The assistant was so nice and she really made the x-rays as painless as possible and allowed me to take a break a few times, since I'm a big baby! The cleaning was a breeze and the dentist really walked me through the work that I would need done, explaining to me and actually showing me what I need and why, which made me feel like he was teaching me rather than just giving me a bill. I have to say that I really felt like they took the time and cared so much about my concerns. They spent almost 2 hours with me and they didn't rush me out of there at all. Newton Smile Centre is clean, friendly and caring and I am so happy to say that I have found my dentist after so long!!! read more

I recently got a zoom whitening treatment there and was very pleased with the whole experience. The front desk personnel are very courteous and pleasant, and the technician (Rafaela) who performed my treatment was very professional, attentive, and friendly. During my initial consultation, the technician recommended that I use a prescription flouride toothpaste and I am very glad that I did. I think it prevented the horror, sensitivity stories that I previously heard about zoom from happening to me. It's only $15 and I highly recommend it. This is my first experience going through a professional whitening procedure. I was so impressed by this office but I would consider going back from all of my dental needs. I was greeted by the front desk staff who are very warm and welcoming. I went to a consultation and then a set up for another appointment. When I came back to the actual procedure, it was unbelievable as the technician made me incredibly comfortable and kept me calm considering the various horror stories I've heard about the Zoom system. Had two crowns done 2 years ago at Newton smile center and have since then had more than 1 dentist tell me they are the best crowns they've ever seen. Quality dental work. A dentist today told me a lot of crowns last 5-7 years, but mine look like they will last a good 15-20. Even though they were done 2 years ago they look brand new. Money very well spent. I have also had a dental cleaning done by Ryana and it was by far the most thorough dental cleaning I've ever had. The office is clean and the receptionist are sweet and welcoming. read more

For three years, Newton smile centre took care of me. Their service was great from the front desk, the hygienist and technician, and the doctor. Everyone was super professional, and went above and beyond to make me look and feel great. About six months ago I moved to Oregon, which meant needing a new dentist. After sharing some of my dental history and areas that have always been kind of a concern, my new dentist, after a very thorough examination, stepped back and said, "I don't know what you're talking about, your teeth look great. Whoever's been taking care of you for the last few years has done an amazing job, and there's no sign of anything you're talking about." It made me grateful for the people at Newton! Avoid this dentist office. They get you into the office through groupons or other coupons for whitening, which is fine, but their dental care is subpar. On my first appt, the dental care assistant was great (very thorough and kind), however the dentist was two hours late for my "evaluation" - since he was so late, he was rushed and too quick. I did need a procedure (a crown), so with hesitation, I booked my procedure. I took a day off work, but the dentist cancelled the appointment because he needed to close the office. Ok, fine, I need this procedure, so I rescheduled for today. I took another vacation day from work, but again, just received a call that he "does not feel well." I'm done with this place. Not returning ever. Very unprofessional dentist. Office staff very pleasant is the one star I gave them. read more

Very clean modern office. Their prices are very reasonable, for anywhere, much less Newton. My procedures went smoothly with little discomfort. There's a huge amount of parking in the lot across the street. They had a power outage due to a problem on the whole street and had to reschedule but were real nice about it. I went there teeth cleaning which I bought Amazon local. I used this coupon and they said to me that this cleaning wasn't enough I should make deep cleaning. And I went for deep cleaning. I went there two times for deep cleaning and I used the solution which they sold to me. That solution cause black spot on my teeth and my teeth now look much more worse before the cleaning. And I also they charged me nearly $500 for this process (Although I have a dental care package each time I went there for cleaning they took me $233 ) Before the process I asked about money and they said that it is 233, but they didn't say me that each side of the teeth (right and left side) is charged separately. So I thought that price was the total price. But each time I went there they charged me and at the end I paid nearly $500 and now I have black spot worse looking teeth . read more

The usual stigma that comes with a dentist visit does not apply to Dr Ben Aissa. My visit to the office yesterday was very enjoyable and most importantly for me - painless! I had a few laughs while watching Top Gear during my filling! I've never had such an experience before. He created a very friendly, relaxing and at the same time professional atmosphere for me. The office itself is decorated beautifully. Its clean and gives you a feeling that you are walking to see a professional, who cares how he presents himself and takes pride in the image he portrays. I went for the zoom whitening, but got a cleaning first. They cleaned my teeth for an hour and fifteen minutes! Usually it's only a half hour. My mouth was so sore for days and after the cleaning I couldn't even close my mouth because she was cleaning for so long. The hygienist kept digging and digging. I was in so much pain. Instead of dreading going to the dentist I actually look forward to it now. The waiting area is very clean and modern looking and I never have to wait long to be seen. All the dental hygienists are friendly and welcoming, and are extremely gentle when cleaning your teeth. The dentist is extremely knowledgable and he lets you know exactly what you need to be doing to maintain healthy teeth. The receptionist is also very friendly and helpful and if you need to set up an appointment for any further services she takes the time to help you book it and will try to schedule you in on the date that works best for you.
